I really enjoyed my stay at The Marmara:)

The location was excellent as very close to the Metro, and to Istiklal street. The room was very spacious with all the necessary amenities. What was beyond my expectation was the upgrade when I came back for a further 2 nights following my trip to Amsterdam. I was at Marmara for 5 days then travelled to Amsterdam, then back to Istanbul for a stopover. I originally booked for a corner room for the stopover as cheaper but was much surprised to be upgraded in a premium room with view on Bosphorus. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast very good. Each time I travelled to Istanbul I will stay at The Marmara and recommend same to my friends and family.

I was offered a free taxi ride from the airport to the hotel on my first stay but to my utter dissatisfaction the taxi was booked for 12.00 on the 8th of May 2024 when my flight reached there at 5.30 am! I sent all my flight details to the hotel as requested by bookings. So where it went wrong, I don't know. I had to pay for the taxi. I wasted much time and international rated calls to the transport agent.

genel olarak güzel..

herhalde Ramazan olduğu için eski zengin kahvaltı yoktu.. ben 20 yıldır bu otele geliyorum.. pandemide ara verdik ama.. kapı önündeki köpeklere kadar hatırlarım..

kahvaltı.. bir de oda servisinde eskisi gibi yemek çeşitleri yoktur..

من الاستقبال إلى التوديع كل شيء كان استثاني جدا الريسبشن ودودين جدا وتم الدخول قبل الوقت بساعتين وفي الغرفة التي طلبتها وبكامل طلباتي وقت المغادة طلبت التمديد وتم التمديد أربع ساعات بمقابل مادي بسيط عمال الحقائب والأمن على البوابة وتعاونهم مع النزلاء احترافي جدا النظافة في الغرف على أكمل وجه الافطار متنوع جدا ويرضي جميع الأذواق والشيف كان يعمل بعض الأطباق الاضافية حسب الطلب الانترنت في جميع مرافق الفندق متوفر وبسرعة عالية الموقع في مقابل ميدان تقسيم وبجانبك كل ما تريد من بقالات وصيدليات ومطاعم و صوالين حلاقة وجميع وسائل المواصلات على بعد خطوات من بوابة الفندق

كنت أتمنى لو كانت مدة إقامتي أطول حتى أتمتع أكثر و أكثر بهذا الفندق ومرفقاته المميزة

Location is Great. Marmara Hotel taxi driver Mr ERDALL was more than helpful.

The staff at breakfast area are mainly trainee, so service not top. Reception staff not welcoming when we had check in and not flexible regarding late check out!!!

The lady at restaurant that sits the guests wasn’t very accomodating. She saw me waiting at the counter to check in for breakfast but she just turned around snd I knew she saw me.

The staff went the extra mile!

Location is top - just a few steps away from the main pedestrian shopping strip, cleanliness and service - at exceptional level! We had a videoconference that we had to host via Zoom and the staff went far and beyond the extra mile to ensure the speed of the Internet is enough so we can have our videoconference uninterrupted by tech glitches. At least 3-4 people personally came to the room to ensure every modem was working! Staff was amazingly cooperative! Excellent recommendations for fun activities with the kids! We visited the dolphinarium and it was an amazing experience for the kids! Staff is super patient and helpful!

The lobby was quite shabby. It needs renovation, but I get that this might require stopping operations!

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Rooms are nice,staff at the door infront of hotel and bar staff are very kind and nice.They will do anything that you ask for.

This hotel will charge you deposit TWICE without asking You anything.I came at check in and pay my whole amount,than they want deposit 100€ so I paid in cash.Than my stay is over so I came to check out and paid costs durring the stay and than they tell me they already took deposit from credit card.They took me deposit in cash and deposit from credit card WITHOUT ASKING ME.One night I need knife in my room and they charge me that knife🤦🏼‍♀️.So bad policy of hotel this category.

Great location on Taksim square. Reassuring security arrangement pn entering the hotel. Adequate sized room with lovely views of the Bhosphorus. Good buffet breakfast with egg & pancake/waffle stations. Reception staff accommodated our request for a late check out for €70
