Everything was excellent!

We were travelling on June, so all Åre was very quiet. Nice hotel situated uphill from city centre. Small but cosy room. Good breakfast. Amazing view from the restaurant.

We have the hotel all for ourselves on the 2nd night during non-peak season. Everything is perfect and comfortable. We have the top floor, the scenary is perfect. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for skier. Breakfast is perfect. Cozy hotel.

The curtains is not dark enough to prevent light coming in.

loved the location, proper ski in ski out. food great. staff were amazing. hot Tubs so beautiful to sit in, gorgeous view. facilities great.

standard rooms and en-suites just a little small, though just about ok, as used the Spa, which was superb.

Excellent location, beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff. a lot of what you need is at the hotel: food, drinks, after ski, ski rental, spa. Also, it’s very easy to get to Åre center from the hotel thanks to the bergbana.

The only thing I didn’t like was the bed. found it uncomfortable. didn’t sleep very well.

Breakfast was great, but it would have been good if it had started earlier. The hotel itself was fabulous, with a lot of character. Pity we couldn’t eat or drink there!

The fact that the hotel was essentially closed, which we didn’t know when booking. We chose a hotel on the mountainside for the views and the quiet. Then we were told that the restaurant and bar were closed and there would be no-one in reception either, except in the mornings. Without a car, this made it very difficult and inconvenient.

Friendly and helpful receptionists. Continental breakfast was nice and supper was good. Better value than some of the restuarants in town. Enjoyed the use of the sauna and pool. Location was beautifully situated further up from the town with nice views of the river.

We didn't have a car so unfortunately because the funnicular that transports you between town and the hotel operates at very limited times. (10:00 and 16:00), you need to be prepared to walk down and back up if you plan on having supper in town. If you need to organise transport. It costs approximately 130 kr for a taxi for the trip. The rooms are a bit dated. We also booked a room with a queen-sized bed, but got two single beds put together.
