Great Location to food places

It is a tired worn down property. Needs new curtains or serious cleaning. It is like nothing has been updated since 1970’s.

Room was below my expectations..very basic : (

The location was perfect for our needs. We cooked our own breakfast or eat out at local restaurants.
there was nothing to dislike.

That it was nice and quiet. And the beach is right across the road.
The smell of the apartment i had to spray the pillows and blankets just so i could go to sleep, the smell was really bad and it was so dusty.

The location & room size was good
When I arrived, I wasn't sure which room I was in. I have mobility issues & nothing in the advert said I would have to go up & down stairs. The photo of a patio is on ground floor. Please update this to let people know so we don't book if we have mobility issues. Had no warm water in the shower. I realise it's hot in Rarotonga but I still appreciate a warm shower in the morning. The drain was blocked. Wasn't a great experience staying here

Beautiful flora surrounding the apartment and we'll looked after. June the owner was lovely and had many interesting conversations during the 3 days we were there
Nothing to change.

it was a huge room/apartment
unfortunately the smell of mold was too strong for my partner and I! we couldn’t stay the two nights booked, we left after the first one! we could have asked the owner to change room, but my feeling was that every room would have had exactly the same smell!

Close to everything. Great housekeeping staff. Safe off street parking
Traffic noise and chainsaws on a public holiday. No towel service after 3 days as per website. Did the manager/owner a favour with some duty free but got no thanks at all. Expected a thanks.

I loved the garden and the size of the room.
The facilities were a little old - but it was as an authentic island home.

Travellers need to be adaptable and understanding that Rarotonga is a developing island nation. Just about everything, except for taro and coconuts, is imported. Freight costs are high therefore living costs are high. Don't expect a cheap holiday. Also, due to the 2020 Covid pandemic, a lot of Rarotongans have left the island to find work in NZ and Australia. Locals are working two or three jobs to cater to the needs of tourists. Please be understanding and kind to the locals.

The location and the view 100% fanastic. The house and outside decking is very spacious
We had a few maintenace/cleanliness issues when we arrived but after contacting the caretaker these issues were seen to immediately.
We expected the house to be stand alone but there is a granny type flat attached to one end with people coming and going all the time so our privacy was not great

It was low stress and near some good locations

Sea view and snorkeling just outside the property!

Large open spaces, close to the lagoon. Lovely garden, felt like a community with locals coming past & pets visiting is.
It was very hot without air-conditioning, the ceiling fans were good but it was head to sleep with the humidity.

It’s very big.
It’s not really clean. Especially the Kitchen’s floor. It had sand and dust there. Moreover, the dust fell from the cupboard in the kitchen every day.
