Excellent location. Spacious house with all necessary cooking utensils. Good facilities for entertainment, kayaking, snorkelling, board games and water slippers.
The bed in the room on the right side of the property was not in good condition. There were no people to welcome you and give you information about the island, although it was all written in a book, we would have liked someone to help us.

This place is perfect if you are looking for somewhere peaceful. It’s located right on the beach. Stunning views! I would say this side has the nicest of the beaches. Jade and Ben are so lovely and were so welcoming and always very helpful with information about the island and in general. It was super clean and quiet. I would for sure return and stay here again. It was a pleasure to stay here!
Can’t think of anything!

Ben and Jade were perfect hosts (met us on arrival, helped connect my phone to the internet, and even offered us their car and Jade even helped my sister-in-law with her bad back!)
Fabulous beach (just a short walk) with lounge chairs, kayaks and snorkelling gear. Beautiful gardens and grounds, and outdoor showers and footbaths.
Interiors tastefully decorated, with all the comforts of home; including a big selection of movies on DVD, and even some food items and essentials!
Although there are buses, you need a car or scooter, as it is quite far from shops and restaurants, and taxis are very expensive.

Villa was really clean and had good facilities. Really liked that we had a good amount of privacy.
Parking is easily accessible and the host provides things like snorkels and kayaks which was great.
Extremely close to a great beach that we often had to ourselves.

The villa was a perfect home away from home. Everything had been thought of down to cheese knives in the kitchen and an extension cord for gadgets. Kayaks, snorkelling gear, reef shoes … all provided at no extra cost. The villa was welcoming and incredibly clean; the hosts were accessible and accommodating.

Beautiful, peaceful location, a very short stroll to a white sandy beach with amazing snorkelling. Hosts Jade and Ben were lovely and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Self contained villas have everything you need for a perfect holiday with a lush and well maintained tropical garden setting. A short walk along the beach to some amazing eateries for lunch/dinner/cocktails. We miss our short stay in Rarotonga already and can't wait to return.

Lovely villa with everything you need, beautiful gardens and the most amazing snorkeling just down the very short path to the beach. Staff very friendly also. Will definitely be back!
Loved everything about this accomodation

For the traveller that is looking for the relaxed lifestyle away from the resorts. this is for you.
30m walk down a private palm tree lined path puts you on one of the nicest beaches in Rarotonga! Snorkel or kayak straight of the beach in crystal clear water.
nothing - Makayla Palms is perfect.

We staying in the 2 bedroom. Fantastic property with all the mod cons, very comfy beds. Situated on the best beach on the island I believe. Very private and the staff were lovely and helpful. Would love to return one day.

Great location, beautiful spot, wonderful and clean villas. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, it's a tiny distance to the best beach and there are gentle breezes. Absolutely fantastic set up for families - with outdoor showers, kayaks, snorkeling gear and loads of washing lines for hanging up wet gear. Our family of four with the grandparents in the villa next door had the best family holiday ever. There are vigorous roosters and dogs everywhere on Rarotonga, so take your ear plugs (some are provided in the villas).

My Fiance and I stayed at Makayla Palms, it was our first time to Rarotonga, and to the Pacific Islands. We wanted to be close to Muri, but also close to the fruits of raro too. This accommodation was honestly amazing, the value for comfort, size and everything! Even small spreads and freezer packs were there for us when we got there. The staff were extremely professional. It was an amazing time, thank you to the staff and Makayla Palms. We'll definitely be back here! <3
The ringing of the bell on Sunday morning (unavoidable, as Rarotonga loves Jesus). So next time I'll make sure to wear ear plugs on Saturday night.

It was a fabulous set up for a family group, in a private, beautiful setting - tropical gardens, close to the beach. We had everything we needed, including snorkelling gear, reef shoes and kayaks, cooking and laundry facilities.

Location was excellent, short walk to beautiful beach. Spacious rooms with fans in bedrooms and living rooms. Lovely outdoor area and good barbecue. Tastefully decorated with Island vibe! Great to have beach gear such as snorkels, beach shoes. flippers and kayaks available to use. good supply of kitchen utensils. Umbrellas also supplied for those rainy days.
Use of laundry and lots of space to hang washing.
Woken by roosters every morning (although this happens all over the Island). We did not get a full service half way through our stay. just the bedding and towels changed. Bathroom in the 2 bedroom unit could have done with a fan or better ventilation system. Pillows were all quite firm. It would have been good to have some softer pillows available. Safes were complicated to work.

Beautiful set up, loved the beach, all facilities were excellent. We loved our stay here
It was in a great location but you do need a car to get around.
9.0
The location. The privacy. The very friendly staff. The size of the room. The patio. The sun lounges. The complimentary snorkeling gear. The ability to use the laundry. The outdoor shower. Having a shop short walk away. Easy parking. All the little extras - you don’t need to bring anything.
The bed. I am a light sleeper and the double bed was the kind that if one person moves the whole bed moves.

The Villa was nice and spacious. It was well equipped in the kitchen. The living room was very comfortable. Parking was easy
The beach chairs were too heavy to move around. The barking dogs at night and the Roosters in the morning. But nobody can do anything about it.

Lovely stay at this property. Quite and peaceful. Just the place for some R and R. Recommended.

Great beach for swimming. Ease beach access. Quiet area, very relaxing
Lucky I took a laptop for watching shows, the only TV channel built in was unwatchable due to interference.

manager Grace was amazing nothing was a problem.
self contained BBQ was just prefect. the garden setting was great.
30 second walk to the beach. could set on the beach with provided loungers.
phone line not working properly.

Very neat and clean room, good amenities, with beach access (no beach view though) and use of kayaks.
There is nothing that the property can do about this but the local dogs in this area tend to pack at night and bark together. This happened all four nights we were there so it was a little hard to sleep.

Close to the beach and a good snorkelling area.
Fairly quiet, private and nice BBQ area. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We had some issues with the shower but they were looking into it when we left.

Amazing management, we were looked after well. Grace even dropped some fruits for us and offered to take us to the Saturday market. Very well run business. Beach is exceptional for swimming, with no corals.
I wish villa Tiana has a sea view; otherwise, everything else is perfect.

Everything about this property is perfect. Located on an amazing swimming & snorkelling beach that is quiet and away from the main crowds. Everything we needed! Grace is an amazing host, she goes over and above.
