Too cold for comfort

We enjoyed exploring Mt Tambourine with the spectacular sunset views (which are about 10mins drive away)

The accommodation was very dated, and not well equipped for the cold temperatures. We arrived to find the windows in our room open making in room temperatures approx 5 degrees - unfortunately the old windows, inadequate curtains & inefficient reverse cycle aircon meant the room stayed uncomfortably cold the whole night. The cleanliness was poor and the size of the bathroom for a family suite would have been better suited to a 1 person capsule style room.

Ageing but good value all up and comfortable.

A great location with small number of rooms and close to nature. Although the rooms were small they are comfortable with nearly everything you would need for a nice stay, indeed, we stayed an extra day, unplanned. Cereal breakfast and large milk. Close to eateries and Gallery Walk and other attractions. Resident bush turkeys kept a good eye on us as well as the leathernecks.

Bed although comfortable looked like it needed replacing - sagging in the middle. Tissues could be on offer. The soft drinks are a nice touch but for one who doesn't like fizz - juice could be a better option.

Great stay in a perfect location to visit Tamborine Mountain

Great location. Room was small but functional for 4. Lots of toiletries. Nice garden going down to the river. With kangaroos each evening. Walking paths in the forest opposite the Motel. and along to the center. Lots of toiletries. Tables to sit outside.

Could have had chairs in the garden. Could have been cleaner (especially under the beds)

Clean room, comfortable bed for a competitive price.

The price was competitive. The room clean and a couple of complimentary chocolates were waiting for us in the room.

I was under the impression that we could have walked across the road and get a meal for dinner. Sadly the "Bar & Grill" was not much more that a convienance store, Sadly the staff there said they don't open after hours for dinner. Which meant a trip to find somewhere to eat by car. This is not a fault of the accomodation but I include it for reference. The only thing about the accomodation that dissapointed was the water saving shower head. The water jets were so fine they felt like tiny needles hiting the skin, and it didn't seem to wet me enough.

Very handy location. Cafe and gelato next door, waterfalls across the road. You can book a room next to someone and socialise outside on the veranda together.

Exceptional

Was very cheap so was not expecting too much but upon arrival was pleasantly surprised. The easiest, fastest check-in and out ever, a lovely welcome, a chocolate placed on each bed with the towels and individual care products. Complimentary drinks, coffee and breakfast cereal. Very clean, great location. Usually stay in 4 stars plus but all the places I have stayed in in Australia need to stay here a night to learn how to do it properly.

Good location

Needs more car parks. Website needs to say it has step not all rooms are suitable for disabled. Steep driveway to walk up if you have to park down the other park

The motel's location gave us easy access to all the local tourist attractions and restaurants. The garden in front of the motel was quaint and added a soothing calmness to our stay up on the mountain

Cosy. Okay for a one night stay.

Great location, close to the rainforest walk, cafe, ice cream shop. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

The room smelt damp and musty. It also needs a deep clean - there was a lot of dust on top of the wardrobe / cabinetry. The air con filters really need cleaning too.
