Pobyt v Gori byl velice zajímavý a personál byl opravdu vstřícný.

Pokoj byl čistý a pohodlný. Umístění bylo v dostupnoti všech pamětihodností města. Snídaně byla výborná. Pesonál byl moc ochotný, dokonce nám věnoval svůj čas a provedli nás městem a okolím. Náš pobyt v Gori byl velice zajímavý, protože proběhl v době Velikonočních svátků. Vzhledem k tomu, že památky byly zavřené, personál se nám to snažil vykompenzovat.

Had to find another hostel because my request was ignored when I arrived there

When I arrived at the hostel, there was nobody there. I found another guest who shared a phone number with me that belonged to the hostel owner. When I called her, she told me in broken English that my reservation was a "bug" and that there were no rooms available for me, and that I should find something else on my own (I booked my room a couple of months before and she knew my name but she could not let me know about any bug earlier apparently). Additionally, she assured me that she would cancel the reservation the next day so I wouldn't be charged, but it took her several more days. Every time I wrote to her, she ignored my messages. I do not recommend staying at that hostel because you might encounter similar issues, and the customer service is really poor.

Bom pequeno-almoço

A guest house fica na parte de cima da casa da família e a dona da casa é simpática. A casa de banho era moderna e tudo funcionava bem, das melhores que encontrámos em alojamentos na Geórgia. O pequeno-almoço é feito no momento e estava tudo óptimo.

O quarto não é muito espaçoso para três pessoas.

A great experience, highly recommended

Pretty much everything. The place was quite central, recently refurbished with class, very clean, the breakfast was abundant and quite good, the people where welcoming, we had a shared kitchen with various amenities that we could use to prepare our own dinner. Really nothing to complain about

Two very small points of improvement: A shower mixer in the shower could reduce the frustration to find the right temperature by turning the two very sensible cold/hot knobs A private fridge in the room would really be the icing on the cake

The host was nice, the breakfast good.

It was impossible to contact the owner by calling because the phone was turned off. Nobody at the hotel (besides the owner) speaks english, so they knew nothing about us arriving (although they sorted it out). There was not any water as we arrived. I understand that this could happen but I would have expected that somebody at the hotel would have provided us with the information when this issue was to be fixed rather than us trying to reach the host. No drinking water was offered.

Suitable for a short time

Good price, where to park the car, quiet, there is a stove. The staff is ready to help.

The shower in my room didn't work very well. The water is either hot or cold and there is no way to adjust the temperature. My wife was cold in the shower, and I was boiled. The batteries are warm, but it was cool in the room at night. The biggest downside is that there is no microwave in the kitchen. The view from the window was to the junkyard in the backyard, it's good that there are curtains.

I love staying in small, family run guesthouses, and Nino's places is a great example of why. She is a kind and hardworking widow raising two young boys who helped to check us in when we arrived late and on the off-season. We enjoyed sharing coffee with her in the morning.

There was some mix-up around our check-in, and Nino wasn't there to get us in smoothly. It took a bit to figure out the heat and the wifi password had just changed, but I think this is largely due to the fact that we were traveling in the off-seasons (December!) and were the only ones staying in the guest house.

Upon arrival at the hotel, no one met us and did not answer the calls, it was raining heavily and it was already dark. We had to look for other accommodation at night in a strange city

I do not recommend this hotel

There was a friendly puppy

We tried to check into this hotel but the door was locked. we found another door but the woman seemed to have no idea there was a hotel there. We left and a seamstress from next door came to help us, and took us back to the original woman. They argued for a bit then agreed it was indeed a hotel. We were taken to one room that smelled like cigarettes, and the woman absolutely refused to consider that we had a reservation for two rooms. I attempted to show her my booking confirmation in Russian and English, but she wouldn’t look at it. She then left. As far as we could tell, there was no other living being on the premises, besides an enthusiastic puppy. We didn’t think the puppy would be much help, so we decided to leave.

Very good

Very nice friendly people and the room with airconditioning was very nice. Also a beautiful rooftop. Very cool artistic designs outside.

While we booked the aircon room we got the non aircon room offered first...

Good

The owner was really friendly and spoke good English. The rooms were clean and the little garden was nice. It was great being able to use the washing machine. There's a nice little terrace you can see the sunset from. It was quite quiet at night.

We had booked a triple room but when we arrived were told this was unavailable without explanation. There was then no hot water at all, and we told a member of staff and she said she would go and sort it out and come back, but she never came back and I was left sitting in my towel waiting for her for 40 mins before I gave up and had a freezing shower. The tap in the shower was also leaking which was really noisy dripping all night. We could tell this is a nice guesthouse and that we were unlucky, but the communication from the staff (other than the owner) made it more frustrating as we wasted a lot of time and ended up having a freezing shower.

Nice cozy and friendly

Friendly host, Great hospitality It is a nice cozy house located in Gori city there is a minimart just across the street. Host is very helpful and very friendly. We taste her homemade Apricot jam and bought it as well!!

Beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No card facilities. I had to draw cash from the ATM, fortunately one was located nearby.

The best deal in Gori

Pretty and spacious room, hotel quality for guesthouse price! Clean bathroom, really comfortable beds (though the double bed was 2 single beds with a little gap - we're already used to that in a lot of countries and fill it in with a towel), AC warms up the whole room quick. Shared kitchen right outside of our room was convenient. Warm welcome :) The garden must be really nice in the summer. Small corner shop right across the street. Overall, from what I've seen, this is the best place for this price in Gori.

Wi-fi didn't reach our room but worked well in the kitchen where you can sit down. It is about 20-30 minute walk to the bus station as well as the city centre. We didn't mind but some people might have to take a taxi. Perfect location if you have a car, though.
