A very very basic hotel for those on a limited budget.

I always knew that it was a basic budget hotel and that was reflected in the comparatively low price compared to other hotels. There were limited previous reviews but they were generally bad and so I was forewarned. The bed linen was clean and the small bathroom was adequate with hot water for the shower, except on the last morning. The location was excellent for the centre of Scheveningen and beach. Free wifi that actually worked well.

The reception for the hotel itself is located about 100 metres away from the hotel entrance. Very noisy on two particular nights with doors banging when multiple rooms occupied by groups or single families. Hot water not available on the last morning. Impossible to close the bathroom door when sat on the toilet. Carpet not particularly clean.

Schlimmer als auf Klassenfahrten

Für eine Nacht war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mit ca. 75€ eigentlich okay. Länger würde ich hier aber nicht bleiben wollen. Das Bett ist recht bequem und es gibt eine Klimaanlage. Auch der Strand ist schnell zu erreichen und das Einchecken ging schnell und einfach.

Es gibt keine Seife zum Händewaschen, zu wenig Handtücher für 2 Personen und das Zimmer war klein und spärlich eingerichtet. Das größte Problem sind aber die viel zu dünnen Wände wie aus Papier. Man hört jedes leise Geräusch der Straße oder im Flur. Wir hatten leider eine Gruppe asozialer Männer als Nachbarn, die die komplette Nacht lang rumgebrüllt haben und durch die dünnen Wände fühlte es sich an als wenn sie direkt neben dem Bett stehen. Dementsprechend konnte ich kein Auge zu machen.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt und nur zum Übernachten ok.

Die Lage zum Starnd war top, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind nicht im Haupthaus, hat uns aber nicht gestört, da wir das Frühstücksangebot nicht genutzt haben. Das Zimmer war sauber.

Die Betten waren viel zu weich. Der Fußboden war mit Teppich ausgelegt, im Bad an der Decke schwarze Flecken zu sehen. Die Möbel waren nicht mehr die neusten, teils kaputt (Schublade am Tisch). Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig! Die Zimmernachbarn waren gewöhnungsbedürftig. Keine eigenen Parkplätze zum Hotel, aber das Personal konnte ein Ticket für sie Straße ausstellen.

Fijn verblijf, perfecte prijs kwaliteit verhouding

Relatief lage prijs Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding Top lokatie , dicht bij het strand Vriendelijk personeel

Gezien de prijs had geen hoge verwachtingen Kamer was schoon Wel wat verouderd meubilair , maar klopt met de prijs.

Sehr wenig Schlaf!

In 5 min am Strand, das war super! Leider war gegenüber unserem Zimmer eine Bar die Abends sehr Laut war! Die Gäste die draußen saßen ließen uns bis 2 Uhr nicht schlafen. Und mit geschlossenem Fenster zu schlafen war aufgrund des muffeligem Teppichgeruchs keine Option.

Wie schon beschrieben war es draußen sehr laut. Aber auch durch die Nebenzimmer war er es sehr laut, alles war zu hören! Die ganze Nacht schrie ein Baby, jeder Gang auf dem Flur war zu hören. Wichtig! Für Menschen mit einer geh Einschränkung ist das nix! Sehr enge gefährliche Treppe!

Grote kamer

De stopcontacten werkten niet , lampen deden het niet, Balkon vies en verouderd met oude vieze stoelen. Badkamer is erg verouderd, tegels los, mist een lamellen zodat je van buiten de badkamer in kijkt, douchegordijn is vies, bad zitten scheuren in dus vol bacteriën. Handdoeken waren er niet die zaten nog in de droger. Er is geen bagageruimte zoals beschreven.

Für eine Nacht erträglich in guter Lage.

Lage

Waschbecken so unter Ablage, dass man sein Gesicht nicht waschen konnte, ohne den Boden zu fluten. Nach zuziehen der Vorhänge hängen diese 5cm über dem Kopfkissen Extrem hellhörig Schreckliches Aquarium im Eingangsbereich (klein, schnutzig) Tierschutz… Wasserkocher aber keine Tasse oder Kaffee im Zimmer

goed hotel maar wel heel basic.

hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van ontbijt. Mijn dochter moet glutenvrij en dit was daar niet mogelijk. De badkamer was oubollig maar wel schoon. De locatie is perfect vlakbij het strand.

De bladkamer was oubollig. De ontvangstlocatie was niet bepaald schoon, maar gelukkig waren de hotelkamers een klein eindje verder en die waren wel schoon. Airco in de hotelkamers zou wel fijn zijn.

Passable

Very friendly staff. Very close to the beach. Supermarket, cash mashine and any shop you need close. Great TV channels, to be precise better TV channels than most 3 and 4 star hotels in the Netherlands. The rooms are extremely clean. It's a great place if you just need a room to sleep and are outside all day or maybe a few hours there to watch TV and eat. If you want a own toilet and bathroom you need to pay a bit more... and then it's the best price here in Scheveringen, The Hague.

I had a very small room 8m² at the street and when the sun shines in you need to ask the very friendly staff for a fan, because the temperature is getting really hot in there from 10am to 6pm (10-18h). I had no own toilet. The floor of the shared toilets smell a bit and the floor of the showers are a bit dirty. They need intensive cleaning. The fact that the shared bathrooms are dirty is more so the fault of the hotel guests than of the hotel cleaning ladies.

Small and clean and walking distance to the beach

Well managed , good location and the bed linen/towels were almost brand new. Small touches like coffee in the room and a good reading light was a plus.

The room was not well insulated against noise-both from other rooms and from the outside, but nothing a pair of earplugs could not solve.

Convenient for one night

Location. Very close to Scheveningen beach

A very cheap room which is was not reflected in the price. Cleaner knocking on the door and opening it without even leaving you the time to answer as you're in. Not really great for privacy.

Comfortable bed

I stayed for two days. On the second day, I realised that my sponge had vanished from my room. My towel had been changed but my bed wasn't done. Something I couldn't understand.

It was a good stay for short period of time!

The location was great nearby a tram stop and the theatre! Not a far walk from the beach either.

The window even though closed still sounded like it was open and I could feel the cold from outside coming into the room the whole time but when asleep I didn’t feel the breeze.

- Location was great. It is near the beach area and tram - The staffs were accomodating - Basic necessities were present

- The pillows and bed were too soft. - I can hear other guests who were probably using the bathroom until 2 am - In the private bathroom, there was no floor mat or small bathroom towel for the floor. As much as I was trying to be careful, I slipped and had a bruises on my sides and back. I don't know if I broke a bone but I was able to return home with difficulties walking.

OK under the circumstances. But I would always look to stay elsewhere first.

My room and the other facilities were clean. Bedsheets and towels were clean. No nasty smells. Conversations with the owners/staff were pleasant. When the noisy neighbors were not active in the hallway, the room was quiet.

It's a long list. This location benefits from a shortage of affordable accommodation in Den Haag and surrounds, which explains why so many customers accept its shortcomings. - The price for a room without bathroom is way too high. - The room was very small (probably 10m2) and the owners' costs were obviously saved at every turn. - The steep stairs had no guardrails and the danger of falling a story seemed great. - There were no drawers to store clothes, only a narrow wardrobe with three coat hangers; the floor was oddly uneven, not in a charming way. - The desk was so small that it could hardly accommodate a laptop. - The TV remote was taped together and didn't work well, and there was no channel listing for orientation. - There was no in-room list of instructions about my stay, including Wifi and checkout times.

Very good stay with a comfortable room, bed and bathroom facilities.

We had a very secure place to park our bicycles and easy access to a key when we needed to use them to travel around town.

We had a very good stay and found nothing that we did not like.
