The location was good, a walking distance from public transport and surrounded by good restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel was under renovation and it was not clearly described on booking. Most of the facilities are not accessible due to renovation - not according to the description on booking and not according to the offer. Hotel offers gym and swimming pool but they belong oto the external company, swimming pool must be ordered in advance for 30 minutes. Wi-Fi doesn't work in the room, my kids had to seat on the floor in the hall to catch some Wi-Fi.

El personal del hotel, LO MEJOR SIN DUDA, super amables, y siempre dispuesto sa ayudar.
NOTA: Tuvimos que dejar el hotel antes por problemas de salud (se puso malo uno de mis bebes) y la noche que no disfrutamos, nos la han devuelto, dice mucho de la calidad del hotel.
A pesar de estar en una planta 7, y de tener las ventanas cerradas hermeticamente, era una habitacion ruidosa, entiendo es el precio a pagar por estar en el centro de madrid.
Mencion especial el parking, muy ratonero, muy dificil de entrar y salir, segun me comento un miembro del hotel, todos los parkings en el centro de madrid son asi, pero es algo a tener en cuenta si se decide ir.

La limpieza de la habitación regular , cuando llegué a mi habitación , al dejar mi maleta en el suelo había una nuez…
El baño muy deteriorado, la ducha el agua caliente duraba 2 minutos el resto agua fría . La alcachofa de la ducha un desastre muy antigua , para quitar el agua estaba roto el tirador.
Falta de toallas limpias , ruido por las obras y por las señoras de limpieza que de buena mañana ya están con la aspiradora y haciendo para que salgas de la habitación . Nada más sales ya están preguntando si pueden entran incluso te tocan a la puerta…
Todo esto lo comenté con uno de los chicos de la recepción y me miraba como si no entendiese el español y yo le hablara en chino .

La amplitud de la habitación y del baño.
La pena es que la mitad del hotel está en plenas obras y está la recepción y algún servicio provisional.
Según la foto de la habitación que reservamos disponía de un sofá, que desde luego no vimos.

La habitación era amplia y los colchones bien. El baño correcto pero para restaurar. La TV pequeña y lejos de la cama. No había minibar ni nevera. Recuerdo que es y cobran como 4 estrellas. A pesar de ser enero, había más de 20 grados y en la habitación daba el sol muy fuerte. Pero no había acceso a aire acondicionado para refrescar y había por lo menos 28 grados en la habitación...tampoco había posibilidad de abrir las ventanas...en fin, lo mejor ara dormir...
Importante que lo lea la dirección del hotel y los potenciales clientes claro. Llamé al hotel el día antes del checking para confirmar la reserva de 3 personas + parking, que estaba contemplada en la tarifa elegida en Booking. También pregunté por las obras que había en el hotel y su alcance para la comodidad de los clientes. La respuesta fue correcta confirmando lo reservado y asegurándome que las obras no influían para nada a los clientes. Que no había problema. Hice la petición de poder hacer el checking antes ya que llegábamos de viaje y nos apetecía cambiarnos etc...nos dijeron que harían lo posible. Ya habíamos estado en otra ocasión en este hotel, por lo que me dirigí directamente a la entrada del parking al que no se podía acceder por la obras. Desde el coche llamé al hotel y el señor de la Recepción lo puso en duda, es decir, no sabían que estaba vallada la entrada principal del parking. Me indicaron que probara por otra entrada y tuve que dar la vuelta por las calles aledañas y entrar por una entrada angosta y complicada. Lo peor es que haciendo el checking en una improvisada Recepción que ni un viejo hostal... el señor que nos atendió me dijo que no estaba incluido el parking!!....que por supuesto lo estaba y me dijo que " se lo demostrara" (vamos, que me dijo que estaba yo mintiendo y quería aprovecharme o qué es lo que quería decir? ).
El compañero con cara de mala leche con ganas de intervenir y atacar...mi mujer y mi hija alucinaron... Nunca me/nos había pasado nada igual y voy a muchos hoteles. Por supuesto les demostré la reserva con la confirmación vía mail que tenía en mi teléfono. Nos hicieron sentir fatal nada más llegar a nuestro fin de semana de turisteo por Madrid. Por supuesto no nos dieron la habitación antes de su horario oficial de checking (las 15:00h) y mi mujer les preguntó con la máxima amabilidad no merecida si nos podían aviar cuando estuviera preparada la habitación. No nos llamaron en ningún momento. Ahí no queda la cosa... en el checkout a la mañana siguiente, estaba este mismo señor con una compañera. En cuanto nos vio le hizo una señal a la compañera apuntándonos...nos dirigimos a ella para el checkout (ya estaba todo pagado en el checking) y lo primero que nos preguntó es si íbamos a sacar el coche ya o más tarde. Que si lo sacabamos más tarde teníamos que pagar la diferencia (¿?)...nunca me había pasado algo igual. Le dijimos que pagaríamos lo que nos dijeran, que no había problema. Cuando volvimos por la tarde a por el coche, había dos chicas muy amables y cuando les dijimos que nos cobraran pusieron cara de no entendernos...y nos dijeron que no había nada que pagar...
En resumen, el hotel no es nada recomendable en este momento por las obras, que son muy grandes e importantes. Los servicios del hotel muy mermados y no están la altura de un hotel de 4 estrellas. Pero así lo cobran. Y estos 2 recepcionistas, nos trataron mal. Nos disgustaron mucho. Espero que la dirección del hotel sepa y quiera valorar mis palabras para mejorar. Lo siento, muy mal.

Localización céntrica, fuera de zona de exclusión de tráfico y por tener parking propio con acceso directo a recepción.
Están fusionando dos hoteles (o eso parece y renovando el original hotel Princesa Plaza con lo que se usa el otro, aún no renovado, pero comunicado, y con menos instalaciones.
Cuando acaben las obras, espero que vuelvan a su estándar de superior calidad.
Pero para mis necesidades funcionales de rápido acceso y salida de Madrid por esa zona de Moncloa/Argüelles, es muy recomendable. Incluso en obras en una parte.
Las obras no se aprecian ni molestan en el interior del hotel. Están en otras zonas no accesibles salvo que la entrada provisional es otra menos suntuosa por ahora.

Comme d'habitude, d'abord la gentillesse, la disponibilité et le professionnalisme de tout le personnel (réception, ménage,....) !
La localisation géographique par rapport au centre ville, l'environnement de magasins, restaurants, métro,....dans ce quartier classe, à la fois calme et vivant, bref à peu près tous les critères habituels de notation, d'où un Nième séjour ici !
Une immense salle de gym super équipée, exceptionnelle;
Proposition spontanée et généreuse de me rembourser une nuitée en raisin d'un départ prématuré imprévu de ma part un jour plus tôt !
Malheureusement, bien que client très régulier et très satisfait de l'hôtel, le séjour a été énormément "gâché" en raison d'un environnement triste et fantomatique consécutif à de gros travaux (bar-restaurant fermé, grand hall de la réception déserté) ayant débuté dès le lendemain de mon arrivée, et ce pour plusieurs mois. Cela enlevant ainsi toute l'animation et l'ambiance chaleureuses faisant le charme de l'hôtel et incitant à y séjourner.....et ceci sans discount malgré ce "préjudice" lié à ces travaux, surtout sans en avoir été clairement prévenu à l'avance depuis la réalisation de ma réservation !!!

Ubicación, amabilidad y atención del personal, el aseo a las habitaciones y el desayuno bufet, a pesar de que iniciaban una intervención mayor en la mayor parte de las instalaciones del hotel
El cierre de los accesos principales y ciertas áreas del hotel, el cambio de la recepción y la entrada implementada, pequeña y un poco dificultosa para personas mayores, pero finalmente funcional, y la relativa incomodidad que produce la intervención de esta magnitud, la cual se debería haber comunicado con anterioridad al hacer la reserva e incidir sobre el precio de estancia, pero en general muy bien. Nos enteramos de la venta o cambio de dueños del hotel a la cadena Marriott, será un hecho importante, y esperemos que no impacte sobremanera el futuro costo para acceder a sus instalaciones.

Die Lage ist nicht schlecht, das Hotel hat einen eigenen Bereich in der Tiefgarage (27€/Tag). Eingangsbereich/Rezeption imposant. Sicherheitspersonal vorhanden.
Der Pool gehört eigentlich nicht zum Hotel, sondern zum Fitnessstudio und kann nur Mo.-Fr. 9-9.30, 12.30-14 und 19-21 Uhr, Sa. 10-14 und 18-21 Uhr, So. 10-14 Uhr nach vorheriger Anmeldung genutzt werden. Das erfährt man aber erst an der Rezeption und spezifischer Nachfrage. Die Zimmer sind groß, aber kalt leer und ungemütlich, da wohl gerade renoviert wird, kann ich akzeptieren, aber nicht zu diesem Preis.

During my stay in Madrid with my two kids my family and I have been very disappointed with our stay here.
Firstly, upon arrival we were stared down by security (on multiple occasions, staring as if they have never seen Black people). As we approached the reception desk a staff member treated us with such disrespectful attitude the way she treats people of color in comparison to White people in this hotel is despicable. She is a racist. As a Black family in a foreign country we hoped to find comfort in our hotel which we have paid a substantial amount for.
My son politely asked for the directions to connecting to the Wifi and Isa snatched his phone from his hand and pointed out the Wifi, proceeding to say, “Do you understand now?” with such a rude attitude. I cannot stress my frustration with her service, and disrespectful regards towards us.
Additionally, we understood that check in was not available until 3pm, so we asked to store our luggage with the hotel so we can continue about our day. Isa’s attitude when taking our luggage was incredibly rude. I myself have worked in the hotel/service industry for several years and I have never seen such disrespect from an employee.
Not only was the service from her upsetting, when we entered our room we found everything good until we found potato chips on the floor near the window. Additionally, I tried to iron a white dress shirt but the iron had green residue on it and stained my dress.This I understand could be a mistake, yet for the amount that we paid we expected a better stay. Moreover, the Wifi did not reach our room, each time we needed internet we were forced to go downstairs to the lobby.
Before coming here, we stayed at a beautiful hotel in Valencia, Spain, and this unfortunately was a major downgrade. Our experience at Hotel Princesa Plaza was a 0/10, and we were expecting so much better.
I hope this feedback is made to good use as racism should never be tolerated specially in hotels.

THE STAFF ARE VERY NICE,THE LOCATION IS SUPERB.. BREAKFAST IS LOVELY . My family stayed in the hotel for 5 night..booked 3 rooms..only have 1 day chance to swim in the swimming pool..very disappointed .. you must book and always fully booked.
The swimming 🏊♀️ pool does not belong to the hotel... just a pictures..you have to book for swimming..30 minutes is only allowed. My kids were disappointed..
