Superb

Hosts were very flexible for check-in. Our car hire was late from Oslo which had a knock-on effect on our drive to Skahjem Gard. We phoned the hosts and informed them and they satyed up to check us in late at around 10 pm. Location is nothing short of spectacular!! Highly recommended.

Guests should bring own shampoo/shower gels. However, there are options to purchase this from the reception which is not a bad thing. We were prepared with this so all good for us.

Relaxed and quiet. Good location for fjord adventures.

Compact studio apartment with everything we needed for cooking simple meals. We were able to purchase some breakfast supplies, including local foods, on arrival with a discount applied by hosts. Helpful information on local activities and also traffic information when we got stuck on the wrong side of a tunnel due to an accident.

Two single beds pushed together instead of a double bed. Might have been nice to have a comfy sitting area / sofa.

Look no further - best place in Flåm area for a very reasonable price!

This place is a gem. It was one of the cheapest we stayed in Norway and yet one of the best. We stayed in the small studio and everything was great. Simple but very functional and very comfortable. There is everything to cook a homemade meal, the cooking stove was very fast which we were very happy and surprised about, there was plenty of hot water, the beds were super comfortable and there was even an alcove that could easily fit a third adult or children. Inge, the host, was soooo nice and gave us so many helpul tips for the area - really appreciated. He was also super accommodating - we needed ice for our wine and he brought us some. We had dinner in the garden overlooking the mountains, it was lovely. I read some comments that complained about the noise - for us it was not a problem at all. The small studio does not have direct neighbors next door or above so super silent (and anyway we use earplugs so we don't really care). All in all it was a fantastic and homey stay and we would come back in a heartbeat if ever in the region again. Tusen takk Inge, det var hyggelig og vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Very pleasant stay at Aurland Flam area! Very nice host!!

Very friendly host helpful and very good knowledge about the area giving tips! Our room had all necessary equipment and we thought wy did`nt we stay another night. Very good recommendation to stay in the Aurland area!!

Located in beatiful surroundings near Aurland. Close to Flåm and the Stegastein!

The rooms were VERY noisy. If someone in the house (another appartment) was going tot the toilet or took a shower, we could hear everything. Cheap materials were used to convert the house to this appartment-house. Also a very low sink and cooking equipment and we are not even that tall (183cm).

Thank you for the lovely stay!

We had a very nice welcome, lots of tips and information from the host about the area. The house was super tidy and clean and had an amazing view over the valley.

Nice location, beautiful scenery. But it's not enough

The location of the accommodation was good and the surrounding scenery was so beautiful. And it was convenient because the mart was 5 minutes away by car.

Cleaning the bathroom and bathroom could have been cleaner. There is a kitchen, but basic spices such as salt and oil were not prepared. And there was no soap, shampoo. There was no information that there also was no them. If I had known beforehand, I could have prepared them. There was an oven, but it was not cleaned, so I couldn't use it.

We had a fantastic stay there. We were travelling in public transportation, sometimes difficult to manage luggage and long walks The owner was really kind with us, he received us whe we arrived early in the morning to store our luggage and he drove us back to Aurland, as we were short of time for an excursion.

It's far from the center.

Quiet area. Close to Flåm. Beautiful surroundings. Nice garden on the property with the possibility to grill. Friendly staff.

Short stopover

Location was beautiful and only 15 minute drive from Flåm. Room was clean and comfy. The black out blinds were a god send. The bed was very comfy.

Only stayed one night with 3 of us in the room. I think any longer would have been a struggle as the bathroom was in the bedroom.

good place if you only intend to sleep there

The yard with blooming trees. The water pressure is fantastic. The heating system worked very good, too. It is a farm, the owner was driving tractors around. My little son like them very much. The owner himself is a very interesting person to talk to.

The apartment #6 was a bit too small for 4 adults and one little baby.
