Nestled in Richmond, this lovely condo for R 4,995 per night is a great option for your next break. Stunning 2 bedroom apartment on a very quiet street in Richmond. The apartment was modernized in 2016 to the highest standard. The beautiful oak floors throughout the entire apartment are underfloor heated, giving a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The main bedroom is bright and airy and features a super-king sized bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The luxurious open-plan kitchen and breakfast room has Italian granite work surfaces and a breakfast bar. The bathroom is a walk-in wet room and also features underfloor heating. The living room is comfortable with a large sofa which converts to a very comfortable sofa bed with a proper sprung mattress, giving plenty of space for two persons. It is a fabulous place from which to enjoy all the benefits of Richmond – from the fantastic cafes and shopping, to Richmond Park, to Kew Gardens and of course the convenience of the quick rail links into central London. After an active day in Richmond or seeing the sights in London, it’s the perfect place to retreat to: quiet and calm but with all the amenities of Richmond and Kew. Single travellers, couples or families are all welcome! Nearby: Richmond Station is only a few minutes walk away, and provides three services: the traditional London Underground (25 – 30 mins into the centre), The London Overground (25 mins to North London / Hampstead), and regular train services either into Waterloo (20 mins) or out of London to wherever you wish to go! All services are safe, clean and efficient. Richmond Centre (5 mins walk) is an open market of high-class boutiques and brand-name stores, as well as a huge range of cafes, tea-houses, gastro-pubs, bars and award-winning restaurants. It would be impossible to sample them all, but we have listed some here that our clients enjoy and find useful. The Red Cow pub. The White Horse. The Dragon Inn – a great Chinese restaurant. The Alberts Deli – great for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, as well as an (early!) evening meal. Waitrose – The UK’s most up-market supermarket. Patisserie Valerie – tea, cakes and more cakes! Whole Foods Market – a huge multilevel delicatessen focused on healthy food – well worth a browse. Tesco supermarket. The six-screen Odeon Cinema. The Britannia pub. Gelateria Danieli – home made ice cream. La Buvette – traditional French cuisine. Matsuba – Japanese cuisine / sushi bar. So Bar Richmond – a cozy cocktail bar – open until late. Butter Beans – small but utterly lovely coffee shop, also serving great breakfast and lunch food. Tucked right next to Richmond Station. The pancakes with maple syrup are divine. The Shaftesbury. Valentina Fine Foods – great Italian delicatessen and coffee shop in Sheen. The White Swan – great gastropub overlooking the Thames. The Botanic Gardens in Kew.

We were delighted with our stay here at the end of our recent road trip around the UK. It was exactly as pictured, very clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The off-street parking was a bonus and the location, within walking distance of Richmond, very convenient.

This place was perfect for a London Christmas - absolutely spotless, lots of thoughtful touches and very comfortable beds. We really enjoyed the neighbourhood and links into Waterloo were speedy and frequent. We were 24 hours late arriving due to a wildcat Eurostar strike and the very thoughtful owner even offered a part refund for the first night - a very kind gesture indeed.

Transportation:
10-16 minute walk to Richmond station depending on your speed. It took a total of 20-30 minutes into central London.
Apt itself: Well kept with attention to detail. Immaculate when we arrived. If you like nice dishes nice everything it’s a great place.

The location was great if you enjoy Richmond. It is a short walk to the train station. The property was clean, had everything needed for a week stay and check-in/check-out was easy. There are several places to eat within 200 meters and a great pub similarly close.

The heated floors and heated towel rack were so nice. The location is ideal. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but a very short walk to shops and pubs. The only thing we missed was coffee pods but there were so many great coffee shops around that we didn’t miss it for long.

We attended a wedding at Kew, so the location was perfect. Walking distance to the Kew Lion Gate. Twin room was great for the kids and next door to the main bedroom & bathroom. Owner was easy to contact and very helpful.

What a lovely apartment! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Excellent location in Richmond, within walking distance of all the sights…Richmond Park, the Thames tow path and Kew Gardens. Inside is lovely Outside needs help!
When we pulled up to the house, I thought we had the wrong address. The front yard was full of very high weeds plus paper and debris trash around the front door and bushes. The front door as well as the hall way needs a coat of paint plus a new rug on the stairs. However, when we entered the apartment door we found a very lovely, clean and well appointed apartment. Chris was very helpful.

Our family loved this flat! Originally our 2 boys were going to share the room w the twin beds but they started to fight so I was thrilled the front room sofa converted to a bed. No more fighting! Shower was lovely and the master bed was amazing. Great place!

Another great stay
This is our second stay at Chris’s place and we really like it! It’s clean, comfortable and in a perfect location, near the centre of Richmond and the train station. Chris is a great host, very responsive to any questions and helpful. This is now our go-to-place when coming to London 😀

The flat is beautifully presented with a huge bed in the main bedroom and a great twin which is perfect for kids as it’s not under the upper flat. The flat has double glazing throughout which minimises the tube and plane noise and keeps the flat nice and cosy (along with the underfloor heating). Off street parking was a real bonus for us! All in all, a fantastic flat, hosted by a very helpful Christopher, in a great location- can’t recommend highly enough and would definitely stay there again! Thank you

Great property in excellent location. Quick walk to train, bus and cafes. Communication with owner was excellent had a small issue during stay and he sorted asap. Perfect size for a family of four (2 adults / 2 kids).

Overall a very well kept and very clean apartment. There are 2 rooms which suits 4 people ., any more might be a little cramped. The kitchen is small but clean and there are so many restaurants in Richmond area we never cooked , though a microwave would be handy .Chris was very helpful and available by text or email if needed. Yes there is noise from the trains and planes to Heathrow but with windows closed it’s not an issue . It was a warm week but Chris has provided some really good fans which worked well for us. Close enough to London but also a short drive to Windsor and other out of town sites . We had a great few days here so thanks again.

Great Location for Richmond and getting around and into London Central. Enough around Richmond to do. Plenty of shops and places to eat in close walking distance
Flat is in residential area on 2nd Floor, its clean nicely done up and perfect for weekend or just slightly longer vacay.
Could be done with a dishwasher.....

Comfortable property well placed for shops and trains in Richmond
The property is decorated and fitted to a high level which comfortable beds and sofas. The shower was excellent, Good TV and Wifi. There were 2 of us and it was just right, I would wonder if there were more than this number for a period of time it might seem rather crowded.
We were unable to locate the manuals for the washing machine, oven and heating but managed with some help from Christopher re the heating. The kitchen would benefit from a small microwave and a new non-stick milk saucepan! Minor quibbles from a splendid 10 day stay.

A nice place to stay
What you see is what you get. Plenty of room for a family in a lovely, well appointed and decorated and furnished to a very high standard 2 bedroomed apartment. The area is just great, safe to walk about in with loads of food and drink options. We highly recommend Pier 1 for the best fish and chips served with brio by wonderful staff. There are lots of shops too.
Chris, the owner is great to deal with and you get the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. All in all a great stay

A lovely flat in a great location.
The apartment is beautifully renovated. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is great. There were only 2 of us, but the flat easily could accommodate 4 people. Richmond is a lovely town with great transportation to London. We chose to rent a car to explore places like Salisbury and the Cotswolds and took the train into London on other days. If you don’t have a car, be prepared to walk 10-15 minutes to the train/underground. Some shops and restaurants are close, although Richmond is a big (and charming) town. Chris, the owner, was terrific and very helpful

Fabulous apartment in Richmond
Christopher Barnard was at the apartment when we arrived and helped us unload the car for our 4 night stay at his beautifully furnished apartment. We were treated to a huge bowl of fresh fruit in the open plan kitchen, which has fabulous marble worktops. The whole apartment was bright, clean, light and airy and the photographs on HomeAway give an accurate picture of this cosy flat.
We really felt we were staying in a "home" rather than in an "anonymous" flat which was solely furnished for short term lets.
Highly recommend this delightful 2 bed apartment, it's location within walking distance of Richmond, and the very professional and efficient way Chris handled all communications.
Thanks Chris for creating such a lovely ambiance in your apartment--we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice, Updated Flat near Richmond Station
We rented this flat for 8 days, and it worked out well.. has modest kitchen, and updated bath. Good WiFi and 10 minute walk to Tube/Rail... Quiet Street.

Wonderful Flat in Richmond!
We had a great stay in the flat! It was all recently renovated -- the kitchen and bathroom were top notch. The entire flat was decorated beautifully (just as it shows in the pictures). It's located on a quiet street -and just a 5-10 minute walk from all the stores in Richmond. Chris was wonderful to work with, making sure we were all set with our plans prior to our trip and upon arrival showed us around the flat and made sure we had his contact information if we needed to reach him during our stay! He goes above and beyond...
