Lots odd space with a beautiful view.

Fantastic views of Lake Pukaki and the snow peaks.

Smelt a bit musty. I wish we had been told about the creaking at the time of booking as it was quite loud during the night.

Amazing lakeside cottage.

It was amazing.

A washing machine would be great but not sure where it could go. It's really a tiny thing. You can organise it but since we were gone most of the days hiking etc we did not want to disturb the main house.

Beautiful views, spacious, unique and accommodating house. Perfect for a family, close to Mt Cook.

Beautiful location - right on Lake Pukaki. The house was very spacious, clean and accommodating. Plenty of space for a family.

It was a bit cold. We had the split systems running, but was a bit chilly. Would need to make sure to run a few space heaters to stay extra warm.

A very comfortable cottage with a terrific lake view.

The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean.

We didn't receive the door code prior to arrival. The cleaner let us in. The cottage is in close proximity to the house - something we did not grasp when booking.

Spectacular lakeside views including amazing stargazing!

Spacious and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen, complete with cooking utensils which lured us to actually cook a sumptuous grilled lamb chop dinner for ourselves! Good choice of coffee. Went on a stroll and hand picked sweet wild blackberries nearby.

Not recommended if you want a good sleep.

The location has spectacular views. It would be good for dark sky watching but it was cloudy when we stayed.

The house is a Lockwood and it creaked and cracked all through the night so we did not get a good night's sleep. We planned on using the laundry. It was in the garage. Don't know when the garage was last cleaned and it had far too many spider webs for comfort so we didn't use it. Also the side door to the garage had been left wide open, no sign of the hosts. Luckily I noticed the open door when I was checking the laundry.

Accomodation with the fantastic view, nice bathroom and easy access

Location with the stunning view of Pukaki Lake, night sky and sunset, nice new bathroom, outside sitting places

The cottage was bit stinky, like old houses - all windows were opened when we checked in, so quite a few bugs was inside.

location was perfect, right in the middle of Mt Cook and lake Tekapo. The view from the deck and front of the house was beautiful, it can’t get any better that that. I can just look at lake pukaki the whole day. House was clean and the resident dog who visited us “Harry” was the sweetest. Communication with the property admins were easy and great.

Very minor but a dishwasher and laundry would be nice for longer stays. Given we only stayed 2 nights it did not really matter. Might be different it we were a larger group but it was just me and my husand.

The perfect lakeside stay

The cottage we stayed in was even more beautiful than we had seen in pictures! Although we didn't meet any staff, they were accommodating and helpful over messages. The views from the cottage are second to none and I wish we could've stayed longer!

You will not regret staying at this fabulous location. The views are outstanding, the cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for an extended stay (as we found out thanks to covid!). The people were absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more accommodating. The cottage was very clean and the daily visit from Harry, the local golden retriever just topped it all off. Bring your togs if you are here in summer, the lakeshore is just a short walk away.

Great location and happy to have the kitchen. Will try to book with a larger group next time.

We had a wee issue with getting the keys out of the lockbox. We arrived, as expected, between 930 and 10 pm but there were no lights where the lockbox was located. We managed to get the car headlights aimed in the general direction, but when the box opened the keys fell out. Unfortunately, they dropped through the deck slats and despite crawling under the deck my partner was unable to locate them in the dark. Fortunately, a window was open and we were able to climb through... We don't have mobile phones and had no way of establishing contact. Some advice - leave the outside lights lit when you know guests are arriving after dark, and consider a doormat under the lock box. We moved the table underneath it after our "event".
