Clean room, good location for walking not good traveling by car or if climbing stairs is a problem

Room was clean

No windows in room(only a small skylight in ceiling), Approximately 50 stair steps up to B&B, Finding a public parking spot nearby was nearly impossible(250 meter walk from public parking lot to B&B, $15 Euros for public parking 24 hrs), Breakfast was an extra charge. Housekeeping knocked on door at 9AM to clean room.

Everything about this place was just perfect. The location is just a few minutes from the centro. Parking a few steps away. Actually used EasyPark to park daily. We were 2 families and booked 3 rooms. Just the right size for us. Rooms were cleaned every day, and we enjoyed our morning breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Our host Valentina was there every morning to make sure that all is okay. Just the nicest person. For those who don't like stairs , maybe not for you. The rooms are several flights of steps up. But really not an issue. I'd you plan to be in Ortigia , think about staying here. Perfect

Mixed feelings

It had a beautiful, artistic feel and the towels are shaped like two swans =).

There was no window or any airway and there was this distinctive aroma spread in the room that me, as an asthmatic could not stand at all and my non-astmatic daughter found kinda annoying. The staff was fast to answer my messages though. She told me that they had sent me pictures of the room, proving they didn't lie about offering a room with a window. However i didn't see any such pictures of the room when i was booking it. So I expected it would have a window.

Good location.

Breakfast on rooftop first day, in our room second day due to rain. The hostess very gracious.

No Elevator. Stairs too much for seniors!

it would be nice to have some coffee/tea in the room, there was only one teabag for two nights... 🤫 also the room was beautiful, but much smaller then mentioned and the window was very small

Lots of stairs to the apartment, and more to the terrace. Not a nice entrance, but all very good once inside the apartment.

It's a great location overlooking the harbour/sea and around the corner from the terrific market. It's an atmospheric old building which the b&b shares with apartments, so for the foreign visitor there's a sense of being close to Sicilian life. My single room was a large attic with limited window light but ideal for me. Christina was a delightful and informative host and made the stay all the more enjoyable. A good breakfast is served on a rooftop terrace when the weather is kind and in your room when it isn't. The setting couldn't be better for exploring Ortigia, Siracusa's ancient quarter - a mixture of fabulous squares, grand and intimate, and a labyrinth of thoroughfares. Be sure to get a map!

For those with mobility issues, this b&b is not for you. You're on top floors of the building with no lift and plenty of stairs to climb. That apart, I would highly recommend staying here.

Outstanding B&B with the nicest person running it. The rooms are clean and perfectly located at the entrance to Ortigia . The breakfast on the terrace … it’s a different level. A really nice view combined with a great breakfast. We can recommend this B&B without any doubt!

Fire trap

The air con works.

The photos are deceptive and high rating is deceptive. This b&b hostel is in the back attic area of nice old balcony building you see in the photos. After pressing in your key code and climbing 2-4 flights of stairs and then are directed to a back external area then up another set of glass steps with no handrail. The room doors are light weight sliding doors and wouldn't meet hotel safety fire standards. The single room I paid 60 euro for had tiny opaque windows that could only be partially opened. The room had smoke detectors but my concern was fire safety and being able to evacuate safely. I mentioned my concerns to the manager who said they had extinguishers and smoke detectors and they couldn't give me a refund. I left after 30 minutes and checked back into my previous hotel. This place needs a fire safety audit.

Very good

The location was great and was within minutes walking distance to the main streets of Ortigia. The host communicated well and was very responsive throughout my stay.

I never got to meet anyone at the accommodation which would’ve been nice.

Cozy Clean and Perfect Location!

Amazing location. Comfy and clean; great shower, too! Cute area for breakfast in the morning. Treated with friendliness and genuine interest. Wonderful way to feel welcomed to the area! Location is right at the heart of the fun hustle and bustle of the market area. 100 % returning!

Great location to visit Ortigia. Very easy to find. Cristina was very helpful prior to our arrival texting us all the info to check in. And Valentina was a Lovely hostess during our stay. Thank you both 😁 We can’t comment on the breakfast as they start doing it in May. Very comfortable bed ! Lovely room.

something to be aware off, it’s a busy island. We were there at the weekend, quite a bit of street noise, so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. It worked for us.

Excellent Bed & Breakfast In Great Location; Definitely Recommend!

This is a wonderful little place! Our room was beautiful, a very nice size, the bed comfortable with nice linens, the bathroom well-equipped with a huge shower, quality towels, and all the little toiletries. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with many options and excellent coffee (something I look for in a good bed and breakfast!). There is a beautiful terrace (accessed by all units) where they serve breakfast each morning, and the view of the ocean from there is amazing. We were rained out the first day, so they brought breakfast to our room! The pastries were so good, there was fresh fruit, cheeses, and many other goodies. I would definitely stay here again.

There are lots of stairs to access the unit, which we knew ahead of time, but could be a challenge for some. There is a bit of noise from the street, so if you're a light sleeper this could be problematic. There are even more stairs to access the terrace for breakfast, I actually preferred the first day when they brought it to our room. The parking is challenging.

Very nice B&B; clean rooms, nice host and perfect location. The self check-in is easy and doesn't stress you to be on time :) Breakfast on the top roof is a really cool bonus.

Poor

Location was good.

Mattress was not comfortable, the noise from the rooms next to us. Breakfast was so so …. The several stairs to bring up the suitcases, the €15 parking and the dead cockroaches in the hall when you enter the building.
