Very nice hostel with big rooms and great location

The location was very good, about 5 minutes walking from the station and the city centre. The rooms were very big and there were extra places around the hostel with nice places to sit and chill. The breakfast was really good.

It was a bit noisy, you can hear cars outside and people talking in the hallway. But it was quiet enough to sleep well.

Nice city hostel

very clean hostel. easy to find, easy to enter. sent a code and information how to get the key. we saw the staff only at breakfast, in the evening in the hostel only guests. Good hostel breakfast with waffles and pastries. the shared showers and toilets are clean, there is a kitchen and common seating areas.

Only twin rooms, not possible to book a room with one big bed.

Excellent value for money in downtown Umeå.

Clean room with new furniture. Great (included) breakfast. Directly opposite the railway station and walking distance to many restaurants. Shared bathrooms was fine with us as well.

Good value for money hostel with excellent breakfast!

- Fantastic breakfast, everything was great and we especially loved the freshly baked bread, chilli ginger shots and making our own waffles (plus topping them with jam and whipped cream). The food was perfect and on the morning of our departure we were delighted by the generous and delicious breakfast bags we had requested because we were catching an early train. - The bathroom and shower were shared (as expected) but a bonus was that the room had its own little sink. Perfect for brushing teeth and for drinking water, this made a big difference. - Friendly and helpful staff, we requested to change room due to the positioning of the room facing a noisy street and the staff obliged with no fuss. We really appreciated it. - Well equipped guest kitchen, great to be able to store food in the fridge and heat up meals. - The location is perfect. Close to the town centre and extremely close to the train station. - Fresh and clean room, bed, linen and towels. Beds a little on the soft side due to the base being a bit squishy rather than firm - could be positive or negative depending on your preference. - The whole place was very quiet, we didn't hear doors opening or closing and slept very well. - It was easy to check in and out independently with a code to collect the keys and a return slot when departing.

- Not much really, we felt we got good value for money and can warmly recommend the hostel. - The reception opening hours are a bit limited but that didn't affect us (and they seem to have a 24/7 number for emergencies anyway). - Bring your own eye mask if you visit in summer as the curtains weren't proper blackout curtains and obviously the days are really long so it could otherwise be hard to get to sleep. Would also be convenient to bring flip flops for the shared shower.

Not an obviout tourist destination, but certainly a nice place, multinational spot, friedly people.

Great breakfast. Very pleasant dining room. Getting around the city with a city App to buy tickets - easy and convinient. Sunshine every day breking stereotypes about the north.

Checking in was confusing at first. We booked a while in advance and had trouble finding the check in tips at arrival. However, we managed so all in all it went ok, yet a short note of instruction at the door might have helped.

This was my 3rd stay in the pet-friendly room

Great breakfast buffett with many things to choose from, inclusing self-made waffles + toppings, very attentive and friendly service The pet-friendly room is located directly at the back entrance, with towels for cleaning paws provided and also everything (!) else that you need for your dog, I've never been to a hotel/hostel providing that good service and am very thankful for this warm and practical welcome. Even with fresh water in the water bowl. Very much appreciated by my dog, too :)

Convenient but pricey for what you get.

Good location and cute traditional Swedish interior. Great to have a sauna on site - easy to use and clean. Slow Wi-Fi during some of our stay.

Basic accommodation with shared toilet. Small beds. Lamp shades above the beds were inconvenient (you could hit your head on them!). Although some of the decor had a nice cosy old-fashioned vibe, the place also felt tired and dated.
