Jeder Zeit gern wieder

Der Ausblick von unserer Terrasse war der absolute Traum. Das Apartment war gut ausgestattet und bot sehr viel Platz. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Lage grandios, wenn auch die Autoeinfahrt eine absolute Herausforderung war.

Es gab nichts was uns nicht gefallen hat. Wir würden das Apartment genauso noch einmal buchen.

Peaceful and serene. Gorgeous views of ocean and sunset!

Good location, quiet. good size for 1-2 people. comfortable stay. Dishes and silverware were available. Beach, grocery store and gas stations were in decent proximity. Garry, the property manager, was awesome!

Brush around pool could have been cut back. There wasnt a clear view of ocean from pool. Couch was covered in dirt. I had to dust off the cusions before I could sit on it. A roach ran past me in the house on the first day. Random cat ran through the house all week. Tea pot and coffee maker had bugs inside. TV remote didnt work so couldnt use the tv for most of the week. Could have used a few more kitchen utensils, cutting board, and such. Bath towels were like using sand paper. Neighbor down the hill was incredibly rude. He blocked the road while he was chit chatting with another driver and laid on his horn at 12 at night which caused me to drop the keys between the seat. Apparently I couldnt find them soon enough because he continued to lay on the horn and then yelled at me when we drove past.

Schöne moderne Wohnung. Schönes Grundstück mit Pool. Ruhige Lage.

Bett ist klein, hätte man ein größeres super hinbekommen. Sauberkeit des Pools war okay.

The view was great, the apartment was very clean and very well-equipped. The bed was comfortable. Would recommend!

The pool wasn't "open" during my stay, but it didn't bother me too much so I didn't ask about it. There would be a lot of worms on the outside of the house when the sun wasn't shining. It is in nature, so it's normal but still a bit grim. The worms didn't get inside the apartment though!

Everything was really nice: comfortable and spacious duplex, nice swimming pool, BBQ place and a very supportive manager Garry. But the best - a breathtaking view from the terrace. And of course - a little cat 😜

Beautiful clean apartment with the best view ever

The view is staggering, apartment is spacious, very comfortable and clean.

The automatic gates closes very quickly, has no moving detector. While driving out from the parking smashed our car.

really relaxed place with amazing views. easy to pop into Calheta or back to Funchal.

great views, clean and reasonably private. nice terrace, good living/kitchen area. note there is a micro awe but no oven. Nice shares swimming pool with 3 other apartments. interesting steep lane down to property! we drove down once but left car at top of 50m slope in convenient park spot. Good manager (Garry)who fixed anything v quickly and welcomed us with cake and Madeira wine! Try the para gliding up above (we did and great fun). also Scuba out of Calheta good team but viz average when we visited. Try restaurant Manufactura da Gelato in Calheta. Italian style excellent food and service - best to book. good supermarket and ATM in Calheta. try Levada walking at 25 Fontes above the apartment. excellent stay. will try to come again.

Spectacular view! Friendly owner..apartment is very clean.

The road to apartment's is very steep and for the uninitiated it is quite frightening to drive as it is difficult to back up and the road is close to cliff.. We parked at top of road..very challenging to walk with luggage or groceries. There was no oven as listed.

a great getaway - for independent travel and relaxing views!

fab views, great beds, modern decor. the mini split was much appreciated! the bathroom gets cold!!! a little heater might help. the pool was lovely as well. we had man dinners at the table but the bbq - nice homey feel

we needed more patio furniture! two tiny tables and two chairs on that huge balcony was calling for outdoor living furniture. one more sofa in the living room as well. we booked with another couple in the studio apartment and could not all sit together to relax (other than the kitchen table). car rental is mandatory…should be clear to renters

sofa was stained, difficult access both by road and once parked, confusing desription on line and pool furniture was appropriated to other flats so there was no where to sit and hence unable to use the pool, a primary reason for booking this accommodation and price.

some might worry about the drive down the last 50 mtrs but it is easy and not as steep as it looks !

Worth the money, good location on the Island

-Amazing view -Apartment was just like in the photos, pretty, safe -Quiet and peaceful (except upstairs neighbours) -Very clean, lovely property -The host, Garry, was super friendly and helpful, speaks good english -easy accsess to main roads and locations, best weather on the island -The Island itself was breathtakingly beautiful -Good tv with international channels -Kitchen had everything we needed -Very good WiFi inside the apartment and terrace, not so good at the pool -3km to Calheta, big grocery and many restaurants

-The driveway to the house is really narrow and really steep. Like seriously. Also the parking lot is very small. We kept our car up at the road and walked the 150-200 meter driveway up and down few times a day. Good exercise :) -You are totally dependent on your car, not any restaurants nearby, or anything else. The streets are so steep so impossible to walk anywhere, unless you're a real athlete :) -Better curtains would be nice. They don't block any sunlight. Also you could see straight to our apartment from the pool area, had to be careful when changing clothes. - Short written instructions how to use the microwave, Coffee machine etc would be nice -Recommend to keep the air pump on atleast few hours a day (removes the moist air) and outdoor closed, otherwise the cockroaches will keep you company. Heard them in the night but saw only one, thankgod -Could not use the pool, the water was freezing

Nice view but cockroaches and strangers entering your room

Nice view, great pool, large apartment

Be careful if you stay here, real state agents with their clients show up and enter the rented apartments without asking for permission (yes with all your valuables inside). I even overheard one of them saying: “let’s hope the guest don’t show up, it would be a weird situation”. Also big cockroach problem, they kept crawling through the apartment (you can hear them at nigh inside your bedroom), even after the person in charge used pesticides.

Great location. Be aware that there is an adventure getting into the parking area. The roads in Madeira are very steep, so might be a challenge to park.

Some basic things (no soap for instance) forgotten to be replaced. Shower water drain not flowing properly. Uncomfortable chairs.

A little touch of maintenance necessary and it would be perfect vacation home.

Nice apartment with stunning views of the sea, pool and bbq area. Comfortable bed, open plan livingroom and the kitchen, big terrace. Host was helpful on arrival day when I got lost and he shown us the way to our apartment. We just followed his car.

Lack of toiletries in the bathroom (just liquid soap),lack of anti slip mat in the shower cabin, broken mirror over the basin. In the kitchen- lack of sponges,wipes,paper towels (just washing up liquid). To many spider's webs on the terrace on arrival day.
