Rain, shine, fog, storm, this house offers awesome views, warmth and security. Lots of "conversation spaces" to hang out and relax inside and outside. Lower floor is an entire suite so couples or families with kids can have their own area to hang out.
Would love to know the story on the design of this home as there are few if any right angles. :) The first night we arrived we couldn't get the fireplace to work and within a half hour they had a handyman come out and fix it. We'd definitely recommend this beautiful home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Not only did we enjoy the sea views, but also enjoyed watching the deer, hawks, and other birds around the house. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the hot tub was really enjoyable and also with a sea view. Dillon Beach is really great, and we loved exploring the Tomales Bay area. Highly recommend Tony's and the Meadery!
Only negative would be that there aren't any screens on the big sliding doors that lead out to the deck, and none of the big windows can open either so it sometimes felt a bit stuffy. Regardless, we'd still come back in future.

The location was good. The home is a bit unusual with all the angles but works for the main level. Going downstairs the steps were deigned on an angle too, which is dangerous! The bedroom downstairs is some what claustrophobic in nature and the additional Hide-a-Bed was bad! Some of the windows & sliding doors would not open, or were very difficult to open. Many of the windows and glass doors were filthy. The driveway was steep, narrow & curved making it difficult to get in & out. Kitchen clean! If I were to rate this house on a 1 to 10 scale, I would give the upstairs a 7 & the downstairs a 3. We are all around 70 in age and would not rent this again but a younger group would be more comfortable with the many stairs...

Excellent stay in general. Clean inside & good kitchen, minus the super old herbs that should probably be tossed.
Wonderful views, especially upstairs bedroom. Lots of outdoor areas. Great house for dog, outdoor shower perfect for hairy/sandy dog rinsing. Concrete “atrium” for drying in the sun. Never seen so many doors (and light switches) which was convenient but door jams could do with a quick cobweb sweep. Never did find the trailhead but $10 a day beach pass (weekdays) worked well. Very unique space which grew on us daily. I would suggest the entry/driveway be shown some love, and the compost can be emptied weekly. The previous guests foods scraps wasn’t taken on Monday eve to curb.
I would stay again for the above stated reasons, and now I know what I need to bring instead of guessing!

I loved staying at the beach house, the views were spectacular! We could also watch all the wildlife, deer, and jackrabbits on the cliffs from the living room. The house is very unique, well stocked, and had everything you would need. EXCEPT, we had no access to a washer and dryer, apparently there is a severe water shortage, and they no longer provide laundry on the premises. Which was shocking to me, thankfully I packed enough clothes. The nearest laundromat is 12 miles away. Other than being extremely disappointed about that, everything else was just spectacular. Nice little neighborhood cozied right into the ocean side. So peaceful and relaxing! Wine vineyards and quaint towns near by, with amazing restaurants. Very beautiful part of California, will definitely be returning.

Unique but GREAT house! Great kitchen, huge dining room, beds are very comfortable, hot tub was amazing, and the view was spectacular! Definitely would stay at this house again. Everyone in our group agreed! Would have loved to have spent more time outside enjoying the different balcony/decks, but plan to be back. The neighborhood was great! The HOA's are a little annoying, but that's anywhere that has an HOA.

We really enjoyed our stay, the property location was great. The only issues we had was the cleanliness, the sheets & blankets had stains & looked like it hasn't been washed. Luckily we had brought some blankets from home. Only advise is to get better cleaners.

Stayed in Dillon Beach for the rainy, stormy weekend, and still thoroughly enjoyed family time because of this wonderful location. The house is absolutely fabulous, very clean, well-maintained and a joy to stay at. Would definitely go back.

We were extremely shocked by this rental to the point that we could not stay there. It is an older structure with the cement driveway cracked and slanting toward the ravine. The entry courtyard was dirty and had odd pieces of cement scattered about. The rooms are narrow and claustrophobic and the stairs to the bedrooms steep and unsafe. When we spoke to the property management company they were extremely rude and unwilling to hear the issues relating to the property. They refused to give us any refund even though we did not spend one night there. They then texted us to say that they would not discuss our concerns further.

Nice spot for a family getaway to celebrate my husband’s 70th Birthday.Unusual architecture provided views from every space. We had perfect clear weather and enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the roof deck.The courtyard was great for barbecuing and a nice space for our dog to hang out. Unfortunately, the massive windows were dirty and the lower deck wind protection enclosure was filthy, so no time was spent in that area. The hot tub was cloudy. The “dog run” was not clean and dangerous as it is enclosed with plastic that a dog could slip under and down the cliff.The stairs inside the house to the lower level are slanted and had to be careful navigating. We were disappointed that the darts for the dartboard are all broken.Despite these negative issues, we enjoyed our stay, but would definitely look into other places for our next visit.

We weren't very happy with the house. Really did feel that it was over sold. YES...beautiful view regardless of the extremely dirty windows, but an extremely uncomfortable stay! We found almost every piece of furniture in the house to be very uncomfortable. I'm confused by this because why wouldn't you want your guests to be comfortable? Sheets on the beds were dirty; found a hair ball on the top sheet of the master bed. No linens supplied for the horrifically uncomfortable futon. Dirty cover on the stained sofa sleeper mattress downstairs. The grounds directly around the house could be better taken care of. We just felt in general that the house advertised did NOT match up to the actual experience. So disappointed!

We made a last minute booking to get away from the heat in Sacramento and "Above and Beyond" did not disappoint. The house itself is beautiful with lots of places to relax, we made dinner at home every night and there were great tools to make fantastic meals. The views were great and the neighborhood very quiet and peaceful. The property managers were great communicators and very helpful. This was our third trip to Dillon Beach and this house is by far our favorite and will hopefully be back here again soon.

We spent such a nice weekend here, I miss it and still think about it. This house is really beautiful, the views are spectacular, so many places to hang out, and wow the hot tub! The hot tub is off to the side of the deck with an unobstructed view of the ocean, and a nice warm outdoor shower - so relaxing, quiet and peaceful. The house is on the top of a hill next to a valley - the birds soar by the house, the deer tip toe around, and bunnies hopping. This is a great place for bird watching and star gazing. I was very surprised how warm it was, despite the fog, the decks are wind protected and for some reason it was not cold! We live in SF where its 50-60 in the fog, not here. The beach at Dillon Beach was beautiful, the surf is very tame and the water was not ice cold - totally swimmable! It also has great surf, the waves break a bit farther out and there were surfers at all times. Since the house is on the top of a hill, it’s easy to get a good cardio workout even on a short walk - walk in a different direction for a flat walk. The drive out to Dillon Beach from 101 settles you immediately, the super cute town on the way reminds you that you can live without gadgets and go out to breakfast and coffee without crowds. Upon arrival you will chill and play cornhole and darts with the 3 station coolest thoroughly dated boom box playing in the background. On second thought, maybe I shouldn’t tout this place so much, since I want it to be available at all times when I need a break.

Family Vacation with Adult Children
Lovely property. 2 of the bedrooms were very comfy. The third bed was a pull out couch which was serviceable. The bathrooms were terrific. The kitchen was great, it was just missing a coffee grinder. This house has lots of great corners for privacy.
