Awesome. We love Beach Walk! We have stayed several times and are already booked for next Labor Day. So much to do at Beach Walk and we walk over to lake Michigan and spend hours on the beach. Absolutely would recommend this vacation resort.

Overall good, 6th year in a row that we stayed at Beachwalk. House cleaning has become a problem. This year our house was not cleaned properly before we arrived. Also Several light bulbs were burned out when we arrived and other items needed maintenance.

We had a wonderful vacation, with a wonderful group of family. The location of our house was ideal. We especially enjoyed the porch. The house could have been much cleaner. There was a dead spider being eaten by ants in the foyer when we came in. The floors. Baseboards &cabinets weren’t as I would expect. The beds and especially the pillows were bad. We loved the huge kitchen it was well equipped. The recycle cans were full when we got there we called on Tuesday & we’re told they would be picked up the next morning but never were. The office staff could not have been better. $20 a day for a training wheel bike is a bit much. I was a great house to entertain in. The other disappointment was the lake was closed to swimming and paddle boarding then the pool closed on Thursday. If I was to recommend this property it would be with a disclaimer . Thank you

Gathered a large group of family for an 80th birthday celebration and had a wonderful time. Amenities in the beach walk community are wonderful. Access to the beach is superb. The house location is close to everything. House could use a little TLC and updating inside, especially the kitchen.

We come here every 2 years for a family reunion with 4 families and 17 people. Is it the best beach in the country? No, BUT we love coming here for the accessibility, simplicity and the kids have a blast! We really enjoyed our stay at The Roses and the layout of the house worked really well for the kids sleeping on the 3rd floor and being away from the noise of the adults. The one area that could use some attention is the cleanliness of the house. The counters and floors seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned between rentals. Our feet were black with in seconds and we had to wear shoes at all times. We had a baby that we couldn’t let crawl because her hands were black after a few minutes on the floor. We ended up trying to clean the floors ourselves but there wasn’t proper cleaning equipment available. Overall we had a great time and plan to come back in hopes the house is cleaner next time!

Beachwalk Resort is a great place to vacation with your family but I would not recommend spending your hard earned cash on renting "The Roses - Austin Rose and Rose Bud! The house accommodated our family but the screened in porch looked like it hadn't been cleaned since last fall, the grass was a foot tall, none of the appliances worked to full capacity, the vacuums didn't work and the mops were moldy! The outdoor grill started on fire and the handle melted, and the second grill never worked! The coffee pot had to be put together every-time you used it! I give Kudos to the management company who were very responsive and extremely helpful! The pool, small lake and Lake Michigan beach were great and the sunsets beautiful! It was also great to have a snack bar and small store for convenience! We will return but not to The Roses!

We met the owners when we took a look at The Roses the year before we stayed, and they could not have been nicer. Every details is taken care of - the wifi actually works! The live TV for sports is in every room! The golf cart is amazing! The location is perfect right next to the park where they have outdoor movie night, and a Beachwalk block from the pool and new activity center. The 3rd floor room with all the twin beds was the perfect spot for our teens and pre-teens. The kitchen had every utensil and pot to make everything we needed. This is not a fancy, don't touch the furniture type of house...but it's the perfect house for your large family!

We had several families join here and everyone was impressed how well stocked the kitchen was. Very nice to have extra towels and sheets for all beds. Everyone was very comfortable and it was great to be across from the park. We played bocce ball in the park and sat on the porch to listen to the live music.

Great home, lots of room for multiple families. Location is perfect with a short walk to the pool and all the amenities of the resort. Golf Cart included with the home was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms, no waiting in line despite a house full of people. Multiple grills on site for those grill out dinner nights which is much appreciated. Washer/dryers galore, I think i counted 4 sets! The only down side is the VERY SMALL living room, so family movie nights are out of the question as there is only seating for ~5 people to enjoy a movie together. We will definitely keep coming back to Beachwalk (5 years so far) and The Roses will be top on our list.

Everything was great no issues with the house. The house was perfect size for all of us, we have 11 kids and 10 adults. The area was great and was good for all the kids to be able to play outside at the pool or the beach.

A wonderful place for a family getaway for NYE. Had a lovely time just getting away from the city and enjoying time with family in a different space other than our home! The house was great for our family and there was plenty to do around town even during a pandemic! The first night we got there we arrived after the front office had closed and they were very accommodating to get us our keys to place. They even called us to make sure we got in ok

This was a 9th year at Beachwalk - 4th at The Roses, which is under new ownership this year. The house is looking a bit tired but hoping new owner tackles that along with a second refrigerator and more hooks in the bedroom & bathrooms for wet towels would be. Thought we would have access to a golf cart (as website house description says but we did not).
Our group of bicyclists love coming for a long weekend in early fall. In the past 9 years we have gone from one a few at Beachwalk to almost sold out. Guess our little fall secret is out. LOL
