Overall we had a nice stay. Upon arriving at the unit, we were a little apprehensive because the outside was a bit unkept and dated. After getting through the electric bear deterrent (scary!), however, the inside was very welcoming. It appears to have been recently remodeled and has modern amenities and fixtures. The unit was clean with the exception of the floor rugs which could have been easily tossed in the washer. The location was great... we could bike almost anywhere we wanted and the bakery within walking distance was incredible! Though the nightly rental rate was fair, it almost felt like bait and switch because after adding all the other fees (owner, cleaning, taxes, etc.), it got quite expensive. That alone would probably keep me from coming back.

Most disappointing VRBO thus far! Both urine and blood stains on blankets in bedrooms. Bedroom carpets made our socks dirty! Upstairs balcony rotten with rails that felt as if they could give easily. Dirty rolled up carpet and used/filthy AC filter stacked near front door. Back yard a hazard with downed pine limbs, unspooled hoses, tarps...a remodel of upstairs was great...I highly recommend staying somewhere else. I contacted the owning company, sent photos of urine/blood/all else. Received 10+ "I'm so sorry" responses. I asked for compensation. They refunded OUR CLEANING DEPOSIT of $255 only...the very minimum they should have done. I wish I could include photos here as it would provide proof of my concerns with this property.

The microwave was broken, broken chair, garbage disposal not working, they must have just sprayed pesticides because flys and ants were dying all week. The small toaster oven a fire hazard has a setting to leave on and this oven gets very hot. Hot enough to melt it. The front door does have a lock that works. I sent pictures to the phone provided and no one contacted us. Do you really care about the feed back. We rented two house and the turn key house didn’t have any problems.

We stayed at Haven on Cathedral in June for 2 nights. Nice and clean place close to many Tahoe attractions and the Lake Tahoe bike trail. The only thing that didn't really work for us was the BBQ... the igniter didn't work and likely due to the age there were a ton of flair-ups. We would return as long as the BBQ is replaced.
