The property is lovely and is mostly well maintained. We had a great stay. I would recommend the place to anyone.
There a few things in the kitchen that weren’t there that we expected (unless a coffee maker is a plastic funnel). The information provided was for summer rentals and a little out of date. The mini market next door was closed, as were most restaurants. Advance knowledge of this would have helped our planning.
We had to sort out our tourist tax and didn’t get the support as described. A visit to the tourist tax office in the old town sorted it for us.

Apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Julie the owner and the local mgt team were very responsive to any questions we had. Check in and out was seemless and the apartment is very unique with a gorgeous large balcony overlooking the lake. Three well appointed bedrooms and beds. And 2 full bathrooms was perfect for three friends traveling together. The road leading to the apartment was very stressful for me to drive it. It is very narrow and windy with blind corners.. on one side is the sea and the other side homes. It barely accommodates two cars, and of course the locals drive very fast. So that was the only bad thing for me but perhaps others have no problem. Other than that, I’d highly recommend and Next time we will stay longer.

This is a great place to stay with a wonderful balcony. If stairs are an issue this could be tough as the stairs to the upstairs rooms are very steep. Also, the upstairs rooms have short ceilings and one of the rooms had a funky smell. But I would stay here again and Julie was very responsive with all communications.

We really enjoyed our stay … the house was super clean, well maintained & equipped.
The communication & help from Julie the property owner went over & above. She provided a great guest / handbook with useful information but also helped us arrange flowers for our friends birthday and transfers. We flew into Dubrovnik & I’m really glad we used the transfer company she recommended rather than a standard Uber / Taxi. We had not factored in the potential delays at the border .. our driver was fully aware in advance which boarder crossings had the shorter queues on our inbound & outbound trips so worth the slight extra cost.
The house location is perfect … there’s a couple of little taverna / restaurants opposite & a shop not too far to walk.
The lovely terrace get sunshine all day, it’s perfect.
We found getting taxi’s quite easy if we booked in advance, we also booked water taxis which were fun & got paddle
Boards delivered to the jetty outside the house from Jeffrey ( detailed in the hand book)
The property manager was also really friendly and clearly keeps the property to a high standard.
As well as the house being perfect we loved Montenegro … Kotor old town is great, all the people were very friendly.

We loved our vacation at this lovely apartment. It is very well conceived and equipped, very well located and the view is absolutely stunning. It was such a treat everyday to get to watch Kotor Bay from the terrace. The host is lovely and super responsive, and assisted by a lovely local couple who is equally responsive and helpful. This place really felt like a gem and I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Great communication with Julie straight from booking including some updated information after she had been to property in May. Local host Nino was very friendly and helpful with information. Terrace is fabulous and the setting just beautiful. Very generous welcome pack and apartment very clean, modern and well furnished and equipped. Parking space very helpful. The road to apartment from Kotor is very narrow and there is no barrier between road and sea in places so beware- local drivers and buses aren’t very forgiving of hire cars! The apartment is reached by external steps and then an internal staircase. There are space saver steps in apartment which are steep and wouldn’t suit everyone. The upstairs head height is very low on the landing , our older teens had to bend right over to access bedrooms and ceiling height restricted in both bedrooms as you are in the loft. The ground floor, however, is bright airy and had plenty of space for all of us to enjoy. Plenty of restaurants, plus a supermarket and bakery within a few minutes walk. We hired a kayak and paddle boards from near the bakery which were good value and great fun. Kotor Bay is magical and the terrace allowed us to enjoy it day and night.

We LOVED this property! The location is great for visiting Old Town Kotor, Perast and Tirana. The terrace is so big and great for breakfast and evening drinks (as well as drying laundry). When we arrived a huge basket of fruit, bottle of wine, cheese, juice, bread, coffee, tea, butter, jam, and meat greeted us! Since we arrived late after a drive from Dubrovnik airport this was very much appreciated.
We also really enjoyed a private boat tour we took with Ivan whose brochure is in the condo.
It’s an easy walk to the store and quite a few delicious restaurants. Also you are right across the street from swimming.
The host is very responsive and the local couple who care for the place are also very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful visit at the Old Stone House apartment. The apartment has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. The view on the terrace is breathtaking— better than the pictures that are beautiful! Some people have noted the road from the street to the house as being very steep, but we didn’t find it to be a problem at all. I’ve had knee replacement surgery and found this short walk to be easy. We rented a car and had a nice parking spot behind the apartment. Our host was wonderful, —providing great, up-to-date information on the area, Old Town Kotor, restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries. There is a wonderful, delicious restaurant on the water next to the Old Sone House that has the best food and service. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer!!

The house is exceptionally well placed and allowed us to explore the surrounding area by car. The restaurant downstairs was excellent and the waiter extremely kind. We warmly recommend this house. A very special thank to Julie, our host, for her kindness.

We loved everything about our trip to Montenegro, but staying here was the best part! We absolutely loved sitting out on the terrace in the morning and evening and taking in the incredible views. Check in was easy, the apartment was huge, and had everything we needed. We also loved the quiet location, but were still close to old town kotor. I can’t recommend this place enough!

This was such a great stay! Julie, the host, is super organized and she had the best check in info package I’ve ever seen. Location is fabulous, communication with host and property manager was easy and they always replied really quickly.

House is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms are a little short on head space but quite large. Ideal for kids. The staircase to the upstairs bedrooms is compact and steep so not suitable for the infirm. But the terrace is fabulous and offers the most stunning views down the bay. Great for morning coffee or a drink in the evening. Also lots of restaurant options within a short walk. And it comes with parking which is essential!!!! Oh and get a small car - the road to Kotor is narrow and two way. But great spot. Highly recommended!

Just perfect place for our 13 YO twins and extended family.Everything we needed was right there,either in the apartment or konoba,mininmarket,or pekara nearby.
Cominicating with Julia and/or Buba was just as it shall be,fast,eficient and clear.

Beautiful property and a wonderful vacation
Had a great experience in this property with my family. The apartment is very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. You have everything that you need plus an amazing terrace with stunning views overlooking the Bay - no photo can do it justice. The place where you simply do not want to sleep, but to enjoy to the extent possible the views – spectacular all day long! A pier right in front of the house, perfect for swimming, and kids were having a blast jumping into the water over and over again.
I was trying to wake up early every morning, just cross the street and jump into the sea for an uninterrupted swimming, then go back to enjoy my morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony. We ended up having most of our dinners at home (more convenient with kids), while sipping a wine and enjoying the views – never felt the need to venture too far. But for those who prefer eating out, there are two restaurants within two minutes walk, and a couple of others down Prcanj and Stoliv. Beautiful Kotor old town is only 10 minutes drive (4-5 euros taxi ride).
Julie is a great host – very responsive and accommodating all our requests. We truly enjoyed it, and will certainly stay there again!
