Situated in Pittman Center, this lovely house for R 16,117 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Mountain View Retreat is a large luxury cabin in a private setting with plenty of space to enjoy time with your friends and family. This is the perfect cabin for large groups with 6 large bedrooms (4 of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms share a full bathroom). The cabin has 180 degree views from the decks and yard. This beautiful 6 bedroom, 5.5 bath log cabin in Pinnacle View sleeps up to 20 (12 Adults and 8 youth - see bedroom description)! On 1.84 acres with gorgeous 180 degree Mountain views from the decks and yard. Features include an open floor plan on the main level, hardwood flooring throughout, cathedral ceilings, a huge wall of windows, fireplace, custom upscale kitchen with granite counter tops, rec room with a pool table, media room with theater seating and 65' TV, large bedroom suites, walk in closet, whirlpool tub, hot tub, and 2 levels of huge decks! In a very nice and prestigious area. Each over-sized bedroom has a king bed and great views. The spacious living room on the main level has a fireplace and plenty of seating. The main level also has a large well equipped kitchen which it perfect for entertaining or baking cookies! The dining room, bedroom with attached bathroom, 1/2 bath and a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer are on this level as well. On the upper level you will find the theater room with 65' TV, blu ray and surround sound. 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are upstairs. The entertainment room, on the lower level, features an arcade multiplex game, pool table, foosball and air hockey as well as a Play Station 2 and many other games. This level has a bedroom with en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, 2 additional bedrooms and another full bathroom. In addition to the theater room, there are 8 flat screen TVs, several DVDs, another Blu Ray and a VCR if you feel like watching a movie or your favorite show with others or privately! Overall my family had a wonderful time, we visited Dollywood-it was overly crowded, we also took the ole Smokey moonshine tour. Well worth every penny!!! We took a few hours on Main Street and enjoyed the scenery! The cabin……the driveway can be challenging when the ground is wet-as it’s very steep, however there was plenty of parking. When you walk in the door you are welcomed by amazing views thru the large living room windows. Very spacious rooms throughout the house. The kitchen had a few issues- not enough kitchen linens for the amount of people and time spent there if you plan on cooking meals daily. The kitchen faucet spigot sprayed water everywhere when turned on. The house has plenty of dishes and cookware. Lots of refrigerator space upstairs and downstairs. Definitely be have to mindful when using the furniture- it’s not very sturdy both in the dining room and living room. The clothes washer and dryer is of the larger size and worked great for our big family- and when the dryer broke on day 4 the host was very responsive and offered a laundry service! The lady bugs were everywhere but surprisingly no one got stung by them!!!!! I would definitely come back and stay for another week!

Only thing I had about cabin outlets had tape some of them and railing on top porch looks like it wasn’t to safe.toilet on main floor bathroom was broken and I think this should be checked out before our stay, I don’t what to take out f my stay to list of thing that need done. Nice cabin and location just needs some TLC.

This was a semi secluded cabin that was great for our large family! Huge kitchen and living room open. My only complaint was the internet didn't work the majority of the time we were there and the insulation was NONE lol With 2 small children running through the house and up/down the stairs it was SUPER LOUD but still expected with small children. All in all the stay was AMAZING and great place to stay for large families.

Everyone was very happy, we love this house it was perfect for all of us. It was closed to everything. I will go back for next year. It was a blessing to have everyone together in one place.

Every summer our family of 7 travels with my brothers family of 6. We always struggle finding a house that fits us all comfortably. This house is extremely spacious with plenty of beds and bathrooms. Multiple refrigerators. Hot tub. Fire pit. Excellent communication from the property owner ahead of time with answers to my numerous questions! We have rented over 6 houses from this site and this one was by far the cleanest and more accurately described of all of them. 20 minutes or so to Gatlinburg and a little farther to Pigeon Forge. Close park called Greenbriar was probably our favorite for driving and hiking. I highly recommend this rental home!

We had our entire family 8 adults and 7 children ages 0-13 and it accommodate everyone perfectly!! We enjoyed the movie theater on the day it rained as well as the game room!! There was plenty of room and the bedrooms were spacious! We well definitely book the retreat again next year!!
Entry was simple and communication was great!
Don’t think twice about this one it’s the perfect place for families to make memories!

All the Kids and Grand Kids. What a great Christmas! Clean and the host was super friendly. Lock your doors on your cars. We had a bear open 2 of our car doors and make himself at home.

We had a great experience at this property, including seeing a bear walk up the driveway! The kitchen was well stocked and the game room was well-used during our stay! Would highly recommend!

Overall the cabin was great, it does need some minor repairs. Dishwasher didn’t work, railing was loose, they had patched some of the railing with putty but it was very rough. Could have used more towels and toilet paper. Other supplies were great except no spoons. It could have used a bit more cleaning, again overall was great. The drive up a bit scary but that was to be excepted.

The views were spectacular! One day a mother bear ran across the back yard only to be greated by her three cubs all standing up in a row!
We had a total of eighteen family members staying here and there was plenty of room for everyone.

We had 16 adults and 3 kids, and everyone had an actual bed to sleep in--not an air mattress or pull-out sofa. The property was clean and well-stocked, including the kitchen (we made all our huge family-style meals there). Our only complaint was that the dishwasher wasn't working, so we spent a lot of time washing dishes. The location worked well for short trips into the park for a hike or into Gatlinburg. And despite there being other homes closer than you first realize, it felt private and had lovely views.

Gatlinburg Family Getaway
Mountain View Retreat was perfect for our large family. It has amazing views. We had plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of space. The decks were great for that morning cup of coffee or an evening drink. We all loved the game room. We rarely saw the children and grandchildren. We enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of parking on a paved driveway. The roads leading up to the house were also paved. We would definitely stay there again and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The house is convenient to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Firge and Dollywood. The communication with Jennifer Marques, our host, was excellent. She was very responsive to any requests.

I really can’t say enough about this beautiful home and place. It’s perfect! I brought my Children and grandchildren . 20 total. The home was great for the entire family where we weren’t tripping over one another. The home and yard were beautiful in such a beautiful location!! I hope t visit again one day!💖💖💖

Picked this house as it had 6 bedrooms with king size beds. It needed some deep cleaning as there was cobwebs in several places. The kitchen needed new skillets badly. Beds are in SERIOUS need of up grade . Like sleeping on boards . Only TVS that worked were main Tv & theater room . All were missing batteries.In remotes We were fortunate to wake up to a beautiful snow , which caused us to be without power & water .for almost 24 hrs ( not owners fault ) I do recommend an emergency plan for this scenario . There was no flashlights( not where they were listed to be ) no candles, nothing . The gas logs do not heat the large cabin . And luckily we had men in the group to even get it lit . We had to move all guest to top floor just to stay warm . Someone had to sleep by fireplace because it’s on a timer and would shut off so they had to keep it lit . Our biggest disappointment I guess would have been the beds and tvs ( for little kids to able to enjoy their rooms . Spending over 5,000 I’d hoped for better quality . If these issues are fixed I’d highly recommend. It’s in a beautiful location with beautiful views.

Perfectly located just a short distance to Gaitlinburg or Pigeon Forge, yet secluded. Would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking in that area. The only minor suggestion I would make is for management to look into upgrading the grill to a gas one instead of charcoal. The charcoal grill has large gaps and not really ideal for cooking in. But this is just an opinion. There is a smaller charcoal grill available but not ideal if you're cooking a large amount of food. Also, we couldn't get anything to work in the theater room. But we didn't try it until the last night so didn't bother calling management, which I'm sure could have walked us through it. Maybe more in depth directions for use, and label remotes. Netflix subscription was no longer available. I only gave an ok on cleanliness because the downstairs bathrooms really needed a better cleaning, especially the tubs and around toilets just had a stale, wetness smell and the trash can for the ashes from the grill was overflowing with ashes and there was no where to clean the grill that also was full of ash, so we had to dump the can ourselves just to clean the grill to cook. However, none of this would stop us from using the property again. Very easy check-in process, everything you need to stay except your clothes. Beautiful, beautiful home. Loved finding a place to accommodate a large family. Thank you for allowing us use of the home.

We are a party of 20 people with adults and children and the day before our scheduled trip our other cabin that we booked months in advance got cancelled due to power outage because of the snow. So we had less than 24 hours to find another house to host 20 people for 4 days and to have confirmation that the new cabin has power, access to it because of the snow that already fell and an option for an early check in to avoid another snow storm on the way. Not an easy task, to say the least.
I was ready to give up until we saw this house. Looked great, roomy, and big enough for our group. I emailed the host, Jennifer, not hoping for much. To my surprise, she replied within minutes, the house is available to book, they had last minute cancellation, and it has the power! Within next communications, she checked with cleaning personnel to confirm that there is an easy access to the house due to the current snow conditions and made arrangements for us to do early check in to avoid another snow storm on the way. I couldn't believe we had such luck! All within hours we found another perfect house for our party of 20 people with perfect accommodations for everyone.
Upon arrival, everything was as described. Enough rooms, plenty of space, great views, amazing time, but best of all, fast and reliable communication with Jennifer, she was the best, thank you so much for your help and quick replies. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

The home is situated in a great location and you feel secluded even though there are homes nearby. They layout was perfect for our family with the teenagers in the basement and the parents upstairs. There was amble dishes, utensils, and pots/pans for cooking.
The biggest issue we had was the cleanliness of the house. There were ladybugs (dead and alive) everywhere, old mouse droppings in the cabinets, cobwebs in the corners, blinds heavily covered in dust, and hair/lint in all the bed sheets. The dressers in the basement were broken and the shower doors in one bathroom didn’t work right either. We asked to have a light replaced at the gate on the first day and it was never replaced during our stay. The WiFi was slow and we could not get it to work, which was disappointing.
Overall the house worked well for us, we were mainly disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. A vacuum would be beneficial to have as well.

Enjoyable stay with lovely views. Only
Disappointment was the Floor was not appropriately cleaned. Lots of dog hair that was challenging to clean up because broom and vacuum were both overdue for replacement. On/off Switch on vac doesn’t work and the unit fell apart allowing all the debris to fall out numerous times.

This was the third time my family and friends had the pleasure of staying at this property. It has become an annual trip we all look forward to. From the moment we walked in the first visit, it felt like home.
Our group includes eight adults and two dogs. The cabin is the perfect layout where everyone is comfortable, and has their own space. The cabin was very clean upon arrival after an easy check in process. The kitchen is very well-stocked and the two refrigerators come in handy. We really enjoy cooking all of our meals at the cabin and enjoying the scenery from the top deck. I highly recommend this property.
