Short term stays for Maui residents and teams helping in Maui relief are welcome. Pets and number of guests are flexible during the current crisis. Home is close to Kailua Beach and Kailua Town-shopping & restaurants. The home features a large family room and living room. Each bedroom has an AC unit and fans. The floor plan allows for separate spaces for everyone. Offering a comfortable Kailua experience, it is a great place to relax and still close enough for trips to Waikiki and North Shore. Walk to the Kalapawai Market for morning coffee, wind surf or kite board from the best spot on the island, rent a kayak or paddleboard, enjoy views of the Mokuluas, and have shaved ice at Island Snow later in the day. BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master suite has a Queen bed, Full bath and 2 closets. Bedroom 2 has a full bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 twin XL beds that you can easily put together into a king if needed. You can also use the queen size air mattress and 2 twin size air mattresses. KITCHEN The fully stocked gourmet kitchen has everything you could possibly need to from wine glasses to pots, pans & rice cooker The kitchen opens into the dining area & large family room beyond which you can step into a private yard. An outdoor grill is available. LIVING ROOM There is spacious and bright living room with large sliding doors that open into a private courtyard EXTRAS: Pretty much everything you need for a memorable Hawaiian vacation are provided, down to the beach towels and boogie boards. A hub for water sports such as windsurf, body board, kayak, paddle boarding and parasail. Pillbox Hike is 2 miles away. It’s a 30-minute climb up to two old military bunkers overlooking the North Shore coastline. The views are amazing. Try the breakfast at Cinnamon’s in downtown Kailua; - Walk to Kapalawai Market to get freshly made sandwich or just off the grill burger before heading to the beach. - Asian food restaurants include Champa Thai, Miyoshi Ramen, Saigon Noodle, or Tokonoma Sushi; - Italian or Mexican include Assaggio, Buone Era, California Pizza Kitchen or Cactus; - Try some fresh poke at Hibachi Grill, Foodland or Wholefoods This vintage home was built in 1949- one of the first residential neighborhoods in Kailua. It has a long local Kailua history with original antique windows and hardwood floors. It has been tastily renovated with a fully equipped kitchen, classic Hawaii charm and island decor. To make working and learning remotely from paradise more efficient, we have the highest available fiber optic Wi-Fi available on the island. 30 day rental house is on a main road within close proximity to Kailua town & Kailua Beach. Comfortable Kailua experience, it is a great place to relax away from the crowds but still close enough for trips to Waikiki and North Shore. Perfect location close to our very favorite beach- Kailua beach. 3 pack n plays were available at the house along with multiple air mattresses and snorkel gear, sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, beach towels, etc. everything you could need.

We booked this because we needed both properties to accommodate our group. The pictures definitely make the property looking better than it is. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. Several of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty. The house had a musty smell to it.
The location isn’t bad but it was hard to access the property because parking was around the side and in back of the house. The front gate had broken recently so there was a pile of boulders in the middle of the backyard.
We were disappointed overall, it just didn’t seem very well maintained and could definitely use some updating.

This is a great space. Walking into a large entrance/dinning room area, open plan kitchen and down a few stairs into a lovely lounge. It’s a great relaxing space and loads of room to make use of.
The bedrooms are all you need with walk in wardrobes in each one, and tv in two of them. Two bedrooms have double beds and third bedroom has twin beds. We were treated to a visitor one night - Gary the gecko. Cute tiny guy - easy to catch though and we put him outside.
Shower in the main bathroom has better pressure than the en suit.

Place was as described and very spacious. Living area was large and bedrooms were perfectly sized. Kitchen was fully equipped and the whole place was very clean. Equipped with both ceiling fans and A/C in all living g areas so it was great. Location is near shops and easy location to the beach with a short walk. We had a great overall stay!!!

Great location to walk to Kailua town and the beach. It is on a busy street but the location was worth it. It’s a little dark and could use more lighting. I’d also warn people about the step down into the master bathroom. We found out the hard way.

This property was wonderful ! Perfect location for our vacation / wedding needs for the adult family ! Kelly was outstanding in her communication and responsiveness to our questions . Access to restaurants and beaches was perfect ! Thank you for making our stay filled with lifetime memories !

The house is within walking distance of a nice beach and includes beach equipment. Neighborhood is nice with stores and restaurants near. House is older but adequate for a beach vacation or as a base for exploring the island.

Experienced a double-booking situation, while the owner did provide a compensation, it was an inconvenience of having a smaller place than desired without seeing - as well as having to pack up everything and move midway through our stay.

Really great location
Owner is super responsive and the check-in and check-out process was really easy. Neighborhood is great and felt safe in the area. Very close to many restaurants, necessities, and beaches.
Home is slightly worn, we needed more towels, and the ac units were nice, but installed with duct tape around the windows. In one of the rooms, the duct tape was wearing off and was leaving the window exposed. Otherwise great stay.

Spacious Kailua rental
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home. It is located within walking distance to Kailua Town and had plenty of space for movie watching and card game playing. Each bedroom has its own A/C unit which we were grateful for as we adjusted to the temperatures and humidity of Hawaii!

This house was perfect for our friends and family stay. It is spacious so had plenty of room. It is a quick trip to the beach, which was important for us. Our hostess Kelly is kind and answered all our questions. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

Kailua Rental
Loved this rental property for our family of 6 with 5 adults, one teenager. We were vacationing for the week. Perfectly located within a short walk to town(good shopping, close to grocery stores and great restaurants) and the Kailua beach. Nearby walking/bicycle trails. Not too far from the Lanikai pillbox hike. Plenty of room in the house and a nice backyard for BBQs. Other perks: outdoor shower and laundry, free parking.! We ate most of our meals at the house. With the 6 of us, it would have been nice to have more utensils and glassware, but otherwise the kitchen is well stocked with cookware. The house is fenced/gated and off the road, but there is some traffic noise which was not a problem with use of A/c and room fans. There was a minor glitch in checking in(we went to the other rental unit on the property first), but this was quickly resolved by the owner. The owner also reimbursed us for a DVD player we purchased on island. I highly recommend this rental house.

Best stay in Hawaii!
Property was clean, spacious, and close to everything in town. Everyday we would walk to the beach and kayak, and be able to walk in town and grab a bite to eat! It was an excellent space and I would definitely stay again!

Great family memories!
Our family of six adults and two children under two overall really enjoyed our stay. The property is located in a good spot. It was about a 10 minute walk to restaurants, Target, etc. and about a 15 minute walk to Kailua Beach. The house was very spacious between the sitting dining and living room areas and there was enough room in the two larger bedrooms for the kids to sleep. Entering the driveway with a large SUV was a challenge. Kelly was a great host.

No complaints on my part.
When we arrived the house was clean and ready to go. The AC went out and it was fixed right away. Plenty of towels and everything we needed at hand such as toilet paper, pots, pans, spices, laundry detergent you name it. We left the house and came back when ever we wanted no problem during our stay. There was construction that we weren’t aware of but it wasn’t an inconvenience. Over all, we would rent this house again!

Beautiful home within walking distance to the beach!
The house was perfect for our stay. I picked this home based on the many positive reviews, and we definitely made the right decision. This place was perfect for me and my family. It is clean and very spacious, with the owner being very accommodating. This trip was at the top of our list as one of the best vacations we’ve had.

Our best vacation yet! Fabulous home near the best beaches!
Our family made lots of memories in Kailua. The house is on the edge of the really cute & charming Kailua town which made is easy for us to walk to shops and to the the most amazing sandy beaches on the island. The location is more that ideal and the home itself was comfortable, super clean, and well stocked. We felt right at home. We use vacation rentals often and not all have the small details that we appreciate like having black out curtains, AC in all the rooms, condiments, quality toiletries, small nightlights that help navigate a new space, toys for the kids & adults, BBQ. This place had it all. We will be staying again for sure.

Nice Cozy house for a vacation
My friends and I stayed here for a staycation and we had a wonderful time. The house is a little on the older side but overall the stay was great. Everything was very clean and Kelly was very friendly and inviting. We ran into little issues where one of the air mattresses broke. We contacted Kelly and she responded right away! Kelly even brought another air mattresses to replace the broken one. The water pressure in the shower was a little weak but it wasnt a big issue. Kelly was a wonderful host and I recommend staying at her house.

Our stay in Kailua was one we will all remember. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean with a fully stocked kitchen. All the rooms had AC which we needed on hot days. It is on the edge of Kailua town on a 2 lane road-we walked to restaurants every day. Starbucks, Wholefoods and Target right down the street as well as many little boutique shops and restaurants. The whole property is fully gated and enclosed so we felt close to everything but, still had our little oasis to retreat to at the end of the day. highly recommend!

Amazing Home in the Ideal Location by the Beach
Our large 3 generation family had a fantastic stay in Kailua. There was lots of great beach gear, pull wagons and coolers to use. Kitchen is fully stocked with pantry items. Lots of toys and games for all ages. It is on a main road 2 lane which was ideal for us. We could step outside the gates and take one road straight to the beach and one road straight to Kailua town - great for easily navigating a large multi-generational group, all going different directions-beach, hiking, shopping, restaurants etc. Try the Poke bowl at Hibachi grill a block away from the house-so yummy. The house was the perfect spot between Kailua Beach and Kailua town-a few minutes drive or 15 minute walk. AC's in all the rooms worked great when we needed them. No need to use AC at night- we preferred the cool ocean breezes. We come to Oahu every year and there are lots of bugs in the tropics but, we had no issues with any pests at the home even when we accidentally left food on the counter over night. I would highly recommend staying at Kellý's house-it felt like home-comfortable, clean, convenient, spacious and just an amazing experience for all of us. We will definitely stay at this home again next time!

Family reunion and heavenly beaches
Relaxing visit. Close to everything we needed. Great kitchen and family area. Barbecue was easy. Host family had bunnies in the backyard! Air conditioning really helped during the heat of the day, but didn’t really need it at night. Kids had their space, adults had their space as well. Really clean. Lovely time. Thanks for everything Kelly!

Kailua home on busy loud street
Property is located on busy loud street. Home is spacious. Lots of shops nearby plenty to do. If you like walking, beach is about 20-25 minuets away from the home. Not 5 min as indicated on property details. 2 of the bedrooms have somewhat air conditioners. 3rd bedroom does not have air conditioning which is unbearable to sleep in. Lost electricity in 2 of the bedrooms off and on constantly. Overall not what we expected. Beach supplies were in bad shape. Definitely something that needs upgrading. Ants through out the home. It was difficult at times to enjoy the home but we made it work. Lots of memories for all. Thank you to Kelly the homeowner for her quick responses and help, she was great.
