There is a firewall between the two sides so noise from the other side is not an issue. Each side has it's own entrance, parking, deck space, and amenities. This listing is for one side only. Microwave. 12 cup drip coffee maker. Oven with electric range. Refrigerator. Too much to list. Everything you need to cook, nothing you don't need. Deck: Bar height dining table and 4 chairs. Tilting deck umbrella for shade. Bar height tete-a-tete deck seating ensures a perfect view of the ocean. 4 beach-style beach chairs. 1 soft-sided surfboard and 2 boogie boards. Under the house: Foot wash on dune walk for quick rinses . Open hot water shower. Parking for 4 vehicles under the house in the shade. Hot water hose for rinsing salt spray off windshields. New gas grill (Dec20) under the house. Uses small green camping canister only. Canisters provided by guest and can be purchased at local grocery and hardware stores for about $4 a canister that lasts 2.5 hours on medium high heat. Pet policy: We prefer pets during the non-peak months. If you are traveling with a pet, you will be required to agree to our pet conditions. These are non-negotiable and strictly enforced. They are: 1. Max of 2 dogs per booking (no cats or other animals allowed)2. Pet fee is paid at booking for additional cleaning required after check-out3. All dogs must be free of fleas/ticks4. Excessive barking/howling is not permitted5. Dogs are from being on the furniture6. Bedding, towels, extra blankets, etc. are not allowed to be used as furniture covers, dog bedding, or for dog bathing7. Dogs must be house-trained and not destructive to property or furnishings Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We spent a week relaxing with gorgeous ocean views. A few days were warm enough and not too windy for beach and deck time. We enjoyed meeting our neighbors and sharing cocktail hour. Just what we needed!

To look out the living room floor-to-ceiling windows at the ocean is really a site to behold!
The place is nicely decorated, very clean, and has a modern, well-equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable with 4 pillows of differing firmness to pick from. The place is also equipped with a washer and dryer for those who need them. We couldn't have had a better place to stay for the week we were here. We hope to come back soon!

My dog and I spent a relaxing week on the beach. The house was perfect for us…great view of beach and ocean, kitchen fully stocked, and comfortable bed…excellent quality. I will book the house again and definitely refer to friends that are looking for some relaxing beach time. The booking, communications…entire process was easy and efficient.

From the original payment all systems were positive. Upon entering we saw the open space with many windows. The unit was complete with everything we would need for a vacation . We were blessed with sunrises and sunsets.

Awesome oceanfront duplex. Fully stocked with everything you need. This includes many games for kids and binoculars to watch the dolphins. This time of year the dolphins are out every day and we never tire of seeing them. They even gave us a show by slapping their tales and jumping.
This place is close to stores and restaurants. Owner is very responsive. This duplex stays booked so that says it all. I will be back for sure!

Spent several days at this gorgeous property for a second time, and it was just as amazing as I had remembered. Nothing is better than falling asleep to the sound of the ocean just outside your window. The house is clean, perfectly decorated, comfortable, and equipped with everything one needs to relax and unwind. Could not recommend it more highly!

From the moment we walked in and found flowers, the fixings for mimosas, and a dog biscuit for our fur baby we knew we were in the right place! The home was well stocked, clean, and the views were breathtaking! Nicole was great to work with and made our visit stress free! Loved every minute!

This was our family's third stay at Shorebreak, and it was amazing as always. The home is perfect for our family of 4 with everything available that we need. We drive in from MO, so it's nice to be able to travel lightly where we essentially only have to bring in our clothes. The property is very well maintained, and we've seen that the owner continues to make upgrades each year which is very nice.
For the first time, we had a minor issue with a faucet that was broken. It worked fine, and was basically cosmetic, but I did let Nicole (the owner) know. She was very quick to respond and had it fixed immediately while making sure to work around our schedule so as not to be intrusive. She truly cares about caring for the property while respecting our time there.
The beach access is awesome. It really feels like a private beach. We spent most days right there, but took one day to go to Sand Dollar Island this year, which was a good excursion to experience once. We saw dolphins swimming this year as well, which our kids really enjoyed seeing. They also loved "hunting" for crabs after sunset.
Overall, I can't praise the owner and property manager enough here. Beautiful stay with excellent communication. We've booked another week for our 4th stay because we enjoy it that much. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed or having a bad experience given the superb communication that I've experienced.

This was our group's first visit to Emerald Isle and it was gorgeous! The morning views, especially, were breath taking. We saw dolphins almost every day. The property was very nicely furnished, the kitchen well stocked and everything was very neat and clean. The owner was very communicative and responsive before and after our stay. You won't be disappointed if you choose this property for some R&R!

If you want to chill, this is the place. There are things to do a few miles down the road but if you bring your own food, you have everything you need! Nicole has furnished the house with everything you need to feel at home! Super quick communications. Everything is clean and good quality! Loved it!

Shorebreak is so special to our family as we have come here multiple times and each time, we love it even more. Nicole is so wonderful to communicate with and they have put so much love into their home! New updates every single time we come! It literally has everything you could possibly need from the kitchen stuff to outdoor things for the beach for all ages... chairs, beach toys, comfy outdoor chairs, etc. The list goes on and on. Our son loved watching the dolphins swim in front of the house literally every day! The house is clean and comfortable which is truly so hard to find. We love Shorebreak and can't wait to come back again soon!!

Our stay was so relaxing from the moment we opened the door. The views are breathtaking, esp when waking up and being right at the ocean, it's just so peaceful. You provided everything we needed, which made it so nice not to have to pack alot. The bed was so comfortable and we are now in the process to get one identical because we both slept like babies. We don't get to take trips like we used to so this was much needed. We are already talking about staying again soon. It's such a beautiful home and you've gone above and beyond to make it so inviting!!

A great setting on Emerald Island with views to die for. The house is well-designed, extremely well appointed and thoroughly comfortable. We've rented from Maine to California and from Seattle to Palm Beach, and this may be the nicest place we've ever had the good fortune to enjoy. Everything was perfect. We could even take our little dog, and she loved it, too.

We enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect location with two little kids because we could go back and forth between the beach and the house throughout the day. The size of the rental was exactly what we needed, and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. We didn’t use the grill but the setup looked great. A bonus was that we could bring our dog and he was allowed on the beach.
Restaurants are within 7-20 minutes and it’s also close to the Aquarium. If we ever find ourselves back in Emerald Isle, we will 100% book this place again!

I’ve been going to Emerald Isle all my life. I love the family-friendly and quiet atmosphere. Shorebreak is a beautiful property right on the ocean. I went with my partner and best friend. The bedrooms were really nice and the beds were comfortable. The view was gorgeous. There were tons of amenities including a gas grill and chairs for the beach. I plan on staying there again next year.

Best Vacation Ever!
I used to come to Emerald Isle every year growing up and was so excited to take my family here. We had the best time! The house was absolutely perfect for my family of 4! We were able to sit outside on the beautiful deck and watch the kids play in the sand and we so enjoyed the patio….I spent all my time out here. The beach was almost deserted in our area and it was the vacation we always wanted! Thank you!

This is the second time we have stayed at Shorebreak Left. It is a great property located right on the beach. The house has a great layout and provides incredible views to the ocean. Everything you need for a great relaxing week is provided. If you have any questions while there, you always get a speedy response. The owner obviously takes great pride in the property, and there were several upgrades made since our last stay in 2020. Thanks for the great week. We went ahead and booked for 2023!

We really had a wonderful time together with no agenda. It was beautiful. Fantastic accommodations just steps away from the beach. Went to sleep every night with the sound of the waves. We have been back for several spring breaks. In fact, we are already set for next year!
