THE APARTMENT This warm and cozy apartment offers an excellent pied-à-terre right in the heart of Bordeaux, in a lively and bustling yet quiet neighborhood! Completely renovated a few months ago, this tastefully decorated apartment in a beautiful, typically Bordeaux building will win you over with its privileged location in the city! Located on the street side of the 1st floor, it is fully equipped for your comfort (wifi, essentials, Nespresso coffee machine, hairdryer, TV, iron, fan). With 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed (140 cm), it's ideal for 4 people! A cot is also available (bed linen not supplied). The apartment has no parking. DEPOSIT A bank imprint of €250 will be required as part of the rental. In the form of a payment link and managed by the secure online service Swikly, it is compulsory and must be made before arrival in the accommodation. The amount is not blocked or debited, and does not affect your credit card limits. You will only have to pay a service charge of €3.30. Within 7 days of your departure, and subject to compliance with the general terms and conditions of sale and the property being returned in perfect condition, this transaction is automatically cancelled. EXCHANGE WITH TRAVELERS One of our receptionists will contact you the day before your arrival to arrange your check-in time. Arrivals are normally from 4 pm to 8:30 pm, but it is possible to arrive later, on request, with an extra charge of €10 per additional hour. BREAKFAST We offer a breakfast delivery service during your stay. Menus, details and prices will be available in the apartment, and you can also ask your concierge for more information. GETTING AROUND From Mérignac airport: Take tram A or bus 1 from the Mérignac Aéroport stop to the Gambetta Mériadeck stop, then take tram B from the Gambetta stop to the La Cité du Vin stop and walk 5 min. From Gare Saint Jean: Take tram C or D from Gare Saint Jean to Quinconces, then tram B from Quinconces to La Cité du Vin and walk 5 min. Street parking is free only from 7 pm to 9 am and on Sundays and public holidays. Half-day parking costs €15. THE NEIGHBORHOOD The ideal setting for a short stay or a long weekend. The beautiful buildings are an excellent indication of the new Bordeaux. The land once belonged to a former Carthusian monastery (Chartreux in French, which leads to the current name, Les Chartrons), drained by the Dutch in the 17th century. It was once home to English, Scottish, Irish, Scandinavian and German merchants, who built fine houses and cellars. Cours Xavier Arnozan (formerly Pavé des Chartrons) is one of the city's most aristocratic and elegant streets. It was always a sign of social status to live on the "Pavé" in the last century. We recommend the Quai des Marques, an ideal location with parking and streetcar stop nearby, where you can shop and brunch in an open-air café overlooking the Jacques Chaban-Delmas bridge. And let's not forget the new Musée International du Vin, just a 5-minute walk away! A must. The apartment is well located next to the train station and other means of transport. This can mean that you might hear some noise from the road, but if this doesn't bother you much it is a great apartment.
The facilities are great. Even if you had to pay an extra Euro 49 on top of your normal fee for linen and towels, the price is very good for what you get.
Will definitely consider this in the future.

El apartamento se correspondía con la descripción y fotografías del anuncio. Estaba muy cerca de la estación de tren lo que resultó muy conveniente y a 15-20 minutos andando del centro

Localização privilegiada, pois fica muito próximo da estação de trem. É muito bom para casais com filhos adolescentes por conta da escada interna ser íngreme e perigosa para crianças. É confortável e equipada. Tem privacidade e é tranquilo.

L'appartement est bien moderne bien équipé et correspond bien au descriptif.
La localisation est bien pour l'accessibilité, car proche de la gare, mais qui dit proche de la gare dit proche des nuisances aussi : beaucoup de SDF, odeur d'urine et de poubelle très forte juste devant l'entrée, bruit de klaxonne et de gens qui crient dans la rue même la nuit.
Nous avons loué pour un mois complet, au bout de 3 jours dans l'appartement il s'est mis à pleuvoir et de l'eau s'est mise à couler à travers le plafond de manière abondante (j'ai rempli un saladier en 15 mins). J'ai prévenu immédiatement l'agence qui gére le bien. Silence radio pendant 10 jours puis on va prendre en compte, au final rien n'a été fait jusqu'a la fin du séjour! Le plafond a coulé plusieurs fois pendant le séjour. Apparemment le problème avait déjà été signalé par d'autres et le propriétaire continu à louer le bien dans cet état ! C'est inadmissible au prix demandé 2250€ le mois.

As the property is right in front of the central station, which is super convenient when traveling green by train or bike (huge secured bike parking facility), it does have its serious down sides. Companies that rent out apartments do this to make money. All fine but some really want to make a quick buck. They tend to the basics without really thinking what the key elements are that make a stay comfortable. I bet no one from the agency ever slept here to experience their own offer. Because if they had, they would have learned that when you open the windows in the evening to cool the apartment, an unpleasant mixture of urine and diesel smells fills the apartment. And on top it is impossible to sleep due to the noise that busy stations make all night. So in short an airconditioning is a necessity of life to survive in this apartment especially during 38 degree summers. And then if the staff would have spend a night to test drive the apartment they would have noticed that all the bed cushions give you serious neck hernias. Perhaps good to invest in some quality cushions instead of 10 euro ones from Ikea.

The apt is good in location , clean & modern. The only flaw when raining, the living room area is leaking from the roof. Water is drippings non stop & wet floor is happening. The living room lighting is not working due to the leaking prob.

Très bon séjour
Excellent emplacement, appartement bien organisé pour un/deux couples. Seul regret : l'appartement n'est pas climatisé, il fait très chaud en temps de canicule.

Bel appartement proche de la gare
Tout était parfait excepté l'absence de climatisation, l'appartement est immédiatement sous les toits, la chaleur nous a empêché de dormir confortablement.
