Welcome to the Blue Ridge Mountains! This one bedroom studio in the Rumbling Bald Resort is close to Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville and Tryon. It's the perfect start to adventure or relaxation! Apple Valley Villas is a cozy spot with all the basic amenities you need during your visit to the Lake Lure area. The space is equipped with a kitchen, full bathroom and a living room/sleeping area. The tv can be enjoyed from any area in the room. The king sized bed is plenty of space for two people to rest comfortably. If you need additional sleeping area, the sofabed is brand new with a Sealy mattress. Its double size can comfortably sleep two children or one adult. The kitchen table has two drop leaves to give you plenty of room to walk around it or for two people to sit and have a meal. If you open the leaves, then the table can actually accommodate eight people, which is perfect if you are also renting the adjoining unit and want to dine or play games together. Almost any meal could be prepared in the villa using the cooktop, microwave or toaster oven. Enjoy a complimentary pot of coffee on your first morning. Step out onto the balcony for a breath of fresh air. Settle into one of the four outdoor chairs and read a good book or just relax. Guest passes are complimentary with your reservation to access the member areas of the Rumbling Bald Resort, including two outdoor pools (seasonal), spa complex with indoor pool and exercise room, miniature golf, boating, hiking and two championship golf courses. On site restaurants offer delicious and readily available options.

The studio apt is cozy, clean and has everything you need! It's a short drive to Rumbling Bald resort and has free passes to use their facilities! There is also a convenience store a 5 minute walk away. The studio also has a sleeper sofa where 2 small children would be comfortable! Definitely recommend!

Perfect studio mountain/lake villa for myself and 2 sons! We were close to both chimney rock and lake lure! My kids loved mini golf and basketball at the clubhouse! The twinkle lights on the balcony at night was my favorite way to wind down the action packed day! Casey was great with sending any info i needed for the rental and answered all of my touristy questions! Will definitely book again!

Overall the place was clean . The bathroom window latch was broken and wouldn't lock. It was nice that we had access to the indoor pool at Rumbling Bald resort because it rained almost all weekend, other than that we had a great stay.

Place was very nice. Most important we had was heating. Was so cold during our stay. We were comfortable. Also, was quiet. Bed was also very comfortable and we felt safe. Host was very quick to response every time we text her. We had a wonderful time in this property. Highly recommended.

I wanted to take a solo trip for the first time in my 27 years on this earth, and I wanted to stay near Asheville. I chose Lake Lure because of its proximity, but also because I wanted to be in the woods so I could have a nice and relaxing escape. I couldn't have picked the more perfect spot with this listing! The bed is big and comfy with plenty of pillows, the heater in the bathroom was perfect for showering in the colder months, and the TV was plentiful with options for when I was tucked in for the night. There wasn't much traffic on the road outside the villa, but the traffic that was there was hardly noticeable. I woke up to see the sunrise one morning and sat on the back porch with a cup of tea (complimentary in the kitchenette!) And watched the sunrise and heard the birds chirping. If you're looking for a serene get away, definitely book here! The host was in constant communication, and the check out instructions were easy to complete. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend getaway location. Clean, comfortable unit. Easy access to Rumbling Bald resort. Lots of recreational things at the resort. Very family friendly resort.

Warm and cozy
My girlfriend and me stayed here for a weekend getaway and couldn't be more satisfied with the location and comfort we experienced. The villa was clean and warm with all the amenities you will need. I recommend purchasing guest passes to the Rumbling Bald Resort which is just 5 minutes down the road. There we enjoyed some time in the steam room, hot tub and indoor pool after a long hike on the Rumbling Bald Loop Trail, also took advantage of the outdoors playing miniature golf and corn hole. Visited Chimney Rock which was a short 20 minute drive, couldn't ask for a more perfect weekend!

Roomy Studio Condo
The location was perfect for our needs. The wedding we attended was only a mile down the road and the Victory Kitchen 1/4 mile down the road was great for breakfast. The Legends on the lake also had delicious food. The studio always had a nice cool breeze and we loved the porch. Bed was super comfy. This was a winner. Casey was great to communicate with as she was very prompt and helpful.

I had to use the plunger and many times chose to avoid using it, which was very inconvenient. Casey was very responsive, but the final repair took several days. I would have liked to have been offered a partial refund for the inconvenience.

Conveniently located near lake lure.
Nice studio for a visit to Rumbling Bald resort. The studio is a short drive from the lake. We enjoyed morning coffee in the patio every morning. Well equipped, if small, kitchen. We didn’t actually cook more than eggs but I did see that the kitchen had everything (except maybe a cutting board). We walked our dog down the road in the mornings. It’s off the main highway so traffic is not too bad.
