Nestled in Lake Lure, this lovely villa for R 1,980 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to the Blue Ridge Mountains! This one bedroom studio in the Rumbling Bald Resort is close to Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville and Tryon. It's the perfect start to adventure or relaxation! The unit has hardwood flooring through the living space and tile in the bathroom areas. It boasts one of the best views in the entire complex. Apple Valley Villas is a cozy spot with all the basic amenities you need during your visit to the Lake Lure area. The space is equipped with a kitchen, full bathroom and a living room/sleeping area. The tv can be enjoyed from any area in the room. The king sized bed is plenty of space for two people to rest comfortably. If you need additional sleeping area, there is also a sleeper loveseat available. Its double size can comfortably sleep two children or one adult. Almost any meal could be prepared in the villa using the cooktop, microwave or toaster oven. Enjoy a complimentary pot of coffee on your first morning. Step out onto the balcony for a breath of fresh air. Settle into one of the four outdoor chairs and read a good book or just relax. Guest passes are complimentary with your reservation to access the member areas of the Rumbling Bald Resort, including two outdoor pools (seasonal), spa complex with indoor pool and exercise room, miniature golf, boating, hiking and two championship golf courses. On site restaurants offer delicious and readily available options. All six passes must be left in the unit after checkout or a $30.00 replacement fee will apply.

This condominium was perfect for me as a single traveler. Everything I needed. Plus it was spotless! It has a beautiful view and a very central location if you’re interested in the lake lure or chimney rock area. Great hiking!

Has a wonderful time, property was clean and homey. A book of nearby ammenities, such as a grocery store, would have been great. The little gas station across the street was stocked ok, but prices were insanley high. Lack of cell signal in the area made it difficult to look up nearby grocery stores.

The perfect studio for active folks mainly looking for a place to regroup and sleep. We were at Lake Lure for a family reunion and rented two additional large homes as a base for family dinners. The majority of our days were spent on the lake, hiking or enjoying the amenities of Rambling Bald. The bathroom layout was perfect for adults - having the shower and toilet together and then a separate vanity and dressing area. The kitchen was perfect for preparing a light breakfast and prepping lunches to go. My favorite thing about the unit was the beautiful porch. The perfect place for morning tea and watching the sun rise. The only improvement would be with the beds. The king mattress was soft and I would only recommend the pullout for children. As an adult, the only way to sleep comfortably was to put the mattress on the floor. All in all though the studio was very nice and served our needs well! Casey the host was easy to work with and always responded when I had a question.

We used this stay for a trip to Tryon Equestrian for a Pony Club 4 day event. Perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults). Unfortunately we were not able to use all the amenities included, ie the pool and etc. Would highly recommend this place for nice getaway

We LOVED our stay here. I’m very big on cleanliness and this was exactly as advertised. This was the perfect location as well. Only a 3 minute drive into the resort area. We brought our two dogs and loved the big open fields where they could be taken out instead of in the woods! The property manager was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

It’s a small condo, but we still managed to make it work with 4 people. The little store within walking distance was a nice plus. The decor was cute, the bed was nice and I loved the balcony. Owner was very prompt in answering my questions.

The location is perfect and convenient to Rumbling Bald Resort. The resort has everything you need to have a fun stay, loved exploring the mountains. The villa is only about 30 minutes to Chimney Rock. The villa has everything you need and styled very well. There is spotty service until you get connected to the room WiFi, so have all you codes and such downloaded with you before heading up the mountain. The only thing I would say as far as the bill goes is more light in the water closet would be nice. Other than that it was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it. This is a great place to unplug and just enjoy Gods beautiful earth.

This place is phenomenal. Perfect spot for a couple or couple with 2 kids. This home is decorated like it's from HGTV! It is beautiful and you feel like you're at home! They have packed everything you need into this place but it doesn't feel cluttered at all. They have thought of everything. My wife and I forgot to bring our UNO cards, but when we arrived there was a drawer with UNO cards and other games. The fireplace with heat optional is a great touch! The resort amenities are AMAZING! Make sure to check out the beach, Puttputt, corn hole, basketball, Lap pool, lazy river, indoor pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, and the fitness trail. The views from the Rambling Bald resort are AMAZING! The prices at the Rambling Bald Wellness Center gift shop were very reasonable for gifts and apparel. There is a gas station with a TON of stuff right near the home. Definitely try La Strada while you're in town!

Great location with plenty to do around the club and surrounding area. We took a boat tour of Lake Lure, checked out the welcome center that has Dirty Dancing and Last of the Mohicans(Sp?) Info from the filming of those movies in the area and we climbed Chimney Rock and enjoyed Chimney Rock Village while we were here.

The property was perfect for a long weekend in the Rumbling Bald community, which was exactly what we needed. It was clean, small but not cramped, has a nice balcony that was perfect for morning coffee, quiet neighbors, and easy access to the area. The only issue we had is that the property is listed as pet friendly and pets are allowed, but we were instructed (after booking) to keep pets off of the furniture. That's understandable with a cream colored, cloth upholstered couch, but it was not well received by our two small dogs who are used to joining us on the couch in the evening.
