Amazing staff and great accommodation in traditional hotel

It has this very traditional feel to it (even if it may not originally have been) but they make it look traditional and have great outdoor space. And flowers and it’s just pretty man. But the staff excels and one person I need to call out is Kevin who went above and beyond to accommodate all my questions and requests. He made the place extra special. And with a great attitude. Thanks Kevin!

It’s pretty great. It’s location is not in the center but it’s a 6 minute walk so who really cares

Nice

We had a large family room with traditional atmosphere and a small refrigerator. In the evening there was live music in the outside restaurant. In the morning there was a varied breakfast buffet. In a few minutes walking you find many restaurants and bars. The parking guardian was very friendly and helpful!

The air-conditioning in the room was operated automatically. Our room had a stairway that led to the children's beds and upstairs it wasn't cool because the air-conditioning wasn't strong enough.

Pros and cons but did not meet our expectations based on the reviews

We had high expectations but these were not met. Beds were not good-too soft. The entourage is nice and the breakfast good. But hearing live music in your room 3 nights in a row too much for us. Not until very late but later than our Kids go to sleep whicb was inpossible during the music. Cars are removed if You are blocked but That can take a while. I woud recommend it for a night-there are also upsights and the ambiance is nice but 3 nights was too much. We did like the excursion we booked via the hotel.

The late music was for us disturbing-aircon was defect when we arrived. Was repaired in a few hours but not nice upon arrival.

lovely place good staff.

it felt like an Oasis in Shkodra, beautifully traditionally decorated not like the big hotels. bar and restaurant area also very nice. Very convenient for the pretty pedestrian areas of Shkoder and walkable to the castle.

I booked a tour through them and the communication before we arrived was a bit hit and miss, though they were very helpful when we got there.

A great stay!

Beautiful design of the hotel. Rooms are kept in old style with a modern bathroom. Everything was clean and the fireplace was a lovely addition. Breakfast was really good.

Cozy rooms with modern amenities and a traditional touch. Friendly and helpful staff.

Bigger and more modern room than expected, but still with some old-world charm. Easy check-in and check-out, parking on premises and fantastic value for the money.

There was a cabinet and mini-fridge combo in the room with a bright light that couldn't be turned off without unplugging it and the heater.

Outstanding holiday at a beautiful place that was supported by a kind staff.

everything was fabulous! The staff was exceptional in their service to us. The antiques decorating the rooms and the restaurant were beautiful. The restaurant food was outstanding at every meal.

We did not care that smoking was allowed in the restaurant.

Amazing traditional stay with beautiful and comfortable rooms!!

Wonderful service, beautifully decorated hotel, restaurant and rooms. Staff communication even before arrival. Booking states no parking but there are options! Wonderful restaurant and I didnt book a table (forgot but wanted to have dinner there) but they anticipated and reserved just in case! Even though it was a musical special event! Amazing and so tasty food!

Traditional Albania

All of it. The hotel had live music on the Friday we were there and it was great! The food and wine were were very good too!

The warm reception is guaranteed

the room price is not commensurate with the type of service, in short, the TV does not work and does not have any local or foreign channels, the lighting is weak in the room and the bathroom, the breakfast is very poor, all olives, jam, a piece of bread, a glass of juice and one egg

Convenient old world charm

Most of the property is as advertised. The rooms are authentic old world charm. The breakfast was fine. And other meals are well portioned. The reception staff was SUPER helpful trying to book a taxi for me.

There are 3 wings. I had booked the "Traditional" room, but was given a completely modern room in the back. Reception said it's because they sometimes have live music quite late (didn't happen on my night). I had to ask to move to the originally booked room.

Very nice stay in a traditional style hotel, walking distance from the center of Shkoder

Rooms are decorated in traditional style, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Great shower, everything very clean. The whole building is traditional, with a beautiful, large courtyard where meals can be taken. We had a very good, very affordable dinner there. The buffet breakfast had a lot of choices, Albanian and western. We loved the atmosphere of the place. Private parking, efficient and friendly staff, English speaking.

BEAUTIFUL TRADITIONAL & ANTIQUE COMFORT

LOCATION = The hotel is in the middle of the city with free parking. However it can get busy so you might need to call ahead to reserve a spot. TRANSPO/ACCESIBILITY = Not wheelchair friendly as they don't have an elevator/lift going to the rooms. INTERIOR = BEAUTIFUL! Traditional Albanian interior with amazing craftsmanship. The courtyard is perfect for morning breakfast & dinner. VIBE = Traditionally Albanian, antiques everywhere. Relaxed and family friendly vibe. FACILITIES = No pool, restaurant, Courtyard FOOD = 4/5. Breakfast had plenty of options. ROOM = Traditional +antique décor. Big bed. Clean toilet & Bath. Basic toiletries provided. PETS = Allowed.

TRANSPO/ACCESIBILITY = No elevator/Lift so if you have heavy luggage it will a challenge. FOOD =I suggest to putting covers for the food during buffet breakfast. There were plenty of flies & hornets touching the food. ROOM = The AC was not cold enough.

Hospitality is great but the tour package is not good.

I like the hospitality and assistance of every singlw staff

The package they offer to valdone to Theth is quite not practical and ideal. The guide they have given is in a hurry to go back to valdone and we have to hurry in our trek also. There is a lack of communication from hotel Tradita to valdone and theth starting from the ferry.
