Was going to stay, and got scamed by a local outfitter. Needed to relocate 3 hours south, and no refund offer and just an insulting reply that I should have done my research better. Very unprofessional. We did not even see the place, and they are charging everything even the standard cleaning fee. That is extremely dishonest.
I would not support such businesses.

We enjoyed the cabin, hot tub was good, place was clean and organized

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well kept. Communication with host was easy and prompt.
The fireplace was not working, but the central heat and air worked very well. We had a wonderful birthday getaway.

The cabin was wonderful. With a double-sided propane fireplace and loft that added to the unique and charming ambiance. Located in the forest/mountain-like area, we were still in the central part of town and access to everything we wanted and needed was close and convenient. Without a doubt, I would stay here again and recommend this property.

The cabin was very clean and cute. We loved that the fireplace was in doubled sided for the bedroom and living room. The hot tub was nice, and we liked that it was under the covered patio. The communication with the host was very prompt and answered all of our questions. We will definitely stay at this cabin again!

This home has everything you need to relax and adjust your mind set. The home was easy to find and very clean. I believe we utilized every amenity they offered. The fire place was beautiful and it was wonderful that it went through from the living room to the bedroom. The claw bathtub was perfect for a nice relaxing soak. We lit a fire in the fire pit one afternoon and just sat and read, enjoying the quiet. There was a nice gas grill provided that we used to make a nice dinner. And at the end of the day soaking in the hot tub was amazing!! We went in December and the Christmas tree was a charming touch. The host was on top of everything even checking in to see if we settled in ok. If I could I would have never left. Will definitely be back.

Great little cabin. The place was very clean. Had all necessary items like towels, extra blankets, hot tub, coffee, and even great soaps in the bathroom.
It is located close to decent food and entertainment.

My husband and I wanted a little cabin for a few day getaway. as i was searching online to try to find the perfect one i came across the Cascade which appeared to be the best fit for us. once we arrived - the smell of pets immediately hit us. even though the listing itself says no pets (which was a key factor in us choosing this one) you could most definitely tell someone had just had a dog in there. dog hair plastered all over the rug in the living room under the coffee table - on the couch and all over the throw pillows on each side of the sofa. the smell was absolutely awful. Visible dust and dirt in multiple places. Very cheap shower curtain with broke or missing hooks so it wouldn’t close correctly. Hand soap dispenser in the bathroom does not work. While all of this was manageable (but annoying) the one thing that made us decide we would never stay again - was the sheets. The sheets were NOT CLEANED in between guests. they were NOT washed. (we took pictures when we arrived) There was very thick (beard like) hair and dog hair everywhere on the white sheets: very very obvious that someone had slept there the night before. There was a towel in the bathroom with a green smudge hand print on it that was not a stain. it just felt dirty and we spent a good portion of our time just trying to get it to where we could feel comfortable. it worked for the few days of solitude we craved - but we will not be back.

If you’re here for the restaurants, breweries and boutiques, they’re about 10 minutes away. Close enough. But if you’re here peace and quiet and to be near the park, you can’t get a closer cabin. The lake and trails are minutes away and you get the privacy and quiet being tucked back off 259 (no noise from the lumber trucks on 259). Depends on what you want I guess. I like that the you can be on a trail in 10 minutes. Also I like that this cabin is in southern Hochatown because if you need Walmart, it’s only 10 minutes south in Broken Bow. The open concept and high ceilings make the cabin feel larger than the 1,000sq foot listed. TV was massive and HD, with all the streaming apps preloaded. Wifi was fast and performance of webcam work meetings was just like my home network. The window unit air conditioner upstairs will be really nice in the summer. The listing pictures are 100% accurate and if you plan on cooking, the fridge is full-sized, ice cold and the appliances are all electric and modern, including dishwasher and full-sized washer/dryer. There’s only one full bathroom but it’s really large with two sinks and tub/shower combo with adequate water pressure and fluffy, high quality towels. The kitchen is more well-appointed than I’d expect with a stocked Keurig, a spice rack, plenty of pots, pans and utensils, and appliances I wouldn’t expect like a blender, hand mixer and crock pot. When we stayed, there was tons of firewood which is a huge time and cost savings.

The cabin was beautiful. The owners stayed in contact and where very easy to get a hold of when we had a couple of simple questions. My wife LOVED the bathroom and hot tub. This was the perfect getaway for us and exactly what we needed.

Great place to get away for a weekend. The cabin is equipped for anything you may need during your stay. There are plenty of cooking supplies, soft towels, and clean bedding provided by the host. The bathroom and hot tub were both very clean and maintained well. Host opened up a line of communication and checked on us if we needed anything. The cabin is right down the road from some great scenic spots and in the other direction there are places to eat and see in the small town.

For the youngsters. We are both oldsters and could not climb into the tub. Were also cautious walking across the rock gravel and going up the porch steps. Still a 5 star stay.

Great property to stay in with more than enough room for my wife, 2 children and myself. Zielke and Trang were great hosts who answered all of my questions promptly, in a very helpful manner. We'll try and stay here again the next time we're in Broken Bow!

The cabin is clean, and as same as shown on the website. The hottub is within the fence so it’s private. All the cooking pots and spices are available. There is no oil so if you need oil to cook something, bring your own.

We booked this property for a last minute stay and we loved it! Close to all the fun stuff but far enough away out of the busy of the town. Cabin was very clean and check in instructions were very clear! The ONLY downfall we had was the rocky driveway, it was hard to get out if because its on a hill, luckily we were in a truck with 4 wheel drive. Otherwise we will be back!

Very nice cozy well designed lodge.
The interior design was very stylish and relaxing!
and It was perfectly cleaned and comfortable.
We talked about how we wished we had stayed a few more days when we arrived!
The laundry was available, so it would be perfect for a longer stay.
I would definitely stay there again if I had the chance!
The hosts, Zielke and Trang, communicated very well with us, so we didn't have to worry about anything. They are very nice hosts!

We had a great stay at the Cascade cabin. It was VERY clean which is always a huge concern of mine. My son loved the hot tub even if it is June! Cabin was overall beautiful. The upper room does stay warmer than the cabin because heat does rise but they have fans to help with the air circulation.

The property is extremely close to everything from a great butcher, Mountian Man meats, and grocery shopping, to the entrance to the National Park for hikes, and a plethora of family activities and restaurants. The property is immaculate and came with all we needed to make our stay like it was our home away from home. Huge soaking tub, as well as a private hot tub for soaking after long hikes, Kitchen, and well-stocked spice rack for cooking, coffee, and a Keurig coffee maker, to the Smart TVs (even includes a HDMI cable if you wanted to bring your own device). We would definitely book this place again

Everything was great except the A/C unit was set on heat and was locked, so it was very hot!

My wife and two teenage sons and I had a wonderful time in Houchatown while staying at The Cascade property. It was clean and well kept. It’s tucked away in a neat wooded area with a little stream that runs by it. Very peaceful. My boys really enjoyed the classic arcade video games circa 1984!! I haven’t played Centapede and Space Invators in A very long time. Fun fun. The jacuzzi got a lot of use and was very nice after hiking the trails in Beaver Bend State Forest. I highly recommend for a small family that needs a getaway and some together time.
