This property was perfect for our family’s! We rent 2 cabins every year for the past 8 years, one in June and one in December and this cabin was one of the cleaner properties we have stayed at. They had most everything you need.
We were contacted by Jamie while we were there to see if we needed fire wood and when we couldn’t get the pilot light on the deck to light, I text her and she called me immediately when I didn’t respond back to her immediately and within the hour (maybe 30 minutes later) someone was there to light it for us.
The BEST guest service we have ever experienced!

We has a wonderful stay. The property is gorgeous. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 kids. Our host was very responsive. The kids enjoyed hours upstairs in the game room and on the playscape. We didn't manage to catch any fish from the pond, though. The only negative was the pilot light for the outdoor fireplace kept blowing out. It might be time for them to replace it. Overall 10/10

Thank you for granting us the opportunity to spend time at your stunning cabin this past weekend. My family and I cherished every moment of our stay. The ambiance and setting were truly exceptional. Location was amazing, enjoyed the pond view!

It was perfect! Beautiful house. Beautiful views. My only comment is to make sure you don’t forget your soap or shampoo. They had everything else and you can’t beat the location

I lost my husband in May. I decided to get together with my 4 adult children, their spouses, my 2 grand children and my mom and spend a few quality days together as a family, reminiscing and celebrating my husband! We had a wonderful stay. There are a few items that are needing updating at the cabin we stayed at. The fridge is a little janky, and the outdoor furniture is in dire need of replacement. We wished the outdoor fireplace pilot had not been turned off for the summer as it rained hard while we were there and made using outdoor fire pit tricky! Otherwise, awesome trip!

This house had enough entertainment to really not have to leave. The kids had their own room to watch TV and a pond to fish (Brim=super fun, catch & release) Arcade games and the coffee table in the living room was full of board games - even Chess and pool table upstairs. Loved the cool evenings and hot tub too! We could have used another lounge chair for inside visiting but made it work. Kitchen was well equipped.

Relaxing Time
My family and I had a very good time. The cabin is comfortable, has all the amenities we need, and the patio is very spacious. Most of all, we love the pond view.

This place was perfect for our group. It was very clean and tidy. The game room was a huge hit. Enjoyed the view from the back deck. The pond was very nice! We will definitely stay here again!

Nice house, but smaller than expected. Still great for our family. Definitely needs more closet space or drawers.
Had a few issues (coffee pot was not cleaned before we got there, problem with fireplaces, dining room bench needs updating - needs chairs, grill needed new knob)

Love the Pond
I am a wildlife artist and I love spending time in nature. The pond view was great. The cabin is fantastic. It has everything we needed. Very rustic and convenient. Would definitely come back.

It was a nice stay. There was a green stain on my bath towel. One bedroom had black on sheet and washcloth. The couch wouldn't recline when lifted the handle. Since we play games we needed more comfortable chairs at the dining table but the table was really pretty. It was nice and big enough for our group of 10. The benches seemed pretty wobbly. We loved being by the pond so the kids could fish. The drive thru drive was a plus for us and our trailers with sxs's. We ran out of toilet paper so all we had was the roll that came on it. One bathroom had one extra roll. Luckily, we had some in our sxs's. With 10 people we needed more than 4 trash bags but we were able to use our Walmart sacks.

This was our fifth trip to the broken bow area, in the past six years. We always look forward to our spring break in Hochatown. The pictures of the whistling duck were very misleading. We thought the rooms would be a little bit bigger. Especially the bunk room, it was a little scary for our teenagers and very cramped. We had to call the manager for help with getting the patio fireplace going. They were prompt and came right away. We also had Two smoke alarms that were chirping. The guy also tended to those. One started chirping again and chirped all night long! We took it down off the wall. Our family had a wonderful time.
