About this house rental
Located in Okaloosa Island, this lovely house for R 18,275 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Literally steps from the water, this spacious 3-story, 3 bed, 3.5 bath townhome features spectacular ocean views and is located on Okaloosa Island, in beautiful Fort Walton Beach. The Sea Turtle House is named for the 4 baby sea turtles that tried to visit us in the fall of 2020. Luckily, they all made it safely to the ocean. Newly renovated with all-new appliances, bathrooms, flooring, windows, and doors, you will enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private balconies overlooking the white sands of the Emerald Coast. Hit the surf with included beach toys: 2 Kayaks (single and double), a stand-up paddle board, skim boards, boogie boards, beach towels, and beach chairs/umbrellas. Fully equipped, so just bring your swimsuit. Restaurants and entertainment are just around the corner. Sleeping accommodations include Bedroom #1 on the lower level with a Queen bed. The other 2 bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. Bedroom #2 features a Queen bed and double bunk beds (sleeps 6 and great for kids) and Bedroom #3 is huge with a King bed and breathtaking ocean views. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. There is a Queen sized pullout Scandinavian Design couch in the living room on the 2nd floor that also sleeps 2. The 1/2 bath is located on the 2nd floor. There is also a portal crib. A gas grill and a large picnic table on the patio of the first floor are perfectly suited for outdoor dining. The balcony on the 2nd floor features a round dining table along with a seating area. It is the perfect place to relax with a cocktail. Start your day on the balcony of the 3rd floor with your coffee in the morning while you watch the sunrise. Both decks are new and were constructed with aluminum structures and railings. This smart house comes equipped with high-speed Wifi in case you need to do a little work on your vacation. Speaking of work, there is a private dedicated workspace so you can have a view while you work from your home away from home. 4 Smart TVs allow you to view your personal streaming services. For those who like to go old school, we have board games, books, and puzzles for all ages if you want to take a break from the sun. We also have a telescope and binoculars so you can view the stars at night and the dolphins during the day. Destin and 30A are just a short drive away. Please note that you must climb stairs to enter the property. There are 4 exterior security cameras. One covers the parking lot, one covers the side yard, one covers the patio and the last one covers the main deck looking out to the ocean.

Our family enjoyed staying at the Sea Turtle House for Christmas. The townhouse on the water beachfront with 3B/3.5B was a wonderful experience. We regularly visit the Gulf Coast; this property was ideal for our family. It ranks among the best properties that we have stayed in. It is nicely decorated, spacious, clean, and well-stocked. We enjoy cooking some meals while on vacation, and this house has all the appliances/cookware you need to prepare a delicious meal. The owners even labeled the cabinets and drawers for your convenience.
The sunrises and sunsets from the private balconies are spectacular. The house is also convenient to Destin and many quality restaurants.
The host was very responsive and gave us a detailed Sea Turtle House information Packet before our arrival. The packet was handy and provided information from check-in instructions, parking, home features, access codes, restaurants, check-out instructions, etc.
We would not hesitate to stay at this property in the future.

This house will not disappoint anyone looking for a very clean, well equipped kitchen with a home owner that took care of all the little detail from games to extra sunglasses beach towels. Home owner is always available for any questions and was very accommodating. We will be back for our late winter vacation.

This house was absolutely gorgeous. This place was the best we stayed in. The view was a dream come true. I didn’t want to leave and neither did my husband or children. The host was very friendly and responsive. The house had everything you can think of that can be needed at a beach house. All was just so so cozy. It’s just so much to say but no words to describe the greatness. It sounds kind of weird but that’s how it is. We absolutely loved staying at Sea Turtle House. It was conveniently located, beautiful inside and out, tons of amenities; ample parking, kitchen is stocked with everything you might need, great outdoor/beach equipment, indoor games, even a tub of sunglasses! Great beach access with a spectacular view. The owners were very quick to respond when we had a cable issue as well. We would definitely stay here again if bringing the family to Ft.Walton/Destin area.

This rental is a slice of paradise. The home was beautiful, clean, and full of every possible amenity that might be needed during the stay. Amazing view of the beach with a short amount of steps to dip your toes in the water. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

It was a beautiful home, with everything we needed. It's location was perfect. Right on the beach, and a short drive to Destin. The home was full of everything we need, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, broad games, cards, and more. The patios had beautiful views of the ocean. I also enjoyed the bedding, very much.

My family of 6 adults, 3 teenagers, a 3 and 5 yr old spent Christmas thru New Years day. We can't say enough about it! Clean and Stocked! Location was convenient, enough space for 3 families and the start up supplies was nice.

We really enjoyed the place. It was very well appointed and user friendly. Every thing was most perfect. We did however feel that the cameras on the 2 porches were overkill an intrusive. The cameras should be placed elsewhere so one can vacation in private without the feeling that someone is watching them. There are other places for the cameras to be placed that would give one security at the same time providing vacation goers with privacy. Privacy is one of the top priorities in selecting a place to vacation. Other that that, zero complaints.

I highly recommend this property! I've been visiting Okaloosa Island for the last 20 years and this is the nicest place I have ever stayed. The listing and pictures are very accurate to what you get. The hosts are very attentive and the house is well appointed. We stayed over Thanksgiving and were able to make a great meal because the kitchen had everything we needed.
The house is beautifully furnished and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves. I especially loved the master suite, indoor fireplace and all the decks outside. Do yourself a favor and book this house for your next vacation. The beach and hosts don't get any better than this!

We loved the condo! It was super clean, and the owners thought of everything to make our stay perfect! The photos and descriptions are spot on. The view from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom is incredible. When wanting to hang out inside, everything is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Then there are so many choices of places to hang outside between the bottom floor patio, the main floor deck and the balcony off of the master bedroom and they each have multiple comfortable seating options. Then the best part of it all…. there is nothing better than having the beach in your back yard!

This property was awesome! Just steps away from the beach! It was great to have umbrellas and comfy chairs on hand as well as all of the water toys. The kids (and grownups) really enjoyed getting out on the water with the kayaks and paddleboard. The communication with the owner was perfect. Every time our group had a question it was answered within minutes. 5 star stay!

Everything was perfect! The location of the spacious clean townhouse was close to all restaurants and shops but more importantly, steps from the ocean! Literally steps! This house was clean, decorated beautifully, and the windows allowed for the perfect view of the sunrise upon waking in the morning and ocean. Everything you could possibly need was available. From chairs, umbrellas, toothbrushes/paste, shampoo, body wash, outdoor shower to rinse off, beach towels, boogie boards, coffee - everything! Plenty of sleep options, night lights which were perfect for my kids and quiet. The pdf print out the week prior to our scheduled vacation let us know everything available to us in the home, instructions for check in and check out as well as near by restaurants. There were even games to play when the weather didn’t cooperate and my kids loved the army men. When we had trouble with the A/C, we contacted Mr and Mrs Clark who responded immediately and had repair personal at the property to fix the a/c the same day. Everything - absolutely perfect! Thank you for a great vacation! We wouldn’t have minded staying another week or two! Or more…. 😄

If you want to enjoy your vacation stay, this is the place. The property owners are great, reliable with their description of their beautiful home. Communication is on point ! Kitchen complete with all you need to cook for your family. Absolutely beautiful, plenty of room for your family. Extras are provided that we didn`t even consider. Literally steps away from a gorgeous beach, which we thought was not as crowded as other beaches we had been to. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Without a doubt the best beach house we’ve ever vacationed in! Everything is there waiting for you to hit the beach as soon as you arrive. Was stocked with just about everything you can think of…all you need are your personal belongings. Very spacious and extremely clean! The views are spectacular from the balconies and the private beach access is a plus for families with young children. They owners have kept in touch with all the information needed for a most perfect beach vacation! We are already planning our next stay at the Sea Turtle House!

The house look just like the photos. It was clean and neat.they supplied just about everything you need just bring your personal stuff and you are ready to go. Plenty of parking for multiple cars and easy to get in and out of the property. Would not hesitate to rent from Dave again. P.S. for the older folks there are alot of steps in the house.

Breathtaking does not describe this property adequately. In a sea of 10 story high rises stands a small group to townhouses. View was beautiful - right on the ocean. Recently remodeled - could be featured in a travel magazine. Huge master bedroom - same size as living room. Two wall of windows overlooking ocean in living room as well as master bedroom.. Everything decorated within the last year. Island vibe. Could easily see living in this townhouse year-round. Have spent many years traveling all over the world - 50+ countries. this is one of the nicest laid back trips I have ever taken. Will come back again without question.
