This host had not given me instructions by 4:00, was on the phone with VRBO they also could not reach him so they cancelled my reservation, after that call 20 min later and after i made a reservation at hotel the host sent me a message with details. Now VRBO says they will not give me a refund. They cancelled not me! Now they say they have no notes stating that conversation ever happened.

The Robin's nest cabin is the perfect size for our family. The location is great, very short drive to the restaurants and activities. Will definitely be staying here again!

AWFUL. Unfortunately this has been the most unprofessional encounter I've ever experienced. We started reaching out to the host 5 days prior to our stay after reading that other guests had trouble getting their check in info on time, and like everyone else, got no response. We spoke with Vrbo techs on the phone every day for those 5 days who assured us we would be let in to the cabin which ended up not being true. We informed the host we would be driving four hours to the cabin and we were concerned with others reviews because they had not been able to get in contact with them, but for five days, they still did not respond. we decided to drive to broken Bow anyways because the trip had already been paid for for two months and we were hoping that by the time we got there we would hear something back which we did not. Our check in time was 4:00 PM and after sitting at the cabin until five with no contact from the host, we decided to find another place to stay, since we were four hours from home and had nowhere to sleep. An hour and a half after booking another place to stay the "host" FINALLY messaged to inform us that the cabin was ready but STILL did not offer up any check in instructions. I would urge all of you to really think twice before booking a stay in this cabin. I am not sure why these people should still be allowed to list the property on this website after the stress they have caused not only us but obviously many others as well.

I was already skeptical from reading the past reviews on this host and rightly so. Booked this cabin for me and my husbands NYE getaway. I messaged the morning of check in to get a jump on the check in process. Messaged again at noon to tell her our ETA. Finally at 2:30 got a message that the cabin was double booked and she had switched us to another one. In an RV PARK! No thank you. Vacation ruined.

I read in the reviews about not being able to get into the property upon arrival from others--- it happened to us. The wrong code was given to us on our confirmation info. The host was not available and we had to call VRBO. Once in, it is a nice (slightly tight) cabin. The kitchen table is way too large for the space and less-well equipped.

We enjoyed the cabin so much. Could have been a tad bit cleaner but with us checking in on thanksgiving day we understand that employees were just trying to get home to their families as well. Would definitely come back

The property was lovely but it is hard to enjoy when checking is at 4 and the housekeeper is still there at 6:30 at night. The host was unavailable to contact until 5:30 or 6:00 drier wasn’t working no dry towels or sheets.

It’s a nice cabin in a great location. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired but it’s not horrible, it’s just not great.
However, the property management is awful. We sent a message 15 minutes prior to arriving at the cabin saying we were close and please send us the check in info. We received nothing. Finally, 45 minutes later we got a message telling us the ins and outs of the cabin but it didn’t include the cabin’s door code.
We still couldn’t get in! We messaged again. Nothing. Finally we called customer support who was great and able to get in touch with the property manager, get the code and finally we were able to start our vacation.

I had zero contact with the host. She never responded to us and we got lucky the cleaning lady let us in. All the reviews say the host was impossible to reach so I would recommend not letting her host anymore. The cabin was fun though but the host situation ruined it at the beginning.

I kept trying to call and text the property manager but they were not answering. Looking at the other reviews they have a habit of sending the code super close to the time you’re suppose to be there. When you get there make sure to let them know if anything is broken otherwise they will try to charge you for it. The handle on the fridge was broken and they tried to say we broke it. We washed the dishes took out the trash and swept the whole house they still had the audacity to say we left a mess. Lovely cabin but would NOT recommend or ever go back. When they tried to say we broke the fridge handle and left a mess I let them know it was already broken and asked what mess we left. Their response was just an automated “thank you for staying with us”.

We received no email or contact otherwise from the property manager regarding the access instructions. We messaged them on Vrbo and called the listed #, which was “not receiving calls” at our check-in time. Thankfully, Vrbo customer support found the door lock access code on file, otherwise we would have had no way into the cabin. Over 48 hours later and we still have not heard from the manager. I wonder how quickly they would have contacted us if the $550 payment bounced.
The cabin was noted to be in very neat condition with a minor exception. The fridge smelled of rotten meat and there was a pinkish liquid at the bottom of crisper drawers. That required cleaning so we could keep food in there.
The property overall was set up for a very good time. We enjoyed the cornhole sets, the fire pit, as well as the cozy porch. It was very disappointing to find that the hot tub smelled like a fish bowl/pond. I didn’t feel comfortable allowing my kids in there who looked forward to it. It was

Prior to our visit to the cabin I sent the Property Mgr a message. No answer ever! We had to contact VRBO - who also was unable to reach the property manger. Don't even try calling her because the phone doesn't allow for messages, or texts. Emails went unanswered. it was a very sketchy feeling to arrive and not get thru to her. Every message that did come from her was pre-scripted. No personal touch whatsoever. Upon arrival we had to wait for over 20 minutes outside the cabin w/2 dogs and in the 106 degree weather until she finally decided to send us the code to enter the cabin. As nice as this cabin is - it isn't up to par with some of the others we have stayed in. No hand soap, no dish soap, nothing for the shower. Also, there is no creek around there on the property as listed on the website. Everything else was nice but honestly the communication is the worst I have ever seen. Even after the stay I never received anything from her for the issues we had. I would NOT recommend this cabin due to the lack of care and communication especially for the price. We didn't even receive some credit back for the lack of being able to get into the property. The worst! Will not be back.

Beware!!! I gave this rating based solely on the lack of communication from the owner. We were scheduled to arrive on 6/29. I had received an email from VRBO on Monday 6/26 stating that I should have received access instructions. On Tuesday I still had not received anything so I messaged the owner through the VRBO app. That message went unanswered. I then sent her a text message on Wednesday which also went unanswered. By this time we are thinking the trip isn’t going to happen. We then call the credit card company to dispute the charge. Then I contacted VRBO who was of NO help telling me to give the owner 24 hours to respond after they were unable to reach them. This is NOT a way to conduct business. The very least the owner could have done was responded to let me know approximately when I could expect access information vs just NO communication. We are a 2 hour drive away. And to not receive access instructions until 30 minutes prior to arrival is totally absurd. I’m traveling with my 79 year-old mother so to have to make the drive to then potentially have to turn around and come back is a bit much. After reading the reviews, I can see that I am not the only one this has happened to.
The cabin is clean. The hot tub cover is awkward. In the pictures of the listing it shows a creek/stream which I thought was on the property. It isn’t. I even asked the property owner about this in a message. She couldn’t even respond with an answer

We enjoyed this cabin. It was perfect for us. Two adults, two young grandsons and two small dogs. It is located near the attractions we were interested in including the state park. The hot tub was a bonus!

everything was like posted. There is a firepit and plenty of places close by to get wood. I couldn't figure out how to watch tv in the master suite but didn't spend much time inside anyway. It was clean and had all the things you need. If you are coming through Broken Bow there is a walmart and larger grocery store in town.

We arrived in town and hadn't heard from the host how to access the property. I had sent her a message a week before and texted her a few days before our arrival about extending our stay, but didn't hear anything back. I didn't think much of it until I could not reach her by phone a few hours before check in. The automatic email said to contact the host for check-in instructions. We couldn't even leave a voicemail because there was just a message that said something like this phone number is not accepting calls. Very weird. We called VRBO and they couldn't reach her either. We had a small group arriving and we were starting to worry that we'd been scammed. It was now just 1h before our check-in time. We started calling other places to find a backup. We finally heard from the host 30 min before check-in with instructions. The host explained that she didn't have internet on her flight. I also have a property listed on VRBO and there are ways to provide check-in instructions well in advance.
Once we got in, it was a very cozy place, kitchen was stocked to do a little cooking, comfortable beds and furniture. The host was responsive after that point and let us check out late. Overall we had a nice stay, but wish we'd had better communication prior to arrival.

The property is located in the prime position to access Hochatown and the many restaurants, breweries, and attractions as well as Broken Bow and Broken Bow Lake. Far enough to see the stars brightly glowing at night and secluded enough for privacy. Enjoyed the very comfortable and cleans bed and shower. Very spacious and loved the coffee area and large hot tub enclosure. Overall I think you will enjoy this cabin.

We went to there for our pre-Christmas vacation and the first day there was no electricity in negative 30 degree. I have a baby, 2 small dogs and a 65y elder. The owner just say the electricity company will fix it. The electricity came back the first night to next morning. In the morning, the electricity was very low so heater, stove, dryer, fridge, some lights were not working at all. I told the owner, she did not help us and just let us stay in her house in negative 30 degree. I had to cook with fire in chimney. We left the second night around 8pm because without heater, I can't let a baby and elder stay over night. The owner also did not reply msg. I requested at least half refund, no reply at all.
If you stay there, you will ruin your vacation. Worst owner, I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The cabin was wonderful and we had so much fun ! I do have a few suggestions. When responding to the renter , please get ahold of them before the actual date. Please have a phone number that works and an email that someone responds too. Instructions for the hot tub. If I didn’t have my son in law with us, we wouldn’t of been able to use the hot tub because there was something wrong with the fuse. There wasn't any extra blankets for the couch bed and no soap in the bathroom.
This is not a criticism and we will be sharing our experiences with others , it was just a few things that we noticed could of helped if it happened to other people . It was a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay so much.
