Ponds on site with lots of fishing. Close enough to town to get what we need but far enough to be in the woods. Lots of space and amazing night views! Will return with the family

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean and had everything we needed. Pool table, dart & soccer table were perfect for the kids. Doing jacuzzi at night with so many stars in the sky was awesome!

The property sits on a large lot (I believe it’s 15 acres). There is a pond to fish in and cows that roam the property. At the cabin are a game room with foosball and pool table as well as TVs in the game room and living room where you can stream video from various services or stream music over Spotify or other services if you like. There are 3 bedrooms and multiple pull out couches to sleep a decent amount of people and the dining table is large enough for 8 or so. A nice place to get away for a few days.

The space was perfect for 5 adults and 2 children. We could gather together in the living spaces, and we had space for privacy too. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed the outside grill too. The Lazy Heifer met all our family's needs.

Place was nice to stay for our busted bow weekend. If it wasn't for the slow moving freight train and its horn after midnight, the stay would have been perfect (not the owner's fault). The cows were too scared to let even my 10 year old come close but that's okay with me. The game room TV didn't work but the other TV worked just fine. It got cold at night so the hot tub felt really good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days at the Lazy Heifer. The home was spacious, comfortable, clean, and well located. The pool table, deck, hot tub, and stock tank were so nice. Convenient to downtown, area attractions and scenic drives.

This place was perfect for our short little family vacation. The house had everything we needed! Melinda was awesome, any question I had she responded immediately! One of the air mattresses had a leak and I let her know and she offered to go buy another one. It rained and she offered for us to stay longer on Sunday! Can’t say enough about Melinda and her beautiful place! Would definitely stay there again!

The property was great for us, has a large driveway area for boat and trailer parking. Just far enough away from the lake and restaurants to get out of the weekend traffic. Is very close to a busy paved road with cars consistently driving fast, so if you have pets or kids, you need to keep a close eye on them. Ponds on property are great for the kids to play and fish.

5 of us stayed 3 nights at Tim and Melinda place just over a mile from downtown Broken Bow. Grilled burgers and steak and enjoyed the back deck and fire pit. Caught several fish and used hot tub house had everything we needed. Tim and Melinda were great hosts and we will stay again.

We loved this property. Close to everything bit not too close. 15 acres of property with cows and two ponds. My kids had a great time watching the cows in the property and my son spent hours near the ponds. The owner was super responsive and even came over on the first evening to help us get the bonfire started and chatted with us. Property was very well maintained and beds were firm which was perfect for us. Will definitely be back

My boys were entertained all day within the property itself: fishing in the pond, being around the cows, pool table, hot tub, making a fire, grilling and free range on this large property! This places is stocked and decorated so cute you will just love it. It is a little farther away from things as all the stuff we wanted to do was in Broken Bow but we couldn’t find a cute place that took dogs with a pond. This place has a pond and takes dogs so was perfect for us. I enjoyed looking at the cows in the back yard beyond the fence. The pond was green water and we did fish out of it. My dogs enjoyed lookkg at the cows. The front pond they did enjoy fishing in it in early morning before we left to Broken Bow. We saw deer a few times in front yard. Also, at night in drive home from dinner ( 20 mins) we saw wildlife on the road each night. The only downside is we could not figure out the remote control to watch a movie but that was due to we are not techies. The kids figured out the tv. Melanie did I leave a pair of tennis shoes there? I have lost a pair and wondered if that is where I left them? If so can you message me. Thanks for the cute cabin for our family.

The property is great, two ponds the kids could fish on. Very clean on the entire property. The house was in great shape, clean, pool table, dart board, and other games/yard games. Wifi worked great, house was very clean. No problems at all! Melinda, the host, was very easy to get ahold of and offered up many ideas and things to do with the kids! Very friendly. We did the Haunted Train, the entire family enjoyed the Broken Bow tradition. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Great place to stay in Broken Bow. Lots to do at the cabin even for our young kids that loved fishing or just sitting and watching the cows. Location is a just 15 mins away from Hotchatown for the tourist area and right by Walmart for anything forgotten. Great rental!

The house was beautiful inside and out. Clean, a bit modern, comfy and quiet. The added bonuses were the ponds and cattle on either side and the accessible location. The gaming amenities such as the pool table, darts and cornhole were great for the rainy days. Loved it here and can’t wait to return!

Nice house, very relaxing everything was in good shape. We would stay again if we go back. The only thing I didn’t care for is the road noise lots of logging / trucks up and down. This is just during the day but it’s still a nice place with lots of activities. The whole process was very easy and had no problems with communication.

Our family had an awesome time at The Lazy Heifer!! The location was close to all the things we wanted to do. Tim & Melinda were so accommodating and easy to reach! The fish ponds are full of BIG fish and easy for the kids to fish from. The house is adorable, fun and the bedrooms are comfortable!! We would book here again in a heartbeat!

The communication with the owner was amazing! We absolutely loved this little home away from home. It wasn’t too far from the river or the lake. There was plenty of space for all of us! The Lazy Heifer is a wonderful cabin! Check-in was easy, cabin was super clean, and the hosts were super nice. Great amenities and lots of cows roaming around in the connecting lot! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
