Great welcome from the owner and a very comfortable stay in an excellent property

Good layout, very comfortable beds, well equipped with all that we needed for our stay and it was very clean in all respects. Plenty of bird life in the garden to watch whilst relaxing and if that isn’t enough there was a large tv and good Wi-Fi

We didn’t stay long enough! Can’t think of anything we didn’t like

Lovely and well-equipped apartment

Very clean and well-equipped apartment. Quiet location but close to main street of Blackheath. Friendly hosts, and great information pack inside. Mary & Martin had clearly put a lot of thought into the decor, and had even added a few Christmas features due to our mid-December stay. The food supplied for breakfast was plentiful and varied.

A/C unit is in the lounge area and not the bedroom, so it was necessary to leave the bedroom door open to keep cool at night. (probably not a problem during most of the year up in the cool mountain air)

Nice place to stay

Very clean, spacious, well equipped apartment. Luvly garden that u can use. Close to restaurants. Very generous supply of breakfast items. Host very friendly and accommodating

Nice morning sun, after that Apartment a bit dark. The tiles in kitchenette area and bathroom are freezing cold. Maybe a rug or a couple of mats could help. A little bit of shampoo/conditioner would be nice, just for a day or two. A little bit too much info about the area's history ...right when u arrive.

A lovely weekend away in Blackheath

A wonderful stay! Martin gave us a very warm welcome including a tour of the apartment, lots of fabulous recommendations and a brief history of the Blue Mountains area. Martin and Mary were very accomodating but also gave us our privacy. We really appreciated the milk, English muffins, spreads and chocolate that was left for us. Although the heating in the living area does take some time to warm up as per other reviews, this wasn't an issue as there is an additional heater in the bedroom and the extra blankets kept us very comfortable and warm for our July stay. We hope to visit again to check out the recommendations we missed this time!

Fabulous host, great location and a lovely apartment

Great studio apartment ,great location and exceptional host.Martin took the time and trouble to show us around the property and suggested look - outs to explore and other places of interest.

Air conditioning unit took a long time to warm up. The sheets were good quality but rather stiff and felt cold. I would suggest perhaps cosier sheets as the bedroom was rather cool. Also on returning to property at night, side entrance not lit, was very dark, had to use phone light to navigate path.

Great value for money and we felt incredibly welcomed as our home away from home for the weekend!

The location was great, very close to the town centre. Martin was great, and gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We appreciated the small touches, such as providing milk, English muffins and chocolate amongst others snacks. It was clean and very comfortable.

The heater took hours to warm the place up unfortunately.

A great retreat.

The apartment was private and comfortable. The variety and amount of basic provisions were generous. The hosts were very welcoming. The outside space offered lovely sitting areas, with the bonus of visiting native birds and a fire pit.

There was nothing that we disliked. Although off-street parking was not available, as noted in the property description, it was not problematic.

Clean, convenient, everything you need, amazing location, warm. Amazing hosts, additional snacks provided, cozy blankets, great bathroom.

The door was extremely hard to open and close. Back room located next to room in host house, so can overhear conversations and noise from host house/they can hear us.

A most enjoyable stay in a beautiful and comfortable self contained unit. Will definitely revisit.

Warm welcome and help with luggage. Lots of extras in the fridge such as milk, muffins, butter, lunch pack.
