Situated in Kailua, this attractive house for R 25,132 per night is a great choice for your next break. This huge home with a pool and deck is just 4 houses from Kailua Beach. Featuring an indoor/outdoor floor plan with a private courtyard and pool perfect for family entertaining. An extensive remodel includes open bistro-style chef's kitchen, upgraded baths, heated pool, expansive master suite, and a gym room. A truly wonderful retreat in paradise! BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS There are 8 furnished bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms. 5 bedrooms have a queen bed each, 2 bedrooms have a king bed each, and 1 room has a full and twin trundle bed. All bedrooms have split AC units. KITCHEN There is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could possible need from wine glasses to pots and pans. The kitchen has an open plan with counter seating and an opening to the indoor/outdoor dining area. We also have 2 refrigerators thanks to a guest's feedback. DINING The dining area has seating inside for 8 with large sliding doors that open to the outdoor covered lanai with more seating available. There are also 5 bar stools at the kitchen island. LIVING ROOM There is a large open living room with sliding doors that open to the lanai (patio). There is AC in the living room. EXTRAS: The home also features: -Fast WiFi Connection throughout the property -HD Cable TV -Laundry Room w/ extra large Washer and Dryer -Dishwasher -Air Conditioning for all bedrooms and living room. There is no AC for the kitchen and dining room, but there are huge sliding doors that bring in cool trade winds. -Outdoor Shower -Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, -Pac n Play -Gym room with cross trainer and free weights -Plenty of parking spaces on the property for our guests. -Office Den -Private driveway and gate -500+ thread count cotton sheets for all bedrooms -Outdoor BBQ Grill LOCATION AND ATTRACTIONS: This home is located on the beachside of Kalaheo Avenue, a 2 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Kailua Beach. With miles of soft white sand, turquoise water and gentle breezes, Kailua Beach is a local favorite. Water sports such as windsurf, body board, kayak, paddle boarding and para sail are also available. If you are up to a challenging hike, the Ehukai Pillbox Hike is just 2.4 miles away. It’s a 30 minute climb up to two military bunkers that overlook the North Shore coastline. The views are breathtaking! The renowned Koko Crater Trail and Hanauma Bay are also just 40 minutes away. -Try the breakfast at Cinnamon’s in downtown Kailua. -Walk to Kalapawai Market to get freshly made sandwiches. -Craving Asian food? Try Champa Thai, Saigon Noodle, or Tokoname Sushi. -Thinking about Italian or Mexican? Maybe you can look into Assaggio, Buone Era or Cactus. -Why not try some fresh poke at Foodland or Wholefoods? - Buzz's Lanikai by the canal is a must for fresh seafood. Covid Cancellation Policy: If the state or county issues a 7+ day mandatory quarantine for all that affects the travel dates, you can choose between a 100% credit, a 90% refund or the VRBO refund policy. It is possible that the quarantine would only apply to a section of travelers that have not tested or tested positive for COVID-19. This is not the same as a mandatory quarantine for all. Cleaning and Disinfection: Your health and safety are our top priority. We are now following a thoroughly enhanced cleaning policy. Your accommodation has been thoroughly cleaned using SafeStay standards, an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant that has been found to kill 99.9% of detectable pathogens. Your front door is then sealed with a tag and no one is allowed to enter till you do so with your access code. We want you to assure you that cleaning and disinfection is being done to the highest of standards. This property is a legally established dwelling that is rented for a period of 30 consecutive days minimum. We stayed for 10 days and the house was great!! The pool was used almost everyday and walking to beach to see the sunrise almost every morning was a Treat!! Definitely would stay on the north side it’s way quieter than Honolulu area.

Perfect vacation home! 11 of us stayed, plenty of room and very private & just a 3 minute walk to the beach. (Amazing sunrise view) Owners provided a lot of stuff most rentals don’t. Loved the location, away from the busy tourist part of the island. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our large group of 14. It’s clean, spacious, and the layout is great for being all together without being cramped. Each bedroom had plenty of storage to unpack our things, the beds were comfortable and it was so nice to have a/c units in each bedroom to accommodate each person’s temperature preference. There were so many pool towels that we didn’t need to bring our own. The kitchen is truly fully stocked! Pantry items (spices and dry goods) were plentiful, too. Don’t go to the grocery store until you see what’s there first in terms of spices and dried goods. The pool and beach toys, rafts, mats and accessories were in abundance! We were so grateful for the selection of those items! All of the bathrooms were spacious and clean, as well. The house has a “beach feel” to it and with the beach only a 2-minute walk it was a nice atmosphere. I especially appreciated the outdoor shower to keep the sand out of the house and pool - very convenient to have. The property manager was absolutely delightful! She, as well as the property owner, were very accommodating and friendly. The property manager even came by (planned) to greet us and tell us about some great local spots for food, shopping and fun. She was responsive when we reached out for anything. There was even a beautiful welcome basket waiting for us with snacks and fruit when we arrived. Love is in the details and we felt very welcomed by that small gesture. We would definitely rent this house again!

Celebrating my mom's 75th this home allowed space for all 13 of us as well as great gathering areas in the lanai and kitchen and family room. Beautiful beach a short walk and pool area for relaxing and enjoying. Thank you for having us at your beautiful home for a special occasion!

The house was very nice and roomy. The kitchen and dining area was very good for the 13 people we had in our group. It was great to have 2 refrigerators for all the food we needed for all of us. Disappointed that there was not the computer available as shown in the review of the home. We had 3 cockroach visitors during our stay which was surprising and a little alarming since we don't have them here in our homes. I never saw one before and didn't know they were so big! Dan the pool man was very pleasant and helpful when we asked him about places of interest and places to visit. The landscape/lawn people were very pleasant and friendly as well. We were surprised the first times they both arrived because we weren't notified that these strangers would just be showing up. We would like to know if everything was left in order and whether anything will be taken from security deposit. If so what and when can we expect security deposit to be returned if everything was left in order. We all were very happy that the beach was so close to the house and enjoyed the toys and chairs that were there for that purpose. You have a great place there in Hawaii and it made our stay very enjoyable. We got to see a lot of beautiful scenery, spend time at the beach, and enjoyed time at the house in the pool and having meals outside. It was nice also that it wasn't too far from town where we could shop. Thank you

Great family house!
This house has enough space for everyone! Plenty of room to hang out together or on your own. Our kids loved having the pool to swim in. The short walk to the beach was nice. The beach area was not crowded either. Lots of beach toys and plenty of towels. Having a washer and dryer was great as well. We would stay here again!

Fantastic stay!!!
This property was everything we needed and more! It was clean, big, well stocked with kitchen items and fun beach items, it was exactly as specified in the description. The property manager assisted us quickly anytime we had questions. The pool was the perfect temperature and it was super clean and well kept, the instruction manual and info book was great to review, all of the rooms were nice and the bathrooms large and clean. 4 of the rooms share 2 bathrooms (2 rooms with Jack and Jill in between), and two bedrooms with own bathrooms, the living areas were great when the weather was not - or when we needed a break. The walk to the beach was easy and close, and the neighbors that we met were so kind! We would absolutely stay here again!

Unfortunately, the interior furnishings were somewhat "tired" and the exterior could use some care. We arrived after heavy rains and the house smelled musty for the duration of our stay.

Family every two year Hawaii Vacay 2021
We have been renting a house every two years for our family vacation. We’ve rented the Breakwater Estate twice in Maui. This is the third home we’ve rented in Oahu. It did not disappoint. It is a big house and everything we needed was provided. All our family members and friends were so impressed with the space and amenities. The exterior could use a little paint. It would be nice to have lights in the pool for night swimming. These would not take away from a five star rating. It is a very short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise. Kailua Beach is a few minutes drive. Spectacular! Debbie Piro was so helpful and accommodating. She was so responsive with all our questions. The owner as well is the easiest person to work with. For the most part the property is very nice and plenty of rooms for accommodation but it needs some TLC. Overall the property was clean with the exception of bathrooms needing a Deep Clean inside and outside of showers where soap residue on tiles could be seen as well as bathroom floor. We stopped anyone from using the Pool Bathroom Shower after our first day. Water would flow through the enclosure door and flood the floor soaking the bath mat. Looks like the doors needs replacement or readjustment.
Kitchen sink caulking is separated from sink and needs to be replaced.
Master bedroom door to deck needs repair and some WD40. A piece of flooring located to the right of the Master Bedroom Fan Control and directly under middle of window next to the control needs repair where a small portion has broken through..
Launi sliding doors could use WD40 on the rollers for ease of opening.
The property advertises use of a rooftop deck but yet there was no furniture. Decking needs work as well where boards are warped and cracking. Roof soffit needs repair as well where boards are separated from roof with some rot.
During our stay we killed 9 Cockroaches, called property manager for a exterminator and killed 2 more after before we left.
Cement walkway and walls around pool and patio could use pressure washing.
Photoelectric Switch for driveway gate needs to be replaced where we had two situations where gate closed while cars were waiting to leave driveway. One car had damage under rear drivers side door.
Other than what is mentioned the property was very accommodating for our family vacation.

The common rooms on the ground floor have fans, but no a/c. We ran into some maintenance issues, but the property manager responded promptly. Unfortunately, not all was fixed during our stay. The refrigerator takes a long time to make ice and does not hold temperature well, but the repair person said it was working fine. We ended up buying bags of ice.

property amazing. VRBO is a scam to work with
the property was everything and more. My family had the trip and memories of a lifetime. Having said that, I am having to pursue litigation to get my deposit back from VRBO. They said, "we sent it." I have searched my bank transactions and so has my bank. There has been no attempt to send me my 2k. Just know, you'll loose 2000 if you stay here.

We had 8 adults and 7 children on this trip. The house was large enough for us and very well appointed. There were a couple of things that needed attention and Debra, the property manager, responded promptly and made things right! We particularly liked that there were LOTS of beach towels as we spent so much time in the pool and at the beach!

Spacious and Comfortable
We are a party of 10 adults enjoying an overdue holiday.. Lots of space.. Beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped, pool amazing shopping and groceries near by but most importantly the 🌴�Stunning Beach was a minimal 5min walk. Above all and most importantly our property mgr Debra was awesome and accommodating to our every need. Mahalo and we will certainly come back next trip..it will not disappoint

Better than perfect!
What a wonderful home - even better in person than in the photos! It was absolutely perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The 13 of us needed space and this home gave us exactly what we needed. It is beautifully maintained and stocked with everything from beach towels and boogie boards to infant pack and plays and paperback books. They really thought of everything! The kitchen has all updated appliances (with 2 refrigerators) and is big enough to accommodate several cooks at once, although we did enjoy dining out at great Kailua restaurants like Uahi Grill and Maui Brewing Co. The Pool is huge and tropical with a large supply of pool toys and it’s just a 3 minute walk to a gorgeous beach with soft sand and blue, blue water. The home’s location makes it a convenient base from which to visit great tourist sites. It was an easy drive to Paradise Cove, Kualoa Ranch, Iolani Palace, Pearl Harbor and more. All in all, this house provided all of us - from the toddlers to the senior citizens - with a magical family vacation experience we could never have gotten at a hotel. We wholeheartedly recommend it! And finally, a big thanks to our host Sri and property manager Debra who were so helpful, welcoming, and immediately responsive to any question we had. Mahalo!

Kailua Paradise
From the first interaction with our host Sri & manager Debra, to the last we were met with friendly, prompt replys & helpful advice. The property was exactly as described & even better in person. You really have thought of everything in offering this house for holiday rental. So much room for a large family or group, so your'e never under each others feet. Every room tastefully decorated & all beds very comfortable. It's a real bonus having ceiling fans & aircon in every bedroom, something I see as a must when visiting Hawaii. We spent lazy evenings by the pool & wonderful times out & about exploring Oahu & all she offers. From a huge family day at Polynesian Cultural Centre, to a morning at Keanu Farm Climbworks zipline, hours snorkelling at Hanuma Bay to days swimming at Kailua & other beautiful beaches - Oahu did not disappoint. As it wasn't the first time we'd visited Kailua we were able to show other family members her many wonderful eateries & shops. Thank you so much for making our stay & holiday just perfect. Mahalo

We had a great time staying at the house. The kids loved the pool and having all that space made having four families together very convenient. The host was very accommodating and helped us with any issues. The house was stocked with beach stuff so we didn't need to get ourselves. Overall a great stay.

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious home.
Our family of 12 adults and 4 children stayed 9 nights. We were a little worried we’d all be on top of each other, but this was not the case. There is plenty of room for everyone. The pool is beautiful and warm even though we had cooler than the normal weather. Kailua beach, wow! Most beautiful beach I’ve seen, not crowded and just a few minute walk away.
Debra was so sweet and accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

Fabulous comfortable home for large groups!
Our group of 13 adults and 3 babies thoroughly enjoyed this home. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and everything needed to cook for a large group. The house was well stocked with plenty of beach and regular towels. There were even lots of pool toys for the kiddos and beach matts and chairs to take for the short walk to the beach. There are plenty of activities within short driving distances and walking to the town for breakfast or coffee is very doable. I highly recommend this home.
