Situated in Lake Wallenpaupack, this charming house for R 4,555 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Our house is located on a private 2 acre, wooded lot near Lake Wallenpaupack. It is the perfect year round escape in the Poconos! We are very flexible with check-in/check-out times so please ask if you need to arrive earlier/leave later :-) HIGHLIGHTS: 3 bedrooms (Sleeps 8-10 depending on adults/kids, a queen air mattress is available as well) 3 full bathrooms Fully equipped kitchen (Keurig, drip coffee, cutlery, pots/pans, knives, utensils, etc.) Wonderful Hot Tub! Soaking in the hot tub is great for every season :-) Ductless mini split A/C for every room in the house! Large fire pit area w/ bistro lights, 2 hammocks, hook and ring toss, picnic table and propane grill. Please no unattended fires!!! Wood burning stove to keep warm in the winter. Starter cardboard, newspaper, kindling, firewood, etc. provided for the above! Deck with grill + 2 picnic tables. A great spot to see wildlife, especially in the mornings. Lots of yard games (corn hole, kanjam, bocce, croquet, slip n slide, etc.) Ping Pong table, very comfortable power reclining couch and recliner in the basement. There are also coolers available + a couple metal s'more roasting forks. Excellent cell service, 300 Mbps wifi. **1st Floor** - Bedroom #1 with queen bed, 5 drawer chest, closet and a desk with a printer - Hot tub on deck off of Bedroom #1 - Full bathroom - Kitchen with coffee maker, water cooler, ice maker, toaster, microwave, stove/oven, crock pot, instapot, fondue set, etc. + all utensils, dishes, plates, knife set cookware, etc. - Eat-in kitchen/open dining room with 4 stools at the counter and dining table with 6 chairs - Living room with wood burning stove + two couches, smart TV, board games, puzzles, etc. - Deck with 2 picnic tables and propane grill **2nd Floor** - Bedroom #2 with a queen bed, twin bunk beds, 5 drawer chest, walk-in closet (w/ pack n play if needed for little ones) and TV - Bedroom #3 with a queen bed, closet (located in hallway) and TV - Full bathroom **Basement** - Laundry room with large washer/dryer + full bathroom - Ping pong table area with power reclining couch and recliner - Dart board - Kan Jam, Cornhole, Croquet, Slip n Slide, outdoor chairs - Hockey net with pucks and sticks - Walk-out basement with garage door in case you need to park inside **Fire Pit/Yard** - Large fire pit + fully stocked firewood - 2 hammocks, picnic table and propane grill - Hook and ring game - Toddler swing, flying saucer kid swing, monkey bars If you can't find something please give us a shout as we may be able to let you know where it is. If we don't have it, we will order it and get it to the house ASAP! There are some local recommendations below and more in the welcome guide. There is also a booklet at the house that has the same info as the welcome guide. AREA INFO: - Lighthouse Marina, 1st Klas Marina, Pine Crest Marina and The Boat Shop are all a short drive for boat, jet ski and other water activity rentals - Palmyra township public beach for lake access - The Wake Zone is a short drive up the road with golf simulators amongst other fun games w/ light snacks and beer provided by Wallenpaupack Brewing Company. The brewery itself is a bit further up the road towards Hawley and definitely worth checking out. - 507 Country Store is a nearby gas station with a great deli counter for every meal. - Promised Land State Park is a 10 minute drive away with many hiking trails, a waterfall, a kids playground, pavilions, and a large, shallow lake w/ canoe/kayak/SUP rental. - Hawley is about a 10 minute drive with small town shopping and restaurants and another large playground for kids. - Honesdale is about a 25 minute drive with a larger main street to walk with stores and restaurants - There are various bars and restaurants up and down 507 (the main road on our side of the lake) which are all worth checking out. - Paws'n'Claws is a small local zoo about 15-20 minutes away - Paupack Hills is an 18-hole golf course about 10 minutes away - Costas Family Fun Park is a small amusement park with bumper boats, go-karts, playground, water slides, etc. ADDITIONAL INFO: There is a ring security camera on the front side of the property pointing up the driveway towards the road.

Property is very easy to find, lots of parking, outdoor and indoor amenities galore, with wildlife for a bonus. We saw deer everyday and the neighbors have 2 ponies and goat (not accessible to kids if you’re wondering). We went with a group of friends + my 16-mth old and the house had all the things we needed, plus things for my son (wipeable changing pad, indoor and outdoor toys, gates, outlet covers, cabinet locks - although we took a couple of our own)! You can tell the owner cares about taking stress off the people he hosts. Some of the things we enjoyed with our son include taking him around the yard in the wagon, using both outdoor swings many times, little hockey stick, playing with indoor toys (books, cars, Bear, water spit book) - it was perfect. The bunk bed room had room darkening curtains so our son slept so well! The high chair and splash mat was very thoughtful bc we forgot ours. For the adults - There is ample wood as we had a fire going pretty much all weekend (even burned some of the freshly cut wood that needed chopped for the owner). The board game “Best Friends” was a hit with our friends! The sand art table was fascinating to watch, watched a movie on Netflix, spent time in the brand new (?) hot tub, ice machine for drinks, went for a local hike at Little Falls Trail, some went for pedicure, and just relaxed. This was the perfect getaway for us and we hope to stay here again. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you, Boyd!

We were looking for a quick get away for my husbands birthday and couldn’t of found a better place. Great location with lots to do on property for all ages. Extremely well kept and great owners. Would highly recommend and use again!

Had a great 4 nights at Boyd's property. Spent tons of time in the hot tub, playing ping pong, and tooling around the lake. Excellent communication from Boyd before and during the stay. Would visit again.

The property was clean, centrally located to restaurants and shops, and close to the lake. Boyd is an especially responsive host - kind and accommodating. We had a great time and would absolutely return again!

We had a great trip! Property is so great for kids, with swings and lots of toys, and a sprinkler outside which the kids loved.We saw lots of deer, chipmunks, and other wildlife. Loved the Jacuzzi too! Everything is set up, easy to use, and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need to cook. Only thing I wish is for a little space to store the supplies we brought of our own. Shelves were all quite full. The property itself is so nice and private, and there are lots of activities just a short drive away. Thanks for the memories!

House is located in a very quiet and beautiful area. It is very cozy and clean and features a nice outdoor hot tub and a deck on the other side with a table to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on the fresh air. House was very clean and had a lot of toys, high chair for our little children that came along as well as gates on the stairs to prevent any falls! We had a small group and have really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to rent again from that wonderful family their amazing and welcoming house. Thank you very much

Very nice house, comfortable beds, lots of space! The jacuzzi and table tennis were our favourites. We were lucky with the weather, there was a lot of snow and it was warm, so we spent the whole day walking and sledding right next to the house. Almost tame deer and wild turkeys were regular guests. Definitely recommend both the house and the hospitable host who was always in touch with us.

This house was the perfect getaway from the busy streets of Manhattan. It's located on a very quiet road near the lake and short drive from some really nice hikes and parks. Every now and then we saw deer grazing around the property. We got lucky one day and saw wild turkeys passing by. There is a really nice campfire/picnic area setup outside the house that we used every night when the weather was good. Communication with our host Boyd was very pleasant and he responded timely to all our questions. Checkin was a breeze using a lock code. The rooms were all spacious and furnished well. The beds were too comfortable that it was hard to get up in the morning. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the kitchenware we needed that we cooked everyday for our group. We really enjoyed this house and will definitely be coming back.

The home was very clean and well equipped. The towels, linens and kitchenware seemed fairly new. The bathrooms were spacious. We enjoyed seeing deer each day and one wild turkey! Having the bedrooms on 2 floors allowed more privacy. The smart TV and games were nice features. It was nice to have dishwasher and laundry. We were able to drive to the lake and several restaurants quickly. Ringside Fire Grill is a fun atmosphere! The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. We would love to stay again in the future.

The host provided a well-equipped home, presumably occupied by himself, his wife, and their two children when not rented. The house, especially the bedrooms, were clean, although some rooms were a little cluttered because of the large number of toys and children's activities equipment. There is a full suite of kitchen appliances (but lacking a cutting board). It is convenient to the highway and we would stay there again.

We accidently picked the most perfect place. The cabin was more than we could have hoped for and just what we were looking for. Had everything you could think of and more. Owners were very thoughtful and even put up the baby gate for my 1 year old as well as a baby tub in the upstairs bathroom. Had a pack and play, a play yard as well as a high chair, i didnt have to pack almost anything for my little one. Lots of toys and games. The fire pit area was my favorite. My family all agreed we would love to stay again in the future. Thanks so much for the family memories.

The house was very comfortable and the property was nice. It was very misleading that it was listed as 0.2 miles to the lake when there was no access except to drive to another location that was open 9a~5p. It was not listed as a private lake with very limited access to the lake.

This is a beautiful house perfect for families who want to spend time out of the city. This is a clean and organized house that has lots of activities to entertain your kids. I have seven kids who are from seventeen to two years old and they all had an amazing time. If you are one of those parents who don’t like your kids to eat out even when you are on vacation, this house has everything you need to prepare their meals. We highly recommend it and we’ll definitely come back.

We can't say enough about this house. It was like we were at home but away from the everyday rush and noise.Perfect to sit there enjoying nature hiking, boating,laughing and eat ice cream. My whole family found great entertaining things to do games,toys,books,we didn't want to leave the house. Thanks Boyd and family. Excellent hosting!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this home. Everything we needed to have a laid back and peaceful vacation were at hand. The setting of the home is off the lake which made it very quiet and serene. The home itself was extremely clean and modern. Also, the beds were very comfortable. Mr. Boyd was always accessible and answered questions right away. I look forward to our next stay. The only downfall was that we couldn't stay longer.

This house was perfect for us, and really felt like home. It was extremely private with no neighbors in sight (unless you count a few horses!). It was spacious and comfortable, and fully stocked with every kitchen item you could ask for. The property really is beautiful, and a great central location to exploring the lake area.
