Three days stay without cleaning. The marble walls in the bathroom havn't been cleaned for a while.

A simple hotel with a good location. Nice breakfast.

I had a very nice stay at this old hotel, which has kept many original features, and maintained the feel of a historic and vintage stay. The rooms have not been updated, and lacks the feel of a well appointed modern room, yet is very comfortable and convenient once you settle in. It does show some wear and tear, felt clean yet showed some stains, cracks, etc. The bed was excellent, and noise-level okay (surprisingly, as the area can be noisy, especially in the summer.) I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the cozy historic lobby, meeting with friends, and enjoying complimentary coffee, teas, fruit, and water. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant was well-appointed and nicely decorated. My room rate was real cheap, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Great staffs, location, bath amenities and breakfast! It was a dim room and hallway as well. It smelled kind of old and humid.

Hotel with interesting history and architecture, it is refurbished and up to modern standards. The location is great, next to the train station and close to the city centre. Staff was excellent, really kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was also good. Cleanliness for the bedroom was not the best, it was acceptable.

Great location - center of the city, obscenely close to the train station. Rooms are a little dated but the bed was really comfortable. The trains do come frequently and the downside of being close to the station is you hear them quite a bit. It didn’t bother me because I’m used to city noise, but I could see it potentially bothering a light sleeper. Service was fantastic too!

Great breakfast buffet! Restaurant and lobby nice and clean. Bed was comfy and clean but bathroom left a bit to be desired. Mold on ceramic wall tiles by ceiling. Tiles in general were stained with calcium deposits from hard water. Not very appealing. Needs a good scrubbing or replacement.

What a disappointment this hotel was for the price paid approx $200 a night. The room was extremely basic - toilet and bathroom old and mouldy. Bed sheets stained and unclean, carpet outdated, one small pillow given (and they have no extras), small duvet barely covering the body and the sound of trains all night (of course it’s by the station).

Nice breakfast

We changed the booking from 1 person to family room via hotels.com support. Paid the difference on arrival. Upon entering the room the tv had cables hanging out. Fan in front and wires out of the sockets. For kids there is a fold out bed but there was no bedlinnen or towels for them. Upon leaving the room the doorhandle came off. Gave it to staff to fix. At night you can hear and feel the trains as the hotel is on top of the tracks. Family room issues continue as the balcony had cigarette buds on the table and the rail is not safe for kids. Breakfast we had to walk around in circles to find a place to sit. Some decided to sit outside in the lobby. I brought chair from lobby and we sat with 4 at a table for 2. Hot servings did not last or were not refilled. Plenty of bread and yoghurt options. Hotel is historic but does not charm me. Seems short staffed and in need of maintenance. Rather they told me the family room was not available and book somewhere else.

A old hotel but was quaint.

Astoria was a good choice for our weeklong stay in Copenhagen. Only two suggestions of change: more light in the room (overhead particularly) and some hand bars in the bathtub to help getting in and out to the shower.

The hotel is extremely noisy (next to a train station), The rooms are not very clean (carpets are not cleaned). Overall, you are better find a quiet and cleaner place 5 minutes away. It is a pricey hotel so with the same price, you can do better.

Chose the location due to proximity to train station- but didn’t realize it’s literally just above the tracks. Can be very noisy. Front Desk has earplugs. It’s also an old historical building with small rooms and no A/C. Charming lobby bar and friendly staff but not sure I’d stay again.

Perfect hotel for someone who prioritizes a good bed, great breakfast and lovely service. Not recommended for light sleepers or people looking for comfortability of rooms.

Our room was on an incredibly noisy street. Party buses, drunks, heavy trucks, police sirens, consequently 3 sleepless nights. Also the room was very basic and unwelcoming, with childsize beds and pillows.

Such a beautiful building, built in the 30's, and lovely staff and breakfast!

The hotel was convenient as close to train station and attractions. The staff were very accommodating, the bed was against a wall but easily moved.

I stayed here for 13 days as a solo traveler and loved every minute. The room was spacious and clean. There's a delicious breakfast included and was very fresh and had many choices. WIFI was strong. The trains sound like a low rumble and did not disturb my sleep at all. The lobby served wine, beer and soft drinks for a cost. There is also a coffee, tea and ice water station with a bowl of fruit 24/7. The hotel is a minute walk to central station and a 5 minute walk to Tivoli. I was greeted with a hello each and every time I passed by the front desk and the staff are there to help with any questions you may have. There's a warmth to the lobby and cozy chairs and couches to meet other travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a fantastic position. Staff at the reception is really friendly and they try to accommodate all your requests. What I didn't like at all was the fact the room was not cleaned every day! If you want an everyday cleaning service you've got to ask for it. And I found this quite disappointing for a hotel which charged me 246 euros on the first night of my stay. I think this has nothing to do with eco-friendly choices. You can clean rooms every day and still respects the environment. And I felt a bit uneasy having to ask for toilet paper and clean towels at the reception!

This hotel is located right next to the train station so is a very convenient location. The hotel is old with dated decor and very small rooms. The front door was locked all the time during our stay (or at least every time we entered the hotel. We found this to be strange. There is no AC and the street noise made it not ideal to have the windows open. Fortunately there was a fan in the closet, which was helpful. For a quick stay with easy access to the train station, this hotel is fine. The staff was great and breakfast was nice.

Two minute walk from Central Rail Station; five minute walk from Tivoli gardens. Area felt safe. Rooms nicely renovated. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast!
