Great lady who checked me in very great I haven’t seen a person that professional in a long time I couldn’t ask questions she literally answered them all

I had to ask for a different room right after check in. Our first room was located down a hallway that looked completely different than the rest of the hotel. The hallway carpets were ripped up and the wallpaper looked like it had all been ripped off. It was kinda creepy if I'm being honest. I get that hotels go through renovations sometimes but had I known ahead of time, I would've considered a different hotel. We get into the first room, and it smelled like someone dumped an ashtray all over and the couch looked like someone tried peeling off the pleather. Needless to say I walked right back down to request a different room. The second room they gave us was definitely better. The couch was still not in great shape but overall at least the room looked cleaner and didn't smell. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the bacon in the morning was good. Not sure if I'd ever go back to this particular hotel, but in retrospect, I'm glad it wasn't worse.

Stayed here for daughter’s volleyball tournament. We found our room to be sub par for what you’d expect from a HILTON family hotel. Our couch was a pull out but we never used it because it looked as if it was pick out of the trash outside and completely worn out and falling apart. Barely had any towels on hand as well. The hallways smelled like pee and potpourri at the same time. Just horrible all around. Sheet talking to other family from our team that stayed there we all shared the same experience

Furniture was worn down and there was a bad smell in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too soft for my taste. I asked for another room but was turned down. I also asked for a late checkout and again turned down due to limited late checkout times. They do have shuttles to the airport at no additional charge.

Very run down

We were very disappointed with the condition of our room. The bed was fine, but there was no way we were going to use the couch. The material on the couch was pealing off all over. When this was mentioned to the front desk, they offered to change our room but couldn’t guarantee the furnishings were any better. They offered a blanket to cover the couch. Apparently they are remodeling the rooms. This left us with one chair to use while in the room. Definitely not what we expected at a Hilton line hotel. We ended up not changing rooms, that’s just a hassle and it was late. We won’t be staying here again.

No pool. No jacuzzi. Old furniture

The check in person was delightful but there was a $30 additional charge so the price listed isn’t the price which is pretty scammy. The bed was ok and the couch in my room literally looked like it came from a frat house basement.

Repairs and replacements are in need in this room. Pictures of the couch and ottomans, unraveling rug section, mini frige is not level so the door catches on the cabinet frame. From the scraping marks it has been that way for some time. Disappointing. Everything else was fine.

Furniture in the room was worn out. A few stains on the pillow cases. Would stay here again for the value and the staff was great!

My stay was great! The breakfast was okay…the serving room was disorganized and lacking good access to plates and bowls.. no coffee access. Had to wait for the server.
The person in front of me checking in was not treated with an accommodating attitude . There was no shuttle for her available the next morning back to the airport. Even though the website states that there was. She had to pay to get back to the airport.

The elevator was broken my 4 day stay, they didn’t clean my room, the cushions on the love seat were holely

The furniture in the room was ripped and worn. The elevator did not work for 3 out of the 4 days I was there. The restaurant had nothing on the menu. I wanted pizza which was on the menu but they had no pizza dough. They basically told me what they had and I had to take it or not. I picked this hotel because it offered a restaurant.

The sofa and the ottomans were peeling. Looked really old. Left a bad taste as I walked into the room. Since my family were very tired and were leaving in a few hours I didn’t bother to call the manager.
The beds seemed like they were slept in. Not how the staff should tidy the beds.
Definitely not Doubletree quality and certainly NOT Hilton quality.

While our service at check in and out was good the run down conditions and uncleanliness of our room was just outright grouse. From the torn up couch in the room to the disgusting stained towels. The dust cob webs, stain on walls etc.

I was very surprised that at a Hilton breakfast was not included? I asked where it was served at check in, but was not advised of a EXTRA charge?

Lovely and quiet, the staff was very pleasant. The only thing keeping the review down a bit is that they are in the midst of a remodel and there is construction going on outside. I'd still recommend them even as they are doing work and expect once it is finished it will be a truly wonderful place to stay.

Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at all year.

Stayed in a double queen room with a small fold out couch. The cushion was very worn as were the two footrests that came with it. The bathroom only had a single switch so you cant control the fan separately. One of the pillows had some stains. The pillows were a bit bigger than the square pillows at the end of your couch and very little support. You have to stack 3 pillows to get support. Breakfast was an additional 12 bucks and you do get someone that will refill your coffee. Its the standard continental breakfast that used to come free pre-covid. Bathroom only came with 2 towels and no extra towel to put on the floor on the outside of the shower so you dont slip. The bed itself was comfy. During check-in, there was a plate of cookies avaliable. Its a good location with grocery stores and places to eat and its far enough from the portland area to avoid most of the traffic jams.

Disability in my knees makes it hard to use stairs, but elevator was broken and when attention to it was brought to the staff they responded that I should deal with it "like it was 1853, before the elevator was invented". Very dismissive, disrespectful, and unhelpful.

The rooms were dirty, bed linens were not changed and soiled, intolerable odour to the room- extremely unclean. Even the person at the front desk advised us that the cleaning staff will cut corners as they are short staffed, given a limited time to clean rooms and large number of rooms to clean. They will cut corners and sometimes no change the sheets.

The hotel was fine for my one night stay. Comfy bed, clean room, and friendly desk staff. Only complaint is the sofa and leather ottomans in the room. They were in terrible shape. Leather on the arms of sofa were ripped and the ottoman look like they had been shredded by a cat or dog. As a Hilton hotel, I would have expected these items to be replaced.

The very best thing about our stay was the people who work at the Double Tree. Rene at the front desk was above and beyond! She was so friendly, professional, and accommodating. Also, the shuttle driver was personable and helped me with directions and the woman at the breakfast buffet was also very helpful, as well as, friendly.
The hotel itself was in dire need of an update asap.
Keep the wonderful staff, give Rene a raise, and definitely spruce up the property.

They needed a lifeguard in the swimming pool to control the children and there was way too many kids in the pool my grandson was only able to swim. All the kids running up and down the hall all night was not acceptable we paid good money to stay there and the amount of chaos was ridiculous will not stay there again on next trip to see family.

The property was uninhabitable for anyone to stay. Shame on Expedia and the Hilton for scheduling people to stay in these rooms. The furniture was completely destroyed in the room, the carpeting was worn and the room smelled. I was told that this was on the website, but I did not see it when i checked. It was also a letter in 8 pt font explaining the room conditions. If these are the rooms that the Hilton or Expedia think I should stay as a guest, I will no longer do any business with your companies.

Other than the mildew in the shower curtain smelling up the bathroom, the room and property was good.

The young man that checked us in was friendly and knowledgeable. Very personable chap. Sofa in the room was very worn and torn. Should be recovered or replaced.

Property wasn't ready to check in guests at the posted check-in time, and some furniture in my room was in very poor condition.

Room was absolutely filthy and disgusting. We had to cover the couches with sheets that we had to go buy to be able to sit on them. Room stunk like cigarettes, and there were dirty clothes under the king size bed in the bedroom.

the people were nice when having to deal with a lot of unsatisfied people. the furniture was falling apart. when complaining. we were told all the room were like that.
no phone in the room. walls were dirty. no dresser in connecting room to put close in had to put suitcase on floor and live out of them. the worst thing was the furniture. will think twice about staying in their hotels again. would have left but no hotel opening around there.
