Lovely, friendly place to stay. Perfect location, quiet but very central. Comfortable room with pleasant outside area. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful, friendly staff, who can arrange tours and transfers.

Property was comfortable and great for a 2-night stay. The owner helped me get train tickets which was very helpful. Other staff don’t speak English very well. They could provide some more room amenities, such as small soap to wash hands. It can get a bit noisy outside since part of the ritual with the monks everyday was just outside our window. Overall we had a great stay!

Breakfast is great,eggs, fresh fruit, bread, juice,,coffee,tea, and thats only western breakfast. they have asian breakfast as well.

Luang Prabang is a very touristy place not representative of Laos as a whole. if your want to know about Laos ask the guys about life in their villages. you live better in this guest house than any people from village. so if one of the guys is not fluent in english or something is not as nice as 5* hotel do not complain, just go talk to one of the guys at front desk and they will be happy to help in any way possible with a smile.

Good location. There are many restaurants and shops. It's located near the attraction places and the main street. It was a little difficult to find a hotel. Breakfast was very nice. We really enjoyed a breakfast. They provided us for a rental motorbike and it's not so expensive. We used it for going to the water fall.

Its location is great, close to the river and main street but still quiet. Has many cafes nearby. Tingkham guesthouse is just 5 steps away and serves cheap tasty meals and coffee with a convenience store for drinks/snacks etc.

Excellent location. Heart of all the main attractions which were walking distance. If you turn left it’s where night market is, turn to the back lane is the Mekong river, turn to the right is wat xien thong. Great service from the staff and good breakfast too

This hotel is in the best possible location of Luang Prabang, with all major sites restaurants and attractions a short walk away. The staff are warm and courteous. The one negative thing that ruined our stay were the amount of cockroaches we saw in our room over the course of 4 days. For a guest house of this caliber it was a really negative experience. Otherwise the room was clean and tidy.

The monks pass by the hotel between 0530-0600 each morning. You can buy offerings from the women who will be there. Ie: sticky rice was 10000 kip per basket.

The Hotel is very well located, rooms were comfortable and very clean, breakfast is good and staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. Specially Mr. Dith who gave us a lot of nice suggestions and good information! Everyone was really nice there!

Okay. Pros - clean tidy, good breakfast, nice patio area, hot water. Good location and good value. Cons - we had a very dark room which coincided with a cold period so room was very cold. The windows have no view looking onto another house at back. Room has no view to front area and therefore does not get any sun. The staff did not have or were unprepared to move us to another room. Okay for short stay.

Excellent guesthouse for the price exactly in the heart of old town. One block from the river and the ideal Saffron coffee shop, and just a couple blocks to the arts shopping and many restaurants. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Given the price point, the room is large, nicely furnished, well-equipped, and has notably good lighting options for relaxing.

Clean and staff friendly with satisfactory English. Within walking distance to Main Street, markets and riverbank. Monks have their procession directly out front in the mornings. Little shops and restaurants just around the corner.

Our problem was with Hotel.com we were informed that we had breakfast included, when we arrived it was not. The receptionist was obdurate that it was not included and was very unhelpful. We did not get breakfast and Luang Prebang is not cheap, 12Es for breakfast elsewhere. We moved out found a guesthouse for half the price and after two days of toing and froing emails have received no satisfaction from Hotels.com. Be warned if you are booking online it is very expensive for what you get,there are much cheaper equally good options available if you just turn up and truck around. Guest houses are great value, plentiful and not on the web.

We stayed in 2 rooms on the ground floor and 2 rooms on the first floor.
All rooms were basic but very clean. Bathrooms were clean and spacious as well.
It is conveniently located close to the main street, night and morning markets, museums, temples, and the Mekong river. For those light sleepers, you may find the roosters crowing early in the morning irritating. Otherwise, it is pretty quiet at night. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
