Recently, my extended family and I reunited in Manzanita, and luckily chose to stay at Madrona Ridge. We are thrilled we did! It was such a wonderful home, clean, and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. There were lots-of extra towels, blankets, sheets, pillows, and throw blankets for inside or out. There were many sleeping options, even some roll-a-way beds. There was plenty of hot water for everyone's showers and baths. The home's location is in a very quiet neighborhood, and above street level, so it was very private. It was above the tsunami hazard zone, and just knowing that was rather comforting. The hot tub was privately located and a joy to relax in, especially with the water jets and lighting. The kitchen was very attractive, had new appliances, and was well-equipped and organized. There were plenty of pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. It wasn't exactly perfect beach weather while we were there, but during sunbreaks the living room was flooded with light, and we were able to enjoy the warmth of the sun deck, even though it was December. Otherwise, we gathered around the cozy gas fireplace. We had a fantastic family reunion, and all agreed: we'll return next year, but hopefully sooner!

This is a great place to stay! A short walk to the beach and conveniently located near restaurants and amenities in Manzanita (and above the tsunami zone!). Great sun exposure! The furniture, appliances and bedding are new and excellent quality but cottage style and appropriate for this setting. Decorations are tastefully done with a beach theme. Nice mattresses and pillows. Plenty of extra blankets, towels, etc. Cozy living room with a propane fireplace. Several pleasant independent areas outside including the fire pit, barbecue/dining area, a sun deck, and wonderful hot tub deck with Adirondack chairs. I was impressed by the thoughtful safety features, including handholds, railings, retractable baby/dog gates, easily accessible fire extinguishers, etc. The owner has gone to great lengths to make this beach home convenient, safe and pleasant for guests. We will be back! (My sons say they would give it a 10 star review if they could).

Just perfect for us and our 2 dogs. Really like that this is a pet friendly home. Good location about ⅓ mile from the beach, although we never walked it. Hot tub is a very nice feature but we never got a chance to use it with so much going on. One of the dog gates was not working but we contacted management so it maybe fixed by now. These gates help keep your dogs on the massive deck area as long as they aren't jumpers. There was a problem with really small ants, but only if you leave food out, otherwise you won't see them.

Gorgeous house, with a massive wrap around deck. The hot tub is built in to the deck, and was wonderful for a soak. The house is like any other beach house, expect some creaks and croaks. If you're a light sleeper, I suggest one of the two upper bedrooms. Great water pressure in the showers. The living room is on the smaller side, which might be a consideration. However the kitchen table is massive, and great for group chats and board games. Only an 8 minute walk to the strip, for coffee, pizza, or groceries. 10 minute walk to the beach.

Myself, four family members and our pup had a wonderful stay at the given property. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and the outside amenities cannot be beat. The home offers a 5 minute walk to the beach and town as well as easy access some of Oregon’s most beautiful trials and beaches. Hope to be back again!
