Nestled in Wilmington, this charming house for R 4,408 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Our newly renovated brick ranch offers three nice sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms will give you room to spread out and relax while enjoying all Wilmington has to offer. We have beaches, downtown with lots to see and great dining choices and our home will give you a nice place to unwind and relax. Enjoy the entire home located in the center of Wilmington in a quite neighborhood on a half acre lot. Restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are all within 2 miles. If your plans are a trip to the beach, Wrightsville Beach is only 6 miles away, Carolina Beach is 12.6 miles away or a stroll downtown is 4.5 miles away. A short 2 miles if you plan to visit UNCW. Color My Cottage is decorated in shades of blue and offers plenty of room for your entire group to have ample seating. The living area has a 65 inch Smart TV, a game table with seating for two and The Book Nook for those who enjoy a good book. You can read or chat in the sunken sunroom that has plenty of windows overlooking the private backyard. The large kitchen includes a locally made farm table with seating for six, a peninsula with three barstool seating and a “Coffee till Cocktail” bar to start your morning off right. A coffee maker with plenty of coffee cups, coffee filters, Splenda, and sugar are all included. To start your evening we have included a margarita machine for your use. Margarita bar ware and salt are stocked for you to enjoy. The kitchen is large enough for several cooks and is fully equipped. We have included indoor and outdoor dinnerware. The outdoor dinnerware is nonbreakable. Outdoor dining includes a picnic table, charcoal grill, or enjoy sitting around the fire pit and indulging in s’mores. A Hershey S’more kit includes everything you need. We also include the wood for the fire pit. Outside there is cushioned patio furniture on the patio, and a cornhole game for all to take part in. The backyard is the most unique part of the property with the large live oak tree that offers a canopy of shade. It’s absolutely beautiful. When it’s time to retire for the night we have a master bedroom with a king sized bed, full bath, and a Smart TV. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, and a Cordaroy chair that can be made into a full sized bed if you need the extra bed. Extra linens, bedding and pillows are provided. The third bedroom has a queen sized bed, small dresser, desk and chair if you need a workspace. At the desk have a phone charging station with ports for any cell phone. If you forget your charger we’ve got you covered. All bedrooms have hand painted dressers and nightstands. We have included a basket of sample toiletries just in case you forget something. Our fenced in private backyard backs up to a walking trail for walking or biking. If you are coming to enjoy kayaking or canoeing and need a place to store your kayaks, we have racks at the back of the yard for storage when not on the water. Our home is pet friendly for one to two dogs under 20 pounds. A $50.00 pet fee will apply for both dogs for the entire stay. Dog bowls, and waste bags will be provided. It is your responsibility to pick up after your pet. A discount is given for a 7 night stay and a month stay. Enjoy everything Wilmington has to offer in our quite home close to it all.

Color My Cottage was exactly what we hope for from start to finish. Angie was a more than gracious host with quick responses and she went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional! The house itself was beautifully decorated with a fantastic layout and each and every bed was super comfortable which is always a great plus. Immaculately clean and fully stocked from coffee bar, kitchen, towels and even a Christmas tree and fresh baked cookies! As if the home wasn’t enough, the backyard and landscape was absolutely gorgeous! Wow, what a place! We will definitely be back and cannot recommend Color My Cottage enough to do it justice. We came to Wilmington to visit our son for family weekend and this was the perfect location. There was plenty of room and the location was great. I have stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this was by far one of the best! The communication with the owner was wonderful, and there were so many extras provided, from the smores kit, to the "if you forgot" basket. The backyard was so lovely, even with the tropical storm we went through (great sunroom to watch the rain and wind). We will definitely be back and we hope to stay here many more times to come!

I loved this rental! It is charming on the inside, with lots of little extras to make you feel cared for (coffee and margarita bar, smores kit, a "I forgot my...." box), and then the back yard was just perfect for the kids to throw a football, play cornhole, ring toss, and whatever else they could come up with. The neighborhood is peaceful and close to everything. I'd definitely stay again!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS HOME!! I would stay here over and over again. It was beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, quiet and completely convenient to shopping and food, the beach, etc. I’m excited to stay again in the future. We visit Wilmington often and normally drive back home, this was a piece getaway close to home and I definitely recommend it!!

This house has everything you would ever need, I felt like I was at home! Beds are comfy, nice bathrooms the whole house is just as neat as it can be. Nice and quiet neighborhood, close to the college, beach, shopping and restaurants. I wish we could have stayed longer, I would defiantly rent again.

Everything you read about this host and home are accurate. It's the perfect home for your getaway. Clean, well- decorated, beautiful backyard, everything you need and more. It's so calming, I slept better than I have in a long time...even asked for the mattress brand I loved it so much! Even though the weather was hot and muggy in August, the huge shade tree in the backyard was a very pleasant way to spend some time in the evening. Wish we could've stayed longer!

We had an extended family reunion in Wilmington and we needed a place to stay over the July 4th holiday. This house was exactly as described and nicely appointed. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was great. We especially loved the backyard and sun room off the dining space. It was so conveniently located it never took us more than 15 minutes to get anywhere. We loved our stay and would stay here again!

This beautiful, well maintained home is in a lovely residential community, close to historical downtown Wilmington and the beaches. The backyard is completely fenced in, nicely landscaped, and perfect for you and your pet to enjoy. We loved spending time in the backyard grilling dinner and using the host provided s’mores kit. The kitchen is well stocked and grocery stores are nearby. The home was renovated/updated in the last year so everything is relatively new. Host was very responsive and open to feedback and questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Great stay at Edgewood Rd property. Angie, the host, is great to work with and very communicative. Everything was as described in the listing. Neighborhood was great for walking dog and EVERYTHING in Wilmington is 13 minutes or less away from the house in any direction. Perfectly located.

We are a family of two grown daughters, one boyfriend and two Havanese puppies..this home was perfect for us all! As seniors we loved the one level living! Having several places to hang out was ideal.. and Angie thought of everything to make our stay easy! Location was excellent and allowed us to truly explore Wilmington. Highly recommend this home!

We were in town for my daughter’s commencement at UNCW. Beautifully decorated. Even with festive holiday decorations, which made us want to stay through Christmas. Everything was high quality from the mattresses, to the bedding, linens and towels. My Mom is visually impaired and had no issues maneuvering throughout the house. We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties in NC, SC and TN. This by far is now one of our favorites. Thank you for allowing us to stay and relax at your beautiful home.

Hello and thanks so much for opening your home to guests. Perfect yard for the doggies. I have been in the VRBO biz for many years, starting Avon, NC in the mid-80's. I recognize how much work has gone into the property. Painting panel and blending disparate spaces is something that I believe you have excelled on as well attention to detail. I have a lots of ideas about things that you may want to consider should the cash flow permit. I didn't use the fire pit and wanted to. It was an exhausting trip and happy to have had a spotless place to crash.

This is my first Vrbo & we were not disappointed at all! We were so impressed with this home...from the minute we walked thru the front door! The decor is gorgeous & immediately felt right at home. The extra amenities Angie provides are so amazing! Spices, coffee & creamers, charging station, the margarita machine is incredible, a basket in the bathroom in case you forgot anything (toothpaste, mouthwash, bandaids, etc.). Angie was always available to take my calls/texts and was a pleasure to work with. We actually didn't want to leave, so asked Angie if we could stay another day (that's how much we loved it!). Can't wait to go back!

What a very clean, warm welcoming home. The house is very, very well stock. The kitchen had everything we needed plus so many extras. The back yard is great with everything you would need to grill or sit around a fire pit and fix s’more‘s. This house is roomy with space to relax and unwind. It has everything you will need for a great vacation. Don’t hesitate on renting this house.
