Cozy little cottage that was just a minute walk from the beach, and a 10 minute walk from the lighthouse.
The owner left a bowl of fresh produce for us from the local farmers market which we used in our dinner each night.
The cupboards and fridge were stocked with the necesssities which we were happy to have when cooking dinner.
The beds were cozy and there was a washer and dryer in the garage so we could wash our clothes after exploring the redwoods and beach.
Some of the dishes in the cupboard were a little greasy feeling, so we ended up rewashing everything before using it. The sink isn't very large so it would've been nice to have a dishwaser to load the dirty dishes into.
This is an older house, so please understand that when booking. There are going to be little things you have to deal with, like the fact the front door sticks, and a floor that goes downhill in the kitchen.
It's nothing that we couldn't handle for a few days, though.
We really enjoyed the location and it's closeness to the beach and the redwoods.

This house is beautiful and very comfortable. This is an older home that has been very well maintained and has all of the original charm. The location is great too! I am looking forward to staying here again!

My family and I loved staying at this cottage. It was well stocked and clean. It's central to a lot of locations in Crescent City and there's a nice beach a block away. There was a fire that knocked out the power while we were staying there. The owners offered me a refund for the days without power without promoting. I highly recommend this cottage and these owners. If I were to ever go back to Crescent City I'd want to stay here again.

This is a comfy house in a great location. We were outside most of the day hiking and walking the beach and we liked that the whole family could hang out in the living room in the evening. Ed was great to work with and even made sure to get an item to us that we left behind. Would definitely stay again!

We spent a lovely couple of days here. Cottage is small but cute with lots of thoughtful amenities. Great location — quiet neighborhood super close to the lighthouse, some cool rocky beaches, etc.

We had a lovely stay for only one night but would love to have stayed longer. House was clean and ready and had everything you could possibly want right there. It was nice to spread out and relax while getting the laundry done. My kids thought the sauna and having a fire pit out back was great.

Seabird Cottage was a good place for a quick overnight stay. We were headed to San Francisco after a cruise to Alaska and it was about 1/2 way between Seattle and SF. Clean place to lay our heads for a good nights sleep before hitting the road again.
We had dinner at SeaQuake Brewery and they were an hour long waitlist on a Monday night. They were supposed to close at 9:00 but we didn’t get in until right at 9:00. They were gracious and didn’t rush us for dinner. We had Mac & Cheese with pulled pork. It was a huge portion so if you don’t eat a lot or if you aren’t hungry, you might want to ask for a half portion or split with a friend!

I was pleasantly surprised by everything to do in this area. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 5, due to everything there was to do to keep the grandkids entertained, while also being interesting for us adults. I have already recommended this rental to two friends and am considering returning myself next year.

Happy with our overnight at Seabird Cottage! It's a very modest but clean and cute cottage only a block from the ocean. I think what we liked most was the obvious care the owners take to ensure that you have everything you need, and more. Duck eggs in the fridge from their own farm? Check! Produce from the local farmers market? Check! Coffee, tea, condiments, etc. And the bedding was SO soft and comfy.
If we're ever in Crescent City again, we'll be happy to stay at Seabird Cottage.

The property was clean, and well located within 2 blocks of the ocean. Adequate for home base to explore the area. We enjoyed our time, and the host is very responsive. kitchen lacks dishwasher, and cookware was limited, but enough. Large back yard and grill. I would not hesitate to return.

1/2 block away from the beach, 10 minute drive from the Redwoods. Quiet neighborhood, large backyard. Individual heating for each room is nice. Big, fluffy bathroom towels! Beach chairs available a bonus. Suggest buying a colander for the kitchen though. 5☆

Great house to stay in with so much to do near by. We had everything we needed! The only thing the kitchen didn't have was a strainer, but we were able to make it work. We had some fun, relaxing times playing board games and watching movies on netflix. The beds were comfy and had nice linens. 100% would recommend.

Very cute 1950's vibe home. Huge, clean backyard, which was a hit for my kids and puppy to run around in. Everyone slept well, beds were clean and comfortable, heaters and lights were great in each room. The hosts were kind and gracious, and communicated with well us. Great neighborhood, right next to beach access. We will definitely be back the next time we need to visit Crescent City.

Great little beach house just blocks from the Ocean! Safe, cute neighborhood, fenced yard, clean with all of the amenities necessary to enjoy a vacation. Great communication, and reasonably comfortable beds. This location was great for us as we wanted to stay by the ocean but also be close to do some exploring in the Redwoods. The town is not much but very close to anything you may need, grocery store, drug store, coffee, etc. The only slight improvement could be to upgrade the living room furniture and utilize the fireplace as a focal point. Great little home with character by the Sea. Definitely recommend.

Cozy older house. Clean and great location. Less than 2 blocks to overlook of ocean and stairwell to beach- or few more blocks to larger lookout.. Quiet street. Near Seaquake Brewery - very good pizza/beer.
Great stop on way down and up coast!

The space was clean and cute with plenty of room. Loved how they had so many amenities. We made several meals and had everything we needed. The backyard was very spacious for our pup to run around after the long drives. It was very cold but the heaters and the space heaters worked well. Very quiet neighborhood and very easy to communicate with the hosts! Not far from restaurants, coffee shops and the ocean!

I wish we could have stayed longer, but this made a great stopping off point during travels to the Redwoods and Crater Lake. It was wonderful to have a cozy home with so many thoughtful touches from a well-stocked coffee/tea cupboard to Halloween decorations and books! We had a good laugh over the shower head being mounted so low as we are all tall people, but luckily it was a hand-held shower head, so it was no problem! We loved walking out the front door and seeing the ocean!

First impression was spotlessly clean and tidy. Had absolutely everything you would ever need. Huge backyard with barbecue. It was October so heaters in every room or appreciated. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure amazing. But the two block walk to the bay and view of the lighthouse, the bench overlooking the ocean with amazing rock formations and sunset 1/2 block off the Main Street? Priceless. Also makes a good homebase for visiting Jedediah Smith State Park and the Stout Redwood Grove, going down the California coast to redwoods and up through Brookings and the Samuel Boardman state park filled with amazing rock formations. I am looking for an excuse to stay a week. Plenty of space for kids if you have any and huge backyard and close to all shopping in restaurants downtown.
