We have been coming to Florida in the winter for a few years and this bungalow was the most comfortable and cleanest of them all. The beds and the recliners were like new. The kitchen was small (no dishwasher or garbage disposal) however very well equipped. I like to cook while we are there. Maria, the host, lives just around the corner and was quick to take care of any questions that we had. The location was great! The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It was centrally located, just 2 blocks to the beach, the restaurants, the library, the senior center(I play Mahjong), the playground (our grandchildren live in St Petersburg), the Casino(where there are free tai chi classes plus dance classes). Every Tuesday there is a craft and farmers market on Main St, just 3 blocks away. You can't go wrong with this rental.

We had a wonderful time staying at this little house. It was just perfect for my brother and I who came to visit our sister. The couple who own the home were just wonderful. I would recommend this home.

This property is sooo nice! Due to winter travel difficulties, we ended up having an extra dog, 2 more adults, and 2 teenagers. The owners were VERY accommodating and even brought over a blow up mattress for the teens. So appreciated! The house is very comfortable, especially the furniture and beds. Communication with the hosts was easy. The house is located in a nice, safe residential area. I felt comfortable walking the dog at night. The house is a short walk to the beach, Veterans Park, and the restaurants and shops. We hope to return! Thank you!

Enjoyed renting this comfortable home on a quiet, convenient street in Gulfport. Home is close to all Gulfport has to offer. Happy to be renting again. Enjoyed meeting the property owners very much.

The owners are very nice and seem to want to provide a great experience for their guests. However when things go wrong (broken fridge, cable unplugged but we were told it was an outage in the neighborhood) and finally sewer from tree branches clogging the drains coming out of the toilet and tub., They respond with I don't know what to do and then complained to us about the cost of the repairs they had to make. I feel bad writing this, they are very nice people, but our experience was horrible. They had another house they could move us to but did not offer until after the sewage issue was fixed and I was crying because it ruined our Christmas Eve. We did receive a partial refund for the refrigerator and TV but no offer of anything for the sewage issue. The tub and the toilet did not flush and drain correctly from the very start and you would expect that have been found during routine cleaning before our arrival, not when your guests are unable to bathe or use the bathroom.

We stayed at this property for six weeks and got so spoiled by the location! It is close to absolutely everything in Gulfport, including the water. The neighborhood is very quiet with very little traffic and great for dog walking. The house provides for very comfortable living with everything you need. It’s especially nice to have two good sized bedrooms. The owners met us at check in and told us all important details about the property. We found them to be super kind and hospitable. This rental is highly recommended!

This is a beautiful property is in a very safe neighborhood...safe enough that as a woman I felt very comfortable taking my little pup for a walk in the middle of the night when she asked to go out. The house is comfortable, clean and well furnished. This I property is managed by a wonderful family who make you feel very welcome throughout the entire stay. The adult daughter is the property manager and the parents handle property check in and check out. The communication with the property manager was always professional. Her replies were promt and concise. I highly recommend this vacation rental!!! 5 out of 5 star review

This was my worst experience renting a temporary stay ever. I believe it is due to the elderly couple trying to self manage and clean this property. I initially wasn't going to write a review because I was told the cleaning issues will be fixed by new hire but the day I checked out the couple met me to pickup the key and I was told they are about to clean the house for the next guests. The home owners seems nice and their daughter from our emails, text messages and on the phone left me with the impression she is a wonderful woman. She manages the technology aspect remotely. Unfortunately, the house was extremely nasty and the sheets had skin and hair flakes or dandruff on them, food stains were still on the bed when I tried to get in after cleaning the house for a couple hours. I came in town due to my daughter's hospitalization but because of spring break options were very limited, plus I was attempting to stay close to the hospital and my daughter' home to help care for her. I reserved the house and it was canceled due to a hot water issues I was told. This house is 6 blocks from our daughter and I even wrote to the owner explaining my situation and mentioned I wouldn't mind staying there until it was fixed because our daughter's house was really close for us to shower. I was told no and we booked 2 hotel rooms. A few days later 02 Apr I was informed the water issue was fixed. I booked for 14 days. I arrived met by the owners (a very sweet elderly couple) to give me the keys for the house. We did a quick walk through and I noticed minor cleaning issues but again I always do a bit of cleaning when I check into places especially with COVID to ensure my family is in a clean space. Approximately 10pm we pulled back the comforter the sheets from the last guests were still on the bed. I believe the couple has issues with sight and maybe even cognition but due to frugality are trying to clean alone. The fridge wasn't bad and the stove and oven appeared clean. The kitchen counter is falling off the wall and on the left it has sunken in. I stayed, because I had cleaned the house, and the options were llimited plus this property is very close to my daughter. I slept on the couch without a blanket or pillow the first night. I requested brand new bedding which were provided the next day. The house has very nice furnishings as fairness is important. The AC works very well too. I have pictures if VRBO wants to challenge my experience.

This home has a quiet location and is just a block from the water front areas, restaurants, shops, beach, pier and more. It was newly furnished and has the most comfortable couch/recliner sofa. . The owners were really personable and kind. We thank them for their hospitality and look forward to staying there again!

The home had been newly remodeled with new furnishings, including new beds, dressers, kitchen stove, and large flatscreen television, sofa, and loveseat. Nice patio in back yard with fully enclosed screenhouse. New washer and dryer in the garage. In the kitchen, would liked to have had a microwave and garbage disposal, but that did not detract from the overall experience.
