Nice service. The front desk was accommodating and friendly. The mattress was uncomfortable and there were some dirty stains on the shower curtain. We noticed the floors were sticky throughout the lobby. But overall, great stay. We love the location and accessibility.

They checked me in to a room that was already booked and I walked in on people - in bed. Had to wait over an hour for them to clean another room - this was at 9pm. Room was only moderately clean after all the wait

Upon arrival, I learned the place was slated for demolition within two months months. It was completely rundown, chunks of cement and garbage strew about in the parking garage. There were several cars stuffed full of the sad belongings of homeless people who were camped out in them. There was a caretaker who warned me that using outside doors or walking through the parking garage was far from the safest thing to be doing. the place was a complete and utter wreck. I was furious that they had a presence on Hotels.com, as the whole scenario there was preposterous. I did talk to the manager, a nice fellow, who understood why I demanded a refund. In 34 years of business traveling, I’d never seen a more pathetic situation. I looked online and I see they are still trying to rent rooms. Do not do that!
Hotels.com and other agencies should do their due diligence and remove the posting for this hotel. I was told by business business owners in the neighborhood that the place has become a real eyesore and magnet for itinerant types that are scaring the tourists and locals alike. Beware! do not be enticed by the offer of cheap rooms!

The first room I was given one of the beds was unmade. Literally looked as if someone didn’t finish or had just got out of the bed. Called front desk had to go down and get a new key, which the next room the light didn’t work over the sink and only one set of towels for a double occupancy so I had to go back down and get a towel and wash cloth. The hotel has a funny smell.

The front desk staff were amazong sp helpful and so friendly. We parked the car in the hotel parking and walked everywhere the whole weekend. Great area.

The area is nice and the woman at the front desk was sweet. But the one of the elevators was broken and the “sky” restaurant is closed.

I did not like how the elevator service was unavailable during my stay and l to use the service elevator.

A little bit rundown and the free breakfast wasn't very fulfilling. Paying to park was a bit expensive too.

This hotel is supposedly closing and with that there is deferred maintenance in the rooms, hot water takes too long to develop in the shower, one functioning elevator, furniture is stained and falling apart, pillows fall flat, breakfast offering is coffee-that's it and you must pay to park in the tower at $15.00 per day and you have no other options.
The staff however was nice and accommodating but they shouldn't have to apologize for the short comings of the hotel.

Easy walk to restaurants. The area was safe and easily walkable. Overall, would stay here again.

The bathroom was to small and couldn’t move around, and hair was found on the bathroom floor and tub. Only one elevator was working

The hotel itself was awful. They are about to tear down the hotel (we didn’t know at the time of booking). Freezing cold, no extra bedding, poor quality in furniture and everything that you enjoy about staying at a hotel. Broken lift. No restaurant. The only decent thing about our stay was nice reception staff. We couldn’t wait to leave. VERY disappointed with Holiday Inn.

The bathroom too small.

This place is definitely more run down than the last time we stayed the front desk staff was very short with us.

This property is in poor repair. We constantly had to ask for towels. There was no toilet paper in my room on arrival. Our tub didn’t drain and the bathroom was dirty. Nakia did not appear to have interest in the needs of her customers and was constantly on her personal phone.
Maria and Danielle were very accommodating.

Our card key kept expiring every day. We had to go to the lobby every day to reactivate our card key to our hotel room. One elevator was out of order during the entire 4 night stay. Our check-in experience was horrible as Hotels.com forgot to confirm with the hotel. Please process a refund for our stay at this hotel as soon as possible.

Great value and excellent location. My only suggestion is the desk chairs need to be replaced. Ours was in horrible condition (most of the material was missing) and basically unusable. I asked for a replacement and was told they are all that bad.
All personnel were very friendly and we would stay here again.

The room was disgusting. There was wine splattered on the walls and lamp and the chair was all tattered and scratched up. One elevator was broken and there were stains all over the carpet.

Computer system was down so check-in was postponed by 2 hours
bathroom was so small I had to straddle the toilet to close the door

Systems were down so they required multiple forms. Gave us the wrong room #. They advertised breakfast but it is just a banana and prepackaged muffin. Facility is really rough.

Older place. Tick high cost for what you get.

My Keycard didn't work over 5 times and they essentially had to break into the room, heard another customer complain about bugs, hole in wall with water coming out, shower didn't get watm, extremne wear and tear on furniture, walls, mildew smell, only one elevator worked in building, unprofessional customer service, and more. The list goes on. Worst ever stay at a hotel in my life for an absurd rate. Needs to be shut down.

We tried to call before our reservation to find out the price for adding parking for a second vehicle, we were placed on hold for about 8 minutes then the call just disconnected and when I would try to call back, I just kept getting the busy tone. The lobby was loud and full of people the entire night until we went to sleep after 1 am. The floor we were on had people just hanging outside of their room being extremely loud. The entire place smelled of weed. The room was extremely out dated and the a/c barely even ran putting it on high. The bathroom was the worst I’ve seen in a Holiday inn and extremely outdated and gross. Paid over $300 for one night plus parking and we would have enjoyed a cheap motel more. The bed/sheets were clean and the front desk was friendly in person.

Elevators was broken. Staffs from the front desk barely talk to you.

The property was run down and the lobby smelled like sewer, but our room was clean. The bathroom was tiny and a little crumbly & old, but still clean.

Sad to see the era go with this structure. Again, excellent staff every visit!!

Only one elevator worked. Checkout procedures were lacking. No clear explanation of charges even though I paid a deposit at time of booking.

Very dated property from the 70s. Cleanliness issues everywhere

The hotel only had 1 working elevator so we had to wait a long time and there were days we had to walk down 9 flights of stairs. The ice machines did not work or were empty on the 9th floor so every time I needed ice, I had to go down to the 7th floor to get ice. I realize the hotel is old and I was told that was the reason there were no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms but if that's the case, there needs to be more than one microwave in the lobby for guests to use. There needs to be something set up for guests to make up for that. There was wallpaper pealing off the walls and the desk chair was pealing. I've stayed in a lot of Holiday Inns and this one was not to the standard I am used to. I met a lady in the hall getting on the elevator with me and she stayed one night and decided she was going to another hotel to stay her 2nd night. I at least had a Keurig in my room. This same lady didn't even have that. I have no idea where the rating came from but there is no way it should be that high.

Older Hotel but some update. Uses a Parking management company for parking. Clean and safe area.

I wish they had microwaves in the hotel rooms. I had to go down to the lobby to microwave my food, and my room was on the 16th floor

They should not be booking people to stay in this hotel. After booking our stay, I read about the cleanliness issues in other reviews and was hoping they were over-reacting. They weren’t. Our room smelled horrible. We stayed with two toddlers, and all 4 of us experienced major respiratory issues during our stay, that somehow didn’t bother us at all during the day, when we weren’t in the room. One of our boys was yanking the curtains open and ended up covered in weird white powder. I tried turning off the ac unit to see if the smell issue was coming from there, and it wasn’t. The hotel was generally outdated, but I’ve stayed in plenty of older and outdated hotels that didn’t smell horribly and weren’t in this poor of condition. Also. They do not provide breakfast. A small selection of pre-packaged muffins and apples. The only silver lining was Noel, who did his best to accommodate an issue we had with our flight departure time. The proximity to the downtown was nice, but we wished we would’ve coughed up the money for a more expensive hotel, rather than coughing up literal phlegm for 4 days due to whatever nasty stuff was flying around the room we stayed in.

Unfortunately this hotel did not meet expectations. It needs a remodel. Elevator broken, stains on carpet, peeling wallpaper, instant oatmeal packets is what they call continental breakfast, and the chair in the room had the pleather peeling off. Not what you’d expect for over $300 per night that’s for sure.
It is conveniently located to downtown so it does have that hung for it!

Staff is suuuper friendly and attentive. The hotel itself needs some remodeling.

Really disappointed on how dirty the location was as well as the pests we encountered in our room. Very nice that they gave us instant cancellation credit. That was the only good experience.

The only part of the hotel that looked remotely clean was the lobby. There’s no restaurant, pool or bar as advertised online. Do NOT pay for breakfast online as there’s only a few free snacks and coffee in the lobby. For the 200 dollars a night that was spent, parking is NOT included. There’s a 100 dollar hold for incidentals, which boggled my mind since this hotel is filthy. The carpets in the hall ways looked as though they have never been cleaned and the chairs in the rooms could use a good steaming. Better yet, replace them all together. The bed was very comfortable. There’s no cable and the lamp outlets for cell phone charging did not work. There was a huge hole in the wall behind the toilet, not sure why it hasn’t been cleaned and patched up. They advertise this location to be very convenient and in walking distance to everything. It is I suppose, if you don’t mind walking thru construction zones and sketchy parts of the city. The front desk attendant and security were very kind and professional. Overall, I would recommend staying away from this location and saving some money maybe a few miles out of the city.
