Great hotel within walking distance of so much fun. The light rail was right outside the hotel which wasn’t the best while trying to sleep. The room was lovely, parking was super safe, the staff was nice, but the best bit of the stay was the breakfast buffet. I don’t usually eat breakfasts at hotels because they are just sad but the were so many choices!

I had high hopes for this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. Parking was an obstacle, from entering the hotel to parking in the garage! No signage, even at the parking garage stand (im paying 40 bucks for this?) I made 3 rounds to finally find the entrance (everything is one way, no space in front of the entrance to park unless its RED, to check in for multiple guests being its a Saturday) My friend checked in about an hour later and we started getting ready for our early dinner. Found out the outlet in the bathroom doesn't even work! We are two adults that need the outlet to do our hair....very embarrassing as I told my friend this seems like a great spot to stay. We had reservations for dinner and were late because of this. I called the front desk (hotel phone didn't connect to the desk so I had to use my cell to call for maintenance.) He came, and we had to pause getting ready. He stayed for about 15 minutes and had REPLACE THE WHOLE outlet! I repeat, the whole outlet. Before he left, we asked to test it with our devices, and it worked. Thank goodness. We left for the evening and came back to only hear slamming doors and bathroom/sink pipes throughout the walls. I had wish I brought my ear plugs for this. The only plus was the breakfast. The staff at the front were really busy during check in. An informational pamphlet would've been really helpful at check in or when reserving, regarding the garage/ parking etc. But b/c of location, ppl will always stay!

The staff at this property were friendly and respectful. Great downtown San Jose location close by entertainment venues. Awesome free breakfast!

The front desk staff were seriously so nice & welcoming! The room was spotless. We were very comfortable.

We went to have a drink at the bar and Nick was the best bartender / attendant. The crowd was pretty cool and community like. Definitely added a great visit experience. But seriously shout out NICK! He’s awesome.

Great hotel. "Continental" breakfast was way more than that. Delicious every day. Good location, clean rooms, very accommodating staff. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Just greatly improved rooms etc from former operator.

The staff was very nice and helpful they helped me clear up a little problem with my reservation and I was very grateful for that. I can honestly say that it was the best hotel I’ve stayed at. They get 5 stars from me especially for the front desk staff.

Rust in the bathroom and a loud room near the elevator on top of the airport / traffic noise on the 7th floor

The front desk Erika was very sarcastic and rude on the phone when I had questions regarding checkout time and a coffee machine I do not recommend this place nor will I be back

Service across all staff was consistently attentive and friendly. The parking garage being attached to the hotel was a huge plus at a reasonable price. Room was fine and comfortable. Do get a lot of noise from the bus outside and planes, but it didn’t impact our ability to sleep. Great breakfast buffet and overall convenience for location. Only negative is how thin the walls are and how much you can hear from other guests. Will definitely keep this hotel for all future events at the Civic.

Stayed in San Jose for one night to visit friends and attend the Sharks game. Hotel was nice-a little older. Great location close to Arena and restaurants. Included a breakfast

GREAT LOCATION AND VERY WELL ORGANIZED , BUT COULDNT SLEEP AT ALL. SINCE 2 AM PARTY PEOPLE SCREAMING AND YELLING ON THE HALL WAYS... NO SECURITY AROUND, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN UNTIL 7 AM ...HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE..

The whole experience was great, parking was $40 but it was my choice, front desk staff told me I could find free parking on the street but no telling where I would find it.

Hotel staff is not friendly. Check in was easy. People partying til after 4am and a dog a few doors down barking all night! Beds are ok but pillows are uncomfortable.

Stayed here for a volleyball tournament at the Convention Center and it was perfect! Loved that breakfast was included as well. Everyone was friendly and nice.

Parking is horrendous! $40 a night to park. Tiny parking garage and if no room, try to find parking on the street. Rough check in as there is no place to park while checking in. Other than that, it was nice, and clean.

Great stay. Saw show right across the street at Center for performing arts. Nice lobby, parking is gated and safe. Close to alot of downtown activity to fill anyones taste or fancy.
