It was a comfortable stay. But with kids there was no WiFi connection, power outages and the tv was not working. A lot of storms but was safe. Just inconvenient without wifi

Due to storm damage we were moved to the Hochabel Hotel which is also owned by the Hochabel Town Lodge. Hochabel is an Old school Motel, park in front of your room type with a Bar/grill. Staff was awesome, very friendly and polite. Room was newer, very clean and comfortable. Bar/ Grill was very convenient and food and drink was outstanding. Would recommend!!

Had to request a new room the first night. Broken sink and bed. Then the second night made it to 10pm before a storm ripped the roof off.

The staff was very accommodating. The room was clean, just had been well used. It served our purpose of a quick night to stay. We would stay there again for another one night stay.

Room was nice and clean.

It’s just ok. No curtains on the windows, just blinds so it’s quite bright in the rooms at night. No breakfast, and the water was just barely more than tepid.

The top lock on the door didnt work, the blow dryer didnt work and management turned off the water without notice when i needed to shower before a funeral (my purpose for the stay).

The front-desk receptionist was competent, accommodating, friendly, cheerful, courteous, & efficient. /// The hotel room was good quality for the price that I paid. The room’s two beds were huge, with firm mattresses and lots(!) of pillows (which I really appreciated). Everything in the room was very clean. The linens were cool and fresh.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway at the Hochatown lodge with our two kids. The location was perfect, being so close to the lake, state parks, and restaurants. We loved how convenient it was to explore the surroundings. The lodge itself was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep for the whole family. And let's talk about the shower pressure—it was absolutely amazing! It's always a pleasant surprise to find a hotel with great water pressure. Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend the Hochatown lodge for its cleanliness, convenient location, and comfortable amenities

We'd never stayed here before, and it ended up being a great little place!

The rooms aren't fancy, but exactly what I would expect from a country lodge, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

The property was charming and cozy on exterior. Interior was very clean house sparse No where other than bed to sit. Only 1 table lamp with few outlets for 2 cpap machines ,no hangers refrigerator no Kleenex and too close to highway for noise. For price it was minimally furnished and outfitted. No breakfast either

The room was clean and beds comfortable. But the following amenities were missing from my room: Microwave, Mini-fridge, hangers, and a chair?
Had a small TV and very dim light in the shower.

Room phone did not work. No chairs in room! No stopper/safety screen on lavatory. No clear directions on how to operate TV.

We went for a local craft fair. The lodge was very nice, but its pretty old. We got real keys for the door and it took a lot of effort to get the door open. If you want local or national news or weather, forget it, the tv is only streaming channels, mostly kid shows and Spanish speaking. They dont have any breakfast, no restaurant within walking distance, and only the tiny coffee pot in the room. The room was very big, and the beds were good and comfortable. It was a great atmosphere, clean and welcoming, just a little outdated.

The only issue I had was the television was set to Hispanic and I had a hard time (30-40minutes)figuring out how to change it back to english. Tried calling front desk several times (late PM) and said the number was busy.

The toilet seat needed tightening, the fridge made a vibration noise. Small tv. Outside had cigarette butts in the grown.
The lady at the desk was very helpful and answered my questions.

It was adequate

I stayed here 3 years ago, wow has it gone downhill since then. Make no mistake, this is a budget (2 star) motel that survives due to it's location - directly across the street from the entrance to Beavers Bend St Park. I knew that going in and knew what to expect from a motel in this category. What I didn't expect was broken blinds that allowed anyone walking by to see my family sleeping, bed sheets and pillow cases left unchanged from the previous guest, dirty towels with mascara and lipstick that I was able to partially wash off in the sink but apparently the staff cannot launder.
When I called the front desk to ask if we could get some soap in our room (because there was none) there was no answer twice in 10 minutes, I decided to walk over to the office. About to open the door, I noticed through the glass a young lady sitting at the desk looking down at her phone. I decided to stand there at the door and call the desk again to see if she answered - to no surprise, she sat there playing on her phone while the desk phone rang and eventually went to a recorded message. I dialed again and this time stepped into the office while the phone rang. The look on her face was worth the walk over...
I will not be returning the the New Hochatown Lodge, you probably shouldn't either. Best of luck.

While parked in the small parking lot that is available to guests, someone ran into my vehicle, then left. No breakfast, No coffee. Not a very good value for the price.
