Budget friendly. A little worn but bed was comfortable.

This place was TRASH! Bathroom floors were filthy. Old drapes on the window were missing hooks. Carpet was old worn and ripping from the wear. Nothing updated. The phone was an old square taupe colored small push button type. Only one electrical outlet. This place is awful. Add $20 and stay at the brand new Holiday Inn Express at Railroad Pass and get free breakfast! I will never stay here again! GROSS!

The room was great! The customer service was awful with a very rude male bar server and a waitress that never took our order. She was an older waitress. She took other peoples orders that came after us. The check in girls were wonderful!
We will not be back!

Carpet was dirty. Room was outdated. TV was awful. Couch didnt face tv. Bed linens were dirty. Lighting was horrible. Bath vanity was super small. Toilet felt like you were sitting on floor.

One of our favorite places to stay when in the area, but it is slowly declining and showing signs of neglect. At this point, sadly, we have decided that this will likely be our last stay at this location due to poor maintenance, detail and food availability during our stay. Our room shower & sink backed up what appeared to be sewer, horrible smell until maintenance could fix it. No milk was available for purchase at their grocery store for 3 straight days, we were told due to management issues. We ordered food at La Villita, a nice to go mexican cafe. No beans, no rice and no chile relleno, we were limited to all 4 individuals ordering tacos only. which is what we were told was are only choice. The gal hated her job and it showed. Horrible service :( Sad that one of our favorites has gone so down hill that we will keep driving by, next time we plan to stay here....

The hotel is harder to get to and older but the people are very helpful, happy to be there and know you when you are there only one day. We will stay again!!

from a European standard point of view, this is lower then the rating says. Old and dark interior.

WE were told repairs were being made but for the 3 days we were there we didn't see anyone working on it.

We arrived and inquired about Bingo (as described in the website). We were told they did not have it anymore but there was one at a Casino across town. We went and they did not have it either. We drive back to the hotel and asked about the steakhouse - the gentleman at the desk said they did not have a steakhouse anymore (even though it was on the website). He went in to complain about the hotel and how horrible it was; he also told us that he had worked there for a year and the carpets had not been cleaned since his arrival.
The next morning we went to have breakfast and waited for over ten minutes for someone to come and seat us - no one came and we checked out of the hotel and left.
Very poor guest service; we will never return.

Hotel is really beautiful inside, check in was easy, staff was very friendly. Loved the giant fireplace, big leather chairs, great pictures of Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and Colorado River. The cafe had yummy burgers and fries, the best fried zucchini I have ever had. Our room was large, beds were very comfy. Won 723.00 bucks playing keno.

The kids found toenails and bugs on the floor, which was really unpleasant. Moreover, the television was old and blurry, adding to our discomfort. As a result, we did not get a good night's rest. Efficient checkin and we were delighted to have a floor 26 view overlooking lake mead.
Food in the Big Horn Cafe is good value for money, despite the staff seeming to be rushed off their feet. Would stay again when next in the area.

Affordable rates--could use some updates. Always a let down when you show pool pictures in your amenities and the pool is closed until May.

Room was old. Carpet was dirty. Bathroom was very small and fixtures didn’t work very well. Mattress was horrible. Window faced the ceiling so the view was air conditioners which you listened to all night. The air conditioning in the room did not work well. It was either hot or cold. Too expensive for what you get.

The staff are very friendly. Hotel was clean and maintained. It was a little dated, but we expected that. Still enjoyed our stay and would go again. We enjoyed our view of the mountains from our room.

Good location after a late flight into Vegas...heading towards Arizona for a few days.

This hotel was dirty, there was holes in the wall and smelt terrible. It was way over priced. I will never stay here again. Disgusting

Nice room. No frills but comfortable. The attached restaurant has “local” feel and is very affordable.

Internet sucked. Room old and not comfortable. I will not stay here again.

The hotel is nice on the outside and lobby, but the rooms are a little outdated. Cleanliness is ok but not great. Stayed at this place at least three times and the shower didn’t drain two of those stays. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are fairly quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This was a much needed rest day on our trip. Didn’t want to stay in Vegas and started looking for something tucked away and found the perfect place. The ladies at the check in desk were amazing, very kind and helpful. We would stay again if giving the opportunity, very clean and comfortable.

I couldn't believe such a reasonably priced hotel could have such great reviews. Now I understand. Clean nicely appointed rooms. Affordable quality restaurant. Cool different themed casino areas. And a view of the lake to boot! Just minutes from Hoover Dam.

Basic hotel room. Cute casino area. Basic food...nothing to write home about ..front desk staff are super awesome...older building, not the cleanest but not dirtiest. Found a gnat crawling under the sheets of the bed....really freaked me out I hate bugs... Not an eco/green hotel. Small yet comfy pillows, basic shower amenities... Dated carpet and couch in room...better to just get rid of the carpet. T.v in room was fine. Fridge/freezer was a awesome surprise. Water for shower was hot. If your not looking for upscale,or bougie...if your okay w no frills, this is a good and modest place to stay.

I always stay at the Hoover Damn Lodge when I visit Las Vegas. This hotel is always clean, friendly, and easy to navigate. there were some negative issues, one the ice machines never have ice. Yes, the front desk provided ice to visitors but it's a pain to go downstairs to get it. Second, there was no coffee maker in the room. Yes, we were given a certificate to get coffee downstairs no charge bu$99.00t who wants to go down in P.J's when ready for bed? Also, I really needed to print a form required by the airlines but there was no printer. A 20 story hotel with no printer??? Ok guys. I'll pay for using it, and replacing the ink. But the lack of a one page form cost me 99.00 to take my service dog on the flight.

Great place to go and have fun with great service and food and drink prices.

We enjoyed our stay here mostly due to the location. If you want to be more immersed into the area and not in the crowds then this is your place. We stayed in king deluxe with partial view and it was perfect. Room had fridge and microwave but this hotel has everything you might need on ground floor including restaurant, bar, shopping and casinos. Can’t recommend the coffee but it’s not that far to Starbucks. No coffee maker in room.

We were pleasantly surprised about this hotel. Great service. Very comfy bed, clean room. Decor is dated, but everything works. It was a last minute booking and everything in the Vegas area was booked. I would stay here it again. The friendly staff and comfy bed were amazing!
