Great place to stay for business or pleasure. It’s in the details - with water and coffee bar on each floor, such a great touch! And the ‘eco’ mindedness is such a refreshing take in hotels!

Family trip that we are on. We came in from a long road trip from Florida. Great place to stay..

The staff at the Hotel Vermont are very friendly and accommodating. Food choices at the bar/restaurant are excellent, as is the food itself. The bar and lounge area is comfortable and great for people watching and conversation. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet with fun and thoughtful amenities. We loved the coffee/tea maker on each floor, as well as the chocolate chip cookies! Great place, and very close to Church St. where a lot of Burlington action is. Looking forward to our next stay.

We stayed one night. I called the morning over to ask if we could check in early and was told they’ll have a room by noon instead of their 3pm check in time. Front desk staff was friendly. For $16 a day you can park in their garage but the elevator is currently not working so be prepared to take the garage stairs. They gave us room #312 which is literally by the elevator and coffee station. We heard everyone and everything the entire night. Also trash trucks non stop outside evening and morning. The room was clean. The the toilet area and shower are seperated on different sides of the room with sliding partitions. They have a small comfortable chair for one person and a smart tv. The bed was a little stiff but was clean. If it wasn’t for the noise it would’ve been 4 stars instead of 3. The garage should be included and they should let you know before you get there the elevator doesn’t work.

Very nice rooms, lovely lobby and bar, convenient to all Burlington has to offer with friendly service. It's not obvious from the website that the pool and hot soaking tub are actually in the hotel next door, so you have to walk outside to access them, and the tub doesn't have jets.

Nice hotel - but surrounding area not as nice (eg vagrants in tents next to road).

Eliza checked us in. What a delight!
Everyone working there is outstanding. The room is cute (not large) but we didn’t spend much time in the room. The shower was amazing. The lobby is great, the bar and food is excellent. We will certainly stay here next time we are in Burlington.
This is a really great hotel, well located and friendly staff.

Staff was incredibly helpful. Comped our parking and gave my son a pad and pen for his homework!

We had an excellent stay at The Hotel Vermont. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made check-in a breeze. Our room was comfortable and had a nice partial view of Lake Champlain. The complimentary hydration station was such a nice touch. The bubbly water really hit the spot! Parking was easy, and the proximity to the Lake, as well as to Church Street, can’t be beat. The location was perfect for us. Easy to walk here and there, and just as easy to drive in/out of the attached garage to explore other areas of Burlington and beyond. We had a great weekend. We try to visit once a year, and while this was our first stay here, it won’t be our last.

Beautiful. Best place to stay in downtown Burlington - even if it costs a bit more. Bar was comfortable and had live music. Coffee bars on each floor including taps of water and sparkling water. The beds were very comfortable!!

Had an excellent stay room was very modern and hip. Great coffee bar on each floor, convenient location for our needs shopping sightseeing, and hiking excellent staff, with the exception of one bartender, who was very inattentive and somewhat aloof.

There's only one place in Burlington that combines the vibe of Vermont with the comfort of an upscale hotel. Hotel Vermont is it! Rooms, food, personel, everything is topnotch. Love it.

Oh man. This is one of the best places I've stayed. Everything was exceptional. Room, gym, pancakes as a vehicle to maple syrup. But honestly, Meredith behind the desk took it to another level. She hand-wrote a map for me to experience the path by Lake Champlain. Next level. I will be return.

Wonderful room with a view of the lake. Unfortunatrly, the fire alarm went off at 2 am and reqired everyone to evacuate the building and stand outside with temperatures below 32 degrees F.

The only complaint was the noise from the bar below our room into the early evening hours. The music was quite loud. It only occurred the first night of our stay and was quiet after that.

Absolutely awesome! From the incredible staff to all the little extra comforts. Love the sustainability and the homage to the local shops and artisans.

Nice property with friendly staff. Wasn’t crazy about the street it was on as it was unlit and desolate at night. All the good restaurants are within walking distance but walking on an unlit street was not great.

The only thing I didn’t like was having to pay for self parking because I have never had to pay for parking at a hotel I was staying at unless it was valet. Taking into consideration your location is next to a high school you should be ashamed to the gouge the public $15.00 to get an additional income when you’re overpriced already

The room we were assigned was noisy due to its location near the elevator and coffee machine.

Good location. Nice hotel. My only complaint is that when I checked in I was told that no rooms face Lake Champlain. Later that day we changed rooms for unrelated reason and lo and behold we had a gorgeous view of the the lake. I mentioned this to the manager that we were given very inaccurate information at check in and he said that since the view is partial, they tell people that there are no views of the lake. I suggested that they tell people that there are only partial views but he rejected that suggestion. Our view was only very minimally partial and was very gorgeous and added a lot to our enjoyment.
