I always enjoy staying at Sandman. The staff is great, the beds are comfy and I will be back for sure.

We stayed at the signature side. Room was nice, staff were friendly. Having Moxies and Chop so close was for sure a bonus.

We booked a hotel when we landed in Calgary so as to not waste money if we were delayed. I called ahead to see how their shuttle to the airport worked (which was something they specifically advertised). They said it ran every 45 min. and on demand from the airport. They never mentioned anything about “booking” or shuttles filling up. When we arrived late in the evening they informed us that the shuttle was full and the only shuttle that could take us would make our stay in a hotel obsolete or late for our flight. We were informed that we would have had to book earlier but we checked in when we arrived. There was no way we would have been able to take a shuttle and would have stayed somewhere we could guarantee our shuttle. We instead had to pay for a cab on our own dime. It was also advertised that they had breakfast. Surprise, surprise that was something else that was on our own dime. Wouldn’t stay here again. Not impressed. Don’t expect what they sell. They won’t deliver.

Close to airport with shuttle available. Two restaurants onsite which is very convenient. Rooms are clean and tastefully decorated.

No benefit to the VIP side and I’ve stayed here often for the last five years. The construction taking place left it dirty on the signature side which impacts the value. Pool and hot tub were shut down and parking lot was full of parked vehicles for the airport who all seemed to take the closest spots. Finding a decent stall was difficult for my two night stay.

On our second nights stay, we lost internet, cable and power for approx 12 hours. Very little to no communication was provided to the guests as to why or eta for restoration.

The washroom was amazing. We had a king suite. The bed was very comfy. I didn't like the feel of the oversized desk and tv stand it made the room heavy. However everything else was amazing. Loved that amazing restaurants were so accessible and the convenience of being so close to the airport.

Good location for airport, shuttle service was excellent and available on demand for airport pick up. Great to have Moxies in the hotel. Lots of parking, extended parking is $5/day which is cheapest out of most hotels in the area.

The deep hot tub and the pool area very clean and modern. Rooms modern and really loved the 2 person deep tub in our room.

Very convenient and easy to locate. Multiple dining options on site and within a very short commute. Very clean and a fresh look to the hotel, staff were friendly and acted on requests.
We would stay again and probably will do if just visiting Calgary or travelling abroad.

Happy with our stay. The room was clean, and spacious. Bathroom was fully equipped with complimentary products and lots of towels.

Fast, curious, helpful service from many staff members during our 2 day stay. Its our 3rd time since 2019 at this hotel. Could've have had better service from the staff at hotel. Very very pleased and worth every penny. The shuttle service was right on time as usual. Thank you very very much.

Very, very good! Great condition and accommodations. Only bad thing was our room was a little too cool and we could not adjust the cooling system. It was non-functional.

Our stay was enjoyable. Check in was straightforward. Rooms clean and modern. (We stayed in Sandman Signature section.) A restaurant was close for a late night supper and the shuttle driver to the airport the next morning was delightful!

Older hotel. NOT kept up or cleaned well. Rooms are very small and unlike pictures online. Also no coffee available in the lobby in the morning as stated. Nothing special about the hotel or our stay here. Glad it was only for one night

We were very happy with our room as well as the service. We only had 2 issues: we had trouble adjusting the temperature of the room. Every time we changed the thermostat, it changed back. Also, the shower was too hot and we were unable to adjust it.

Everything seemed okay until we left the hotel and my sister immediately started complaining about being itchy. Turns out she is covered in bedbug bites.
