Welcome to this secluded get-away conveniently located about 20 min to Folly Beach, 15 min to Kiawah and 15 min to downtown Charleston. Relax at this newly furnished guest house in a secluded setting. Recent guests have said: "Excellent plac. I'd come back a thousand times. Very quiet, yet close to everything. My husband and I were in town for a wedding, and were really impressed to see how nice the space was in person" - Madison You will enjoy an entire 1 bed 1 bath guesthouse above our attached garage. You have a separate private entrance and separate parking. The guesthouse is accessed from an entrance at the rear of the garage. Make your way up the stairs and you are greeted by a bench made from a salvaged cotton mill flooring board from North Carolina. This main room has a futon, live edge table for setting up an impromptu office, smart TV, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and coffee table. Adjacent to the living room is the full bathroom and bedroom both behind their own doors. Note that the futon is counted as one of the two beds listed - I would not count on it being super comfy for sleeping but would work in a pinch. You will have full access to the guest house above the garage with a private entrance. We do not share this space with the main house. Think of this as similar to a town home or condo. We are in 'the sticks' as some would say. You will travel on a dirt road and gravel driveway to get here. We're sorry if you just washed your car! We are located in Charleston, SC - there are mosquitos, gnats, palmetto bugs, etc. We do employ regular pest control on this property. The security camera listed in the details is mounted on the exterior of the garage pointed down the entry driveway. We have two friendly dogs that you may see during your stay. They only know how to love so don't be afraid to give them a pet. Please do be careful when coming and going in your car. You may see wild turkey, deer, hawks, owls, eagles or even a peacock during your stay.

Sam hit all our 5-star qualities in a rental. His rental is beautifully decorated and very quiet location.. Bed is super comfortable and hotel quality bedding too

My husband & I stayed at Samās for his birthday weekend & it was amazing! The place was immaculate & a very comfortable āhome away from homeā! The location was prime in that it was close to all of the major areas that we went to while there (Charleston, James Island & Folly Beach, to name a few)ā¦all about a 15-30 min drive away. Sam, himself, was very attentive & responsive & just a phone callā¦a few short steps away if needed. But, as I alluded to earlier, everything was perfect, so we didnāt need to call on him for anythingā¦because he had already thought of everything! We would definitely stay here again if weāre ever in that area in the future!

Great place to stay while visiting family !!! Host was very easy to get ahold of to see property. Wanted to find it in the daylight as property could be tricky to fine at night. Really well decorated & clean!!!!! Thanks for everything !!!

We enjoyed our stay at this immaculate place. It was peaceful and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Close to everything we wanted to see in Charleston and everything we needed for a long weekend.

We were in Johns Island for my daughter's birthday and stayed for 3 nights.
It is just beautiful - a well designed & constructed space.
Easy to find though it is off the "beaten path" and is secluded. It is very clean and the bed is excellently comfortable. The Owner was always available for advice on local businesses - most importantly - the closest local coffee shop!! There is a Keurig in this cozy guesthouse but when we're on vacation, we enjoy going out for coffee.
We were fortunate to meet the Owner as well as his lovely pets. Sam is great guy and so is the space he designed for visitors.

Great location on John's island. 10 min from park, 20 min to kiawah folly and Charleston proper. Great communication. There is little cell service (a good thing tbh!) but they have reliable wifi. When it went down once and I needed to send work files asap, Sam reset the router and had wifi back within the hour. I would šÆ recommend this place and hope to stay again ā¤ļø

My husband and I were in town for a wedding in Wadmalaw and this location was just perfect! It's cleanliness was impeccable! Super nice! The host were responsive and easy to talk to. Quick access to Charleston, Folly Beach, and Wadmalaw Island. If we get another kid free weekend, would definitely love to stay here again!

Took the SO for a mini vacation to celebrate her BDay early since we both work a lot. This place was beautiful and well kept. Definitely would book again in the future if we ever find ourselves traveling to Charleston again!

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights in this amazing place! The cleanliness was impeccable. The host was SUPER helpful in communicating. It was such a beautiful place to stay in a location close to several cool spots to dine and drink! The hosts were kind enough to leave a list of their personal recommendations as well:) I wish we could have stayed longer, we will most definitely be back if we stay in the area again.

Very private in a rural low country setting. Newly renovated and nicely furnished. A little bit of a drive to restaurants but not too bad. About 30 minutes to Folly Beach or Park Circle.

The location was perfect for us visiting family on Johns Island. There are plenty of places nearby for all of our needs from drug stores to restaurants. Nice central location to everywhere. Really clean and comfortable!

Comfortable stay with a couple. It's big enough for more people but not enough beds. The futon would not be be comfortable for anyone other than a child or teen. While the location was perfect for our purposes (close to the wedding venue), you would need to rent a car to get anywhere else. The bed was great as well as the size of the bathroom. I would recommend a better set up for the breakfast/coffee area and adding a microwave and maybe a few items for the coffee--plenty of k-cups but nothing else. Great hosts - very private area and quiet.

Country, quiet and peace. I enjoyed the coziness and once I understood my surroundings, I was happy with the locations.
Neat shops and restaurants within 10 mins driving. Sam was nice and easy to reach.

Really enjoyed our stay here! My husband and I were in town for a wedding, and were really impressed to see how nice the space was in person! It was a great central location for the wedding festivities we were in town for and Sam was great making sure we were comfortable and if there was anything we need! Would visit again!!
