Kathleen and Greg are excellent hosts. Checked on us a couple times to see if we needed anything and even gave us carrots for the bunnies and fresh eggs for us! Our 8 years old grandson loved it. The property is well maintained and very quiet in a nice neighborhood. Close to stores, the coast and points of interest. We look forward to our next stay.

Highly recommend. My son moved to the area 2 years ago and this is the first time we have been out to see him. He has a nice studio apartment but it would not hold all of us. This work so nicely, we were able to see the sights and still have family meals and down time. Beds are comfortable, kitchen stocked, house clean could not ask for more.

We loved this place from even before we got there. Katherine was hospitable and understanding when I asked to check in a bit earlier. Within 10 minutes of arriving, my kids were best friends with the bunnies and goats. The place was clean and the decor was the coolest retro set up. We enjoyed fresh eggs, local beverages and felt like we'd gone back in time playing the record player and games through the evening. If you like a flavor of California Country, this is the place for you.

Delightfully retro home on a small farm. Good space and amenities. Our kids loved feeding the goats and seeing all of the farm animals. The included water and fresh eggs from the hens outside was a great touch! Nice location for exploring the beaches and Redwoods. The hosts were great and we'd love to stay again.

Before we booked this house, we're a little hesitant because there were virtually no reviews at all and thought the living space may be too cramp for 4 adults and 2 little kids but when we got there we found that's not the case. This house is spacious for 6 people to live in, everything is very organized and CLEAN. The beds are very comfortable, good linens, plenty of pillows, blankets and towels. Even the sofa sleeper is pretty comfortable. Moving to the kitchen, we got everything we need to cook with. It's even equipped with electric water kettle, crockpot, keurig coffee maker with some coffee pods, big pot to make soup, utensils, plates, bowls, corning ware etc. They also have plenty of board games for family to hang out after dinner or when you decided just to chill at the house. The owners (Kathleen and Greg) are so sweet, very kind, friendly people. They're very accommodating, making sure our stay was pleasant. The first day when we arrived, we got a nice surprised. They provided us with fresh eggs straight from their farm that were collected a day before we were arrived! We never tasted eggs that fresh before and they were delicious. They also left some carrots in the fridge so the kids can feed the animals. They had bunnies, goats, sheep, chicken. That's what make my little kids wake up eagerly every morning. They wanted to feed the bunnies and goats! As for the location, it was perfect for us. We came from Glendale, CA so we wanna stay in the south. To get groceries, Safeway, Grocery outlet and restaurants is only 5 min away. This house is just 2 min away from the 101 N. Clam beach is 10 min drive, we visited Trinidad state beach a few times and that was like 20 minutes drive. Our main destination was Redwood NP, to reach the south part (Orick) is 30 min drive, Prairie creek is 45 min drive, Klamath is about an hour drive and the North part (Jedediah Smith and Hiouchi area) is about 1.5 hour drive. We covered the entire park from South to North. Only one suggestion: The bathroom can use more places to hang towels and clothing especially just outside of the shower door otherwise everything else was just PERFECT and we love every little details of the house. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this rental house and hope to stay again in the future.
