Excelente resort si buscas tranquilidad y buenas playas

A slice of paradise
A slice of paradise just like in the movies. The crystal clear waters and pristine beach, being transported to a desert island by longboat and then greeted on arrival with a cooling glass of tea and cooling towels was an extra special touch. The place is, simply, jaw dropping even the most seasoned traveller would be hard pushed not to ‘wow’ when they arrive. We stayed in a beach facing tree house with a few short steps up from the beach. The room was very clean and beautifully presented with a four poster bed, mosquito nets, swan arranged towels, nice bedding, good sized shower and ornate sink. Air conditioning could have been stronger but it certainly helped at least it worked. Kettle and cups in room, also a cheap mini bar with all your essentials: large bottles of water, soft drinks, beer and a couple of chocolate bars. The hammock outside was so relaxing to lie on and doze off to the sound of the waves. There was some longboat noise but it didn’t bother us at all. The staff were very helpful and friendly and carried our heavy bags on and off the longboat and into the room for which we are extremely grateful (it was not our intention to travel so heavily but unavoidable due to our increased schedule). The restaurant serves nice food and very good smoothies (coconut and also lychee and dragonfruit all lovely). They also have a massage hut overlooking the beautiful beach and reception will happily book any excursions and transfers for you. All you need for a relaxing break, but just a couple of things to be aware of, see below…
This is not a place for the mobility impaired, sadly. In order to disembark the longboat you must climb up, lift your leg and body across and then manoeuvre off directly into the water (shallow). This will be problematic if you have mobility issues although the staff do try their best to help. We stayed in a room at the lower level. This still had some steps to climb up and some tree roots to navigate and I noticed most of the rooms were set higher up the hill. The air conditioning was just about adequate, but could do with being stronger. I also wonder whether they could introduce aircon or a fan to the outside verandahs too? That would make it more comfortable. The bathroom had absolutely no storage yet there was plenty of space to install a small cabinet or shelves, that would also make for a more comfortable stay. Also, the sink in the bathroom is high and adult sized so I’m not sure how a child would use it. This is nothing to do with the hotel, but the ferry crossing to PhiPhi itself takes 2 hours normal ferry and we found it quite uncomfortable, the speedboat is better at 1 hour and the reception at the hotel can arrange that for you if you ask them to (they are very helpful).

Lovely stay
The resort was well worth the money, very quaint and beautiful beach to relax in and the lads who took our bags were so fantastic and hard working
The ladies at the front desk were quite unfriendly, and some confusion over ordering meals and drinks

Disappointed
The private beach
The room was absolutely not like in the pictures. I was so disappointed. Moreover we needed to walk a lot from the reception to the room. The room was so small.
