The Space: Villa Aquamare is a fully renovated 2 bed 2 bath beachfront apartment located inside the Wyndham Rio Mar Grand Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. You will love the ocean and pool views from both terraces, the living room, and one of the bedrooms. The condominium has 3 ocean-front pools and a jacuzzi, all within walking distance. The beach is across the pool and there are lounge chairs available for our guests to use. Aquamare’s two-bed, two-bath layout, and immediate proximity to 3 pools and a mile-long beach make it the ideal property for couples and families looking for the perfect, no-hassle Caribbean vacation. IMPORTANT NOTE: Guests are not authorized to use ALL of the Wyndham Hotel amenities and facilities. Villa Aquamare’s guests only have access to the Iguana's Cocina Puertorriqueña Restaurant and the Hotel Casino, Golf Course, Tennis Courts & Spa (available with prior reservation). The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the building and they reserve the right of admission. LIVING AREAS The living room has comfortable seating for six adults and a flat-screen smart TV. The living room has pool and beach views and a terrace with a breakfast table for four and a modern hanging chair. The dining room has a four-person round dining table and is seamlessly connected to the living room. There is air conditioning throughout the entire apartment. The property includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed with an armchair and smart TV. The master bedroom enjoys pool and ocean views. The master bathroom is fully renovated and features a double sink and standing shower. The 2nd bedroom has two queen beds, an ocean-front terrace with 2 chairs, smart TV, and a dedicated full bathroom with a shower. KITCHEN Villa Aquamare has a fully renovated kitchen that is small and tidy but well-outfitted for an extended stay. The kitchen features a 4-burner stovetop, microwave, oven, ice maker, and fridge. GETTING AROUND Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande. There are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate. The villa includes 1 parking spot. Ubers and taxis are not readily available in this area. LOCATION This private beachfront villa is located inside the Ocean Villas Community on the grounds of the 500-acre Wyndham Rio Mar Grand Resort & Spa. The Ocean Villas community boasts three oceanfront pools and a jacuzzi available for use of community residents and guests only. There is 24-hour security and underground parking. The Ocean Villas are directly in front of the beach and include access to beach lounge chairs. TRAVEL INSURANCE We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. AMENITIES West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. If you are staying for more than 3 nights and the property does not have a washer and dryer we can coordinate a complimentary towel changeover, subject to availability. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel-size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay. HOUSE RULES Check-in time is at 4:00 PM Check-out time is at 11:00 AM NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated. NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property. All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first. Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors. Do not hang towels or clothes from balcony or windows. Do not wash white towels with colored beach towels. Any damaged towels will be charged from the security deposit. Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property. Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess, stained towels/linens will be charged from damage deposit Subletting not allowed Host will not pay for hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of cancelling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used.
